    Specials for the day

You walk in music is playing, there's a few TVs over the bar. Everyone was a little confused as there was a rush. There is enough seating to me comfortable. There are specials like a bacon wrapped corn dog. I also ordered fried pickles. Hope they are good . So the fried pickles came, I don't know if I would buy them again they're OK but you only get five pieces for $10. I always look at how good service is. That and food make you come back. Every staff member checks on you here. They all help each other. Usually I get a waiter or waitress that will say since I'm not their customer they will get my waiter, not here. Good service !

Not for locals, but a good spot overall. You know your are in a tourist zone when the first question is where are you from. The staff was very friendly though and we really enjoyed the visit. We order the queso Blanco with pork rinds. It was okay queso, but not up to the standard of what we are used to. Perfect for tourists who can't stand any spice. The Wedge salad was pretty basic. Not many toppings, but the chicken we added was fresh and juicy. Overall we won't be back unless we just wanted some beers and maybe some wings. We saw those ordered and they looked delicious.

Stopped in after our visit to the 6th Floor Museum. The place was nearly empty, so we got undivided attention from our server. Food arrived quickly and nicely prepared. Peach burger had an ample amount of blue cheese. The Fritos on the chili burger added a satisfying crunch. Fish tacos were very spicy. Highly recommend the saloon's signature drink- a lovely mix of apple brandy lemon juice and grenadine. The atmosphere was welcoming, but very "quiet" in the late afternoon.

Wanted to get away from the overpriced downtown Dallas meals. Found Jack Ruby's and I'm glad I did. The building is amazing with live music on the weekends. Friendly wait staff and super quick service. The menu has great options and everyone left with a full belly!

A great little place to visit next to the sixth floor museum. Food was typical bar food but tasty. The service was fine.

Came here after a long day in class, the breakfast is pretty good. Straight to the point options, and it didn't take long for it to come out. I had a bug in mimosas but my waitress was super sweet, got me a fresh clean glass, new drink without any complaints lol. I do want to come here later in the evening to check out the vibes.

My sister and I were looking for a place to have a bite to eat after visiting the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum. This place fit the bill just around the corner a block or two away. It wasn't too busy on a Saturday afternoon and we had our choice of seating in the open establishment. I opted for the crispy chicken sandwich w/ tater tots and my sister got the crispy taco plate. We were both pleased with our selections. Our server and bartender was very attentive. They had a huge selection of beers and cocktails including NA. My sister got the mystery beer and a shot of Fireball for $6. She got 3 guesses but couldn't guess the draft beer. Never did find out because apparently they have a NDA but it was good so she had another. Nice covered enclosed outdoor patio area with picnic tables with a section for smoking. A band was scheduled to perform but they were just getting there when we left. It's a fun little spot for that area.

Their burger and tots is the best in town. I hear it is the Kentucky UK alumni bar as well. Great staff and easy parking!

great food . The Hummel Bros. hot dog is the best in DFW. The bologna sandwich is a better version of the ones my Aunt use to make.

We got a cheeseboard, but if I had to recommend one thing, definitely the fried mushrooms if you like mushrooms. They're huge and the spicy cilantro sour cream sauce is killer! We sat in the indoor/outdoor area, which was my fave. It can take a minute to flag someone down when it's busy, but that felt understandable for how busy they were. Easy place to settle into and lose track of time a bit--just drinks, conversation, and good food without overthinking it.

The Guinness is poured so perfectly it should be in the Louvre. The bartender, Austin (I'm pretty sure that's his real name and not just what he tells customers), has the patience of a saint and the sarcasm of a man who's been asked "Do you have anything like Guinness but less dark?" one too many times. Highlights: The fish & chips were so good I briefly considered converting to Catholicism just so I could thank God properly. The bathroom graffiti is poetic. "Roses are red, violets are blue, I came for a piss and met half the crew." - actual quote. Then you've got Hannah, who's basically the pub's chaos coordinator. She's got blonde hair that could guide ships in a fog and a laugh that echoes like a banshee having a great time. Don't sleep on Wes - He'll nod once, slide you your drink, and if you're lucky, mutter something profound like "Life's short, drink good stout." Then he disappears to polish glasses like he's auditioning for a monastery. Absolute mystery man, 10/10 enigma. And rounding out the crew is Paige, the wildcard. She's got stories that start with "Back in then..." and end with police chases, lost sheep, and at least one exploding still. She'll flirt with your grandma, roast your ex in three sentences or less. There is also this Asian guy that looks like a confused troll with blonde hair. He lives up to the saying once you go Asian it's amasian. Can't forget the blonde girl that's going through the Dallas legacy transition of bottle service to real estate. Shes as good at serving as she is selling real estate. These people run the bar like a well-oiled dysfunctional family. They banter with each other louder than the jukebox, remember birthdays you forgot you told them, and have an unspoken code: if you're having a rough night, they'll slide you a free shot and pretend it was a mistake. If you're being a gobshite, they'll roast you into next week without missing a pour.

OMG! What a fabulous experience at Manhattan Project Brewery!…read more We walked in honestly looking like newbies. You can sit anywhere but need to order everything at the bar. Tables on the inside will have menus as well at the bar and counter/order space. Amazing water (regular & sparkling) on the left side. The guys got some great beer choices -- "Half-Life" and the Honey Lager (Jason did a great job not remembering exactly what he ordered ), and I got the tres leches latte which was SO good. We came starving and lucked out because they were serving brunch on this fine Sunday -- y'all... the food here was AMAZING. Jason got the breakfast tacos and they looked incredible. I ordered the American breakfast and devoured every bite. Fluffy pancakes, perfectly seasoned potatoes, delicious avocado spread, and eggs that were somehow extra fluffy and flavorful. The place ended up getting crazy busy, which honestly says a lot. Great atmosphere, amazing food and drinks, and definitely somewhere we'd come back to. Pet friendly outside only, and super family friendly. 6 months pregnant myself, and saw maybe 4+ other babies/kids and other pregnant ladies. So fun! I just got the burger as it came, it seemed like it would be good as is. And it was! Had a spicy kick as you'd expect. It was very busy when I was there so there was a bit of a wait for orders to be taken and for the food to come out however, again, it was pretty packed so I'm not gonna begrudge anyone some delays when things are busy.
