Cute spot. I was a bit put off initially by the strong aroma of hot sauce when I walked in but after looking at the menu I wanted to try the crepes. Apparently they are known for a certain hot sauce they sell out of their shop. I ordered a vegetarian crepe with egg, spinach, and subbed in their favorite ricocheted cheese fora $2.99 upcharge because they said it's a strong one and i love strong cheeses! This did not disappoint! I would have gone with a regular crepe though knowing it was a wheat/grainy wrap. I love the cheese. All went together great! I would have enjoyed a small drop of syrup on the side but they charged for that too so I skipped that. I also ordered the man iced decaf cafe mocha, light on milk and sweetener. I added marshmallows. The drink wasn't as strong as I'd hoped but Ava was kind enough to add a decaf shot and that definitely helped but still heavily milky drink. Ava's service was warm and helpful! I was the only one in the restaurant on a Sunday morning after church. Not a good sign. Service was very good. But, You have to order at the counter and then they bring your food out. The croque Monsieur was okay, not great. The chai latte was terrible. It tasted like warm water with cinnamon floating on top.waitress offered another cup, I declined. This was a really enjoyable breakfast. All the food was phenomenal. We loved the crepes, my husband got the complete and he was more than satisfied. He raved over the bacon most however. I got the blueberry jam and goat cheese crepe and it was divine. I loved the balance of tangy goat cheese and sweet blueberry jam. The server informed us it was his favorite as well. We each got chai lattes and they were just average. Not a ton of spiced flavor, and overly milky. The woman behind the counter when we ordered was a little rude. My wife and I came from out of town to explore Traverse City and found the perfect place to satisfy our breakfast cravings! The menu is simple but packed a good variety of sweet and savory options. I went with the Croque Salmon and a French Press coffee. It took a little bit for the food to come out, which we expected as there was a notice that the restaurant was currently short staffed. Once the food came out and I took a bite, however, I forgot about the wait. The croque was excellent, with crispy toasted edges and perfectly melted cheese and fondue. The salmon melted in my mouth and the flavor and texture did not get lost in the cheese. All the flavors balanced each other without one that was too overpowering. I also tried their own Smokin Hot Sauce, which offered a perfect smoky kick to complement everything. While we were eating, the woman who took our order stopped by and asked how everything tasted, which was a nice gesture to make sure our experience was going well. I was surprised at how much I liked the food! Next time I'm in town, I would definitely come back here!! Other: Parking was pretty easy, found a street parking spot just outside the restaurant, but it was also off peak time on a Friday morning. There's a nice outdoor space with a firepit and some chairs, and the area indoors shares space with a brewery. We came here for breakfast because their website says they make gluten free buckwheat crepes. It's inside a brewery (which was closed at breakfast time) and the people were very friendly. I had the Complete, Ham, Egg and Cheese, which was very tasty. My wife had The Goaty with Walnut & Local Dried Cherries, Local Cherry Jam and Chèvre (goat cheese), which she liked, but didn't love. The goat cheese and mushroom crepe is a good savory choice. For sweet, I am partial to the lemon with powdered sugar. Her chocolate sauce one is nice, too. Service is always superb. This is our second visit to this establishment and the food is consistently delicious. The kids love the crepes and we usually order the croque madam. This time we also had the croque salmon which had leeks and tasted amazing. My partner kept making groaning noises so I think he very much approved. The counter service style restaurant is relaxed with very helpful staff and the interior is funky fresh with a real instagrammable style. If you are lucky enough, you can dine in the pimped out vintage camper with lots of Michigan camping photographs and post cards. The space has a very comfortable vibe with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu was pretty limited, which was surprising. There weren't very many crepe options. Other crepe places that I have been to have had really cool and beautiful crepe flavors. The woman who took our order was very nice snd recommended the lemon sugar crepe. I was in between that one and the kids special (which I think they could've been more creative with and renamed). The lemon sugar crepe was very very good! I love lemon flavored desserts and the sugar was the perfect amount. It wasn't too sweet it too sour, it was perfect. It wasn't that busy and the wait was very long. I feel like it shouldn't take that long to prepare the food, but I didn't mind the wait (25ish mins) because I got a latte next door. I'm not sure if I would come back. I definitely liked that crepe, I just wish that they had More options and were more creative with the menu. Excellent!!! First of all you don't need a reservation it's like a mini food court. Get in line, order and you get a cute pager that will alert you when your food is ready. Forget the horrible wait times you will get elsewhere. They even have plenty of seating indoors and outside. I got the "complete crepe" and I added spinach, my friend got the vegetarian crepe (which is the meatless version of my crepe) and my other friend ordered the Croque monsieur sandwich. We ordered the kid favorite chocolate banana crepe to share. Everything was so good! I enjoyed my friends sandwich that she gave me a taste of. Loved this place! We grabbed brunch outside on the patio before we left TC today. We ordered the mushroom croque and salmon crepes. Both were absolutely delicious. The crepes where pretty good I first got the lemon crepes, and it turned out to be two very thin crepes on a plate with a slice of lemon and powdered sugar on top. The Croque Madame was the best we've had. Everything about it was perfect: crispy golden locally made sourdough bread, creamy béchamel, ham, cheese, and a perfect sunny side up egg. The owner was super nice! She came over to chat with us before we left and talked about the delicious food, using local ingredients, and having her restaurant in a great spot.
