Throughout the years, no matter what car needed servicing and no matter how daunting the job, the mechanics at Complete Auto have always provided exceptional service, responded quickly, and gone the extra mile. Recently, they even managed to get both of my cars ready for summer and emissions testing under a time crunch. I had a bad experience at the shop on Feb 17,2026 I stop by the shop to get a simple tire sensor…read morefor my back tire they fixed the flat and added a sensor, the problem was when they put the sensor on the mechanic could not get the tire symbol off my dashboard so I ask him not to try anymore because I said to myself if he can not get it off and keep trying he's going to mess up something and as soon as I went to work that evening I started my car on one of my breaks I had three more symbols lightning up on the dash board and they were lights for my breaking system so right now the lights are still on because am scared to let a different mechanic mess with it but I'm going to take it back to Chicago to let my regular mechanic fix it and by the way I received a text from them saying that they hope the experience was OK and I wrote on the text back that it wasn't so good thinking they would ask why but no more question to the service am not saying its a bad place to get your car fixed but the experience I had was not a good one

A Friday after 7, all our "usual" tire places were closed! Panicked, we searched for late night or 24 hour tire repair. It's right in the name!!! They answered the call right away. They were super communicative with my son, and also with me (I'm sure I was being a little "extra" since I was a little worried to begin with!) They were (unfortunately) unable to patch the tire, but had an appropriate one in stock to replace it, so my son was safely on his way in just a couple hours. We ran into a repair issue and the dealer had our vehicle on and off for months and still could not fix the problem. They misdiagnosed several times and used up our warranty and charged us out of pocket cost only for our engine light to return. My mother recommended Robert's shop before she moved so I decided to take my chances and I am so happy I did. I requested that he remove the bolt, drain the fluid and replace it. He said it was something he could do. So I waited inside to talk to the boss who happened to be on the phone. It was pretty busy so I was told to wait about an hour. The mechanic who took the bolt out was dedicated. He did a great job. Very thorough. Good mechanic. I give him 5 stars. I was shocked at how low the bill was. I expected it to be much more.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP! I went in for a system cooling flush and thermostat. I get my car back and…read moreit runs hot as soon as I went around the block (NEVER did that before) looked in my coolant it's full of dirty foam and my AC wasn't working and it worked great when I dropped it off. They told me to bring it back, they did another flush and it still ran hot looked in the coolant NO COOLANT. I was told to pull over and turn car off whenever it runs hot by the mechanic (LIKE REALLY!!) keep in mind I had already got a full diagnostic so I knew what needed to be fixed. Took it to VW shop and they said American Muffler screwed up my car they broke my water pump, radiator, thermostat was never fixed, they used stop leaked, among other problems. I wish I never cheated on my mechanic cause $440 cost me $5,000 in repairs and a new engine. I was told they WERE NOT CERTIFIED TO WORK ON FOREIGN CARS and they're known for screwing people over. I took to social media and I'm glad I saved a few people from going there and heard many horror stories about this shop. I would hate for someone to go through what I did. And the mechanic knew he messed up my car you could see it all over his face and for the squidward gonzo nose lady at the front desk pretending to jump over the counter like you were going to do something I wish to God you would have cause I would have got my $money$ worth out of kicking yo ass!!!! The shop took pictures and everyone is telling me I should sue them and I'm really considering especially when I have the full diagnosis before I gave it to them vs how they gave it back. If you want to find a good shop GO TO USA MUFFLER 814 E Ridge Rd Griffith IN. They always fix my vehicles correctly and they're certified I wish I would have taken my car there like I usually do.
