My gutters leaked in a few spots and I called Commercial Gutter for a repair or replacement quote. Carla answered and said to text a few pictures of the gutters to Paul, who would be doing the estimate, and then he would stop by for the quote. Paul came out about a week later, and determined that the gutters needed replacing on one side. He took measurements and it came out to about $1000 for 77 feet of aluminum gutter. The work was scheduled about two weeks later. Two guys came out around 7:30 in the morning for the old gutter removal and new gutter installation, and they finished up around 11. The gutters look great, and the style and color matched up perfectly with the other half of the gutters that did not needed replacing. The only issue was that when they removed the old gutter, in spots they dented in the aluminum underneath the gutter with their prying tool. read more

I appreciate Paul's honesty. He came to give us a quote and talked about the reality of what everything would look like. We previously had the gutters installed in the wrong way. He said that on our condo buildings, there would be a small line, which we really can't see from the ground, underneath the new gutter. He also mentioned that some of the gutters had been replaced, and were in pretty good condition and that lowered the estimate. He didn't have to do that, because I didn't know that the gutters had been already replaced. We decided not to have the gutters done, because it was quite expensive, but as far as hiring a company to take care of this, I would really like to work with them. read more

We had an issue with a gutter causing water to leak into our house, so I set out looking for a gutter company to fix the problem. I searched the usual suspects (Yelp, Nextdoor, neighbors), found 3 companies with great reviews, and had them all give estimates. I picked Commercial Gutter, because the price was competetive and Paul was very thorough when he came out to do the estimate. He got on a ladder and inspected the gutter, did a water test, and figured out what needed to be done to fix the issue - replace one length of gutter, patch holes in the stucco, and add a new downspout. I must not be the only ones who like Commercial Gutter, because they didn't have availability for another 6 weeks! But when the scheduled day finally arrived, their crew was on time and very thorough. They explained what they were going to do, took some input from me for the exact placement of the new downspout, and got to work and were done in a few hours. I was told that the stucco patch needed to cure before doing a water test, so I waited and did a water test the next day. I found a couple of issues and let Paul know - so he offered to come with the crew the next day to take a look. It turned out most of the issues weren't actually issues, but I appreciated their customer service and willingness to come back to quickly resolve things. I would not call this company professional, prompt, or even friendly. I am house sitting at an apartment complex. Three dogs with a fenced backyard where they can go to the bathroom or lie around. They are escape artists, the owner has already warned me. Cue about 11am today: some guy at the back gate trying to get it open but having a bit of trouble with the latch. Thank God he did not get it open fluidly, because the dogs would be gone, for sure, and unless the miraculous happened, I would be out of my job which I depend on, like so many others, and I happen to thoroughly enjoy. The company I work for would simply fire me as I would be seen as a liability. I then asked what was going on and he said he was there to clean the gutters. I said ok, I'll put the dogs in the kitchen, as they could have escaped. He looked at me blankly, turns, and starts walking away. Sorry for the inconvenience, I guess, guy! When I have put the dogs away, I go back to the backyard to let them know it's good. A different guy flags me over with a wave. Maybe the supervisor. I say, "yep, it's fine, the dogs are in!" He says ok. The ladders get set up in the backyard. Then they take their lunch. About an hour or more after they have put up the ladders, they get to working on my gutters. Another hour passes and I notice the ladders are gone. However, they left the gate wide open. So I go outside and ask the supervisor from before, "you're done with my backyard, right?" He gives a firm "no." I reiterate, "so you are coming back here," and I signal to the ground, pointing with my index finger. He says "yes, we are coming back." Ok, I say. It is now 3pm and their truck is gone. They did not come back. The tone of the three words that they did say was aloof, if not unfriendly, or at best, pretty awkward. read more

Met with Paul on 9/2015 to change out gutters. He told us well in advance that since they were really busy, work wouldn't start until Nov. but they could remove the old gutter immediately. During the removal, the crew accidental knocked down the post box when their truck was backing out of our driveway. Paul immediately stepped in and promised to fix it. He kept his promise and fixed it a week later. Paul recommended the gutter glove to prevent leaves from blocking the gutter. It works perfectly. Not often I give 5 stars but the Commercial Guttrer and Gutterglove deserve it. I used to have to go up twice a year to clean the gutters of leaves. Hated doing it and it was dangerous. I have had the Gutterglove installed for 7 years now and have not had a clogged gutter since. Price was good and they installed them quickly without damaging the gutters. read more

Discussed it with the wife and decided to go with Commercial. Work was scheduled on Friday, April 22. Work was completed in one day. Even with excellent Yelp reviews, one has skepticism about whether a business will provide the goods and services one is looking for. I have been extremely disappointed at businesses that received good reviews on Yelp and failed to perform as expected. My experience with Commercial Gutter & Cleaning was remarkable-- estimate independently completed while I was on vacation, extensive telephone discussion of products offered, services and options and scheduling the day of installation were as seamless as it gets. My problem was extreme debris clogging my gutters. I had extensive conversations with Paul and Robert about how to address my needs rather than paying to clean the gutters two or three times a year. I decided on Gutter Glove Pro series gutter covers, the top of the line model. They are quite expensive but I decided they are worth it if I can keep my gutters clean thus avoiding damage from overflowing gutters and flooding.The workers showed up on time, explained the installation and proceeded to clean the gutters and install new gutters and gutter guards on the garage and Gutter Gloves guards on the house. I was able to collaborate well with the the workers painting the baseboards and behind the old down spouts. I used their ladders to paint. I can imagine another company spending a few hours rushing through this job; however, Commercial Gutter was at the house seven hours. The quality of the work Commercial Gutters completed is reflected in the time needed to do the job right and the workmen spent the time to do it right. An added plus is Commercial gutters answers their phones and returns calls promptly. The real test will come with the first big rain storm; if the gutters and gutter guards fail to perform as expected I will certainly modify this review. However, I expect to enjoy the rain with a cup of hot coffer as the gutters do their job and I can relax. read more

I recently had Commercial Gutters, Inc. install gutter glove on my rain gutters. I worked directly with Robert and he was very responsive and professional. After they installed the gutter glove, I had an unrelated downspout issue that he had his workers come out and take care of. I highly recommend them. The work of cleaning the gutters of the 32 unit Condo I live in were contracted and scheduled, The work when completed was horrible and incomplete. The workers left bags of debris "they could not take" in front of my condo, now five (5) days, I was informed by Paul, they would be picked up. (He lied) I returned home to discover at 6PM, they are still in front of my Condo. All the gutters were not cleaned, I sent picture to the property management, Real Management, They have done nothing to get the bags out of my view. I called Commercial Gutter and after the fifth day, I finally got a person on the phone, he listened to my complaint, no sympathy, nothing but excuses. When I attempted to respond he hung up on me. Our hoa had these guys cleaned our gutters last month and were very thorough and efficient. Our gutters are now have sense been ready for all the rain we have had. They could have swept everything up from our balconies, but maybe it would have been an additional charge; so, I cannot take off points for that. I called Commercial Gutter and Cleaning after contacting three other contractors. Interestingly, all three had superior ratings on Yelp. Commercial Gutter came out inspected my gutters, and told me that the problem was a roofing issue not a gutter issue. Interestingly, I received a quote for a gutter cleaning from another contractor, who had also come to inspect the gutters. The fact that Commercial Gutter and Cleaning took the time to inspect the gutters, and inform me that the central problem is not with the gutters shows that they are very honest and professional. read more
