Once the card was closed he went and printed a new card and helped me set up a new PIN number. I love that I didn't have to wait a week for a new card to be sent out. Whenever I go in and Jose is there he always ask how my mom is doing. He even ask by her first and last name. She was just awesome and an asset to the bank. I did deduct one point from a perfect score because Travis did not give me an ATM card unto the second try and then failed to mail a pin code which I have read in other reviews as well. They told me they went with a new company that delivers the PIN code and I have requested this several times and was ordered a few times but never came. I ordered it to the bank itself to be kept in their vault they said-NEVER came! I ordered it to the house-NEVER came! I gave up and don't use the ATM anyway as I go into the bank itself which you do not need a card like other banks so they tell me. I have never withdraw yet because it is in a multi-month CD so when the time comes I will update it it goes smoothly to withdraw my money or not?! That kind of makes me suspect in reality why are they having so much trouble with a PIN code being delivered to its customers-like do they want to prevent people taking their money out!? However, I did check and TCU has a good and solid bank rating. It is insured by the NCUA (like FDIC but for credit unions). At least making some money, since regular big banks are not giving anything other than pennies literally. So I will update if anything is questionable or not good, but so far it has been great and I earned a good amount. I did rollover into the best interest rate again although it was a bit lower, but still decent among the brick and mortar. You can get quite a bit sometimes with online banking, but I honestly do not trust online banking because there is no place you can go to if sometghing happens and they shut down and cannot reach them online or on the phone, who can you go to?! At least the brick and mortar places, you have someone you can yell at or get your money hopefully and I mean if they invested in a physical place with employees,etc more of a chance it is invested in its company. Updated to add: manager read my Yelp and personally called to help me with getting an ATM card and PIN code. She apologized for the problem and said she will do anything to make it right! Way to go- I appreciated it being a customer and not just an account number like in the big banks. I like TCU even more now!

I took my roll of dimes home, probably too hard to count a roll of dimes. My $21.50 in coin was deposited and my dimes are still in the roll. I just think the lack of effort is sad and they're a credit union for goodness sakes!! 3 hours later: the supervisor called me and explained the teller is new and their coin machine is working now. I now get to spend my weekend figuring out which auto pays I need to switch before my bill payments get rejected, because the part is - they changed my card at the end of the month. You know, when bills are due? Apparently I have 3 days to change all of my payments before my current card is deactivated - information that was not sent to me with the new card, but rather, that I had to wait 30 minutes on hold to find out from their call center. I've been a member for 15 years and this has been the encouragement I needed to end my membership with Travis.
