I've become more confident, especially at work, and I've been able to recognize strengths in myself that I didn't always see before. Since my diagnosis, I've even gotten promoted, which is something I'm really proud of. I feel like I'm finally learning how to work with my brain instead of constantly fighting against it. Dr. Ahmadi listens, understands, and has helped me feel more confident in myself and what I'm capable of. I'm genuinely thankful for the support and guidance I've received.

Each time that I spoke with her on each one of my appointments she offered me a refill, but I told her I didn't need one at that time because I still had some left. But when I notified them that I wanted to change Doctors because I was not comfortable with her they told me I could still get a refill since I was down to only two and I would need them and I couldn't see the new doctor for a month. So I called and asked for a few more just to make sure I had them so I can take them "as needed" or just have them in case I need them until I see the next doctor and even though she offered me refills several times she denied giving me a refill once she knew that I wasn't going to use her anymore and told me to just go ahead and go to the emergency room if I needed help. When she knows very well that the emergency room is not necessary for panic attacks. But the medication helps. It was basically her FU to me and retaliatory. Because she was mad that I was not going to want to use her anymore so she has decided that she was not going to give me a refill and basically told me to F off and go to the hospital if I needed help. Mind you that in 74 days of having the medication I only took eight. But she basically treated me as if I was some sort of pill seeker that just wanted more and more pills. When really in reality she knows very well that I'm just trying to make sure that I don't have to go to the hospital every single day and spend thousands of dollars at the hospital for panic attack attacks. She's very cruel and dismissive

Before him, I had experiences where I felt like I had to fight to be heard, rush through concerns, or only share the "important" symptoms because I worried the provider didn't have time for the rest. That kind of environment makes it hard to be vulnerable or honest. With Dr. Tran, it's the complete opposite. For the first time, I feel like I can say everything without needing to filter or edit myself. He listens to the full story, even when I'm rambling, anxious, or unsure how to articulate what l'm feeling. He doesn't interrupt. He doesn't rush me along. He doesn't jump to conclusions. He lets me speak in my own pace and my own way. Then, once I'm finished, he reflects back what he heard - not in a robotic way, but in a way that makes it clear he truly understood what I meant, not just what I said. That level of careful listening has helped me open up more than I ever have in mental health treatment. There have been sessions where I walked in overwhelmed, on the verge of tears, or feeling completely lost. He never looks uncomfortable or impatient. He stays calm, grounded, and steady, gently guiding me through the conversation until I can breathe again and see things clearly. That kind of support has been invaluable. And when I have questions -- whether about symptoms, medications, or even just the emotional experience of what I'm going through -- he answers them thoroughly and thoughtfully. Never rushed. Never dismissive. Never acting like I should already know the answer. I always leave appointments feeling more informed, more grounded, and more seen. Because I finally feel truly heard, my progress has accelerated dramatically. I'm able to share things I've held in for years, and that honesty has transformed the way I understand myself. I can't express how rare and meaningful that experience has been.

So many clinicians focus only on symptom checklists: sleep, appetite, energy, mood rating, anxiety level. But they overlook the deeper layers that drive those symptoms. Dr. Tran does the opposite. He understands that mental health is connected to everything: relationships, identity, stress, physical health, past experiences, lifestyle, trauma, even daily habits. And he weaves all of those layers into treatment in a way that feels seamless and supportive.   He asks about what's happening at work, at home, socially, emotionally, physically. Not out of curiosity, but because he understands how interconnected each part of life is. He notices patterns between sleep, stress, mood, and behavior. He helps me understand how certain environments impact me or how certain habits influence my energy. His holistic approach isn't just psychological. It's practical. He encourages healthy routines, grounding techniques, boundaries, coping strategies, scheduling adjustments, and lifestyle shifts that actually fit into my life. None of it feels overwhelming or unrealistic. He explains why each change matters and how it supports the bigger picture. Because he treats me as a whole person, I've noticed improvements far beyond my initial symptoms. My confidence is higher. My energy is better. My daily functioning has improved. I feel more balanced emotionally and more capable mentally. Working with him has shown me what psychiatric care should be: not just symptom management, but true whole-person healing.

Instead he just said take a seat while he hides behind a huge computer. ...you could barely see his face behind the machine. It reminded me of the Wizard of Oz when the Wizard was hiding behind the curtain! His office needs to be completely redesigned. IT is not conducive to having a relaxed conversation. The room needs a long couch with two small ottomans. He should have a comfortable chair off to the side working on a laptop not hiding behind a massive computer. I am sure whoever designed the room charged him a pretty penny...but they obviously had no idea on how to make a client feel comfortable. I asked him a couple of basic questions and he said"why do you ask"? The girls in the front office were very friendly and accommodating. However, unfortunately I am not able to return or recommend this practice. Lastly, I don't believe he even reviewed my file before the visit as he asked me for the reason for my visit which he should have known ahead of my visit.

You provided a 2-day support program for families through Tim Arrigo CADC-II and being part of the session felt like we'd been given a year's worth of understanding and perspective in just a short time. It was truly life-saving for us--like someone throwing us a lifeline just when we needed it most. Thank you for the compassion, clarity, and hope you offered. We left feeling supported, grounded, and far less alone. What you're doing makes a profound difference, and we are so thankful. Shout out to Shaun and Tim Arrigo, CADC-II

The person doing my "intake" asked me which program I was here for - I told him nobody told me and shouldn't he know?? The admissions person I spoke with over the phone said I would have "chef made meals". I was dropped off at a Vons with a $75 gift card to buy groceries for the week. As someone with a dual diagnosis, this was incredibly misleading and resulted in me not eating for 24 hours. The same admissions person said "the home i would be in would have shared rooms, but plenty of bathrooms". I arrived to the house which had 1 bathroom shared among 7 women. Sadly my time here only lasted 18 hours due to the fact that what was described to me over the phone was the exact opposite of what i walked into. Don't waste your time here. "House manager" or any WWR employee was not at the home I was assigned to when I arrived. It was 4 hours later that she showed up and was using her vape as a pointer while showing me the house rules. Not a single person here was professional or helpful - they just want your money. Bedspread on my bed was also COVERED in stains upon my arrival.
