I can't imagine my life without their care and concern. They were able to help men when western medicine had reached its limits in many aspects of my care. I would say, one of the most poignant moments of my care management was when Dr. Paterson cured me of debilitating low back pain, of which I suffered from for over 15 years. The pain ended my modern dance career due to a car accident. I literally would go completely blind and experience shock like sensations up and down my legs from the compression in my spine. I used to crawl from the bathroom to the bedroom after work, and I couldn't even bend over the sink to brush my teeth without my knees buckling to the floor. Western doctors gave me pain killers, MRIs, radiation, and shots in my spine to no avail, other than a case of gastritis from long term use of NSAIDS for the pain. Dr. Paterson diagnosed me in the first visit with a psoaz muscle spasm in my right hip, due to the car accident. After suffering from years of debilitating pain, he cured me in less than two visits! He used a technique called manual therapy in conjunction with acupuncture and I have hardly suffered since. I think I had two more minor episodes over the next two years, which Dr. Paterson addressed. Since then, I have not exhibited those symptoms, at all, unless I do something unusual. It is so rare that I don't even think about it anymore, and I can work it out myself with a little stretching. It has been about 15 years since he treated me for the psaos muscle spasm. Dr. Paterson's acupuncture abilities combined with his knowledge of eastern medicine, and manual therapy is a highly unique skill set. It's no coincidence that Artemisia Botanicals was named to a recent Yelp blog of the top 25 herbal shops in the USA! I was immediately captivated by the walls and walls of teas, oils, essences, candles, herbs, spices, incense, tinctures, salves, soaps and more. Whatever you need to enhance your spiritual practice, they carry here. One of the things that surprised me was how deep commercialization of witchcraft had hit Salem. However, Artemisia is the real deal and fully unaffected by the deep capitalism otherwise running rampant through the city. They in no way are sacrificing their authenticity, quality or commitment to the community. One of my main goals while visiting Salem was to have a tea leaf reading...and I was absolutely blown away by the tea leaf reading I received here! It really empowered my desire to want to learn more about it.
