They take the time, if you ask, to provide very valuable advice. The counter clerks are mostly temps so are not knowledgeable. But the folks in the office and in the yard have been extremely helpful over the years. They are trimmed and look super happy (new growth with dozens leaves are burst to open). When I dropped them off; part of the leaves are dried since I wasn't able to deliver them right away after they were taken out. This is the reason that this place exist-because the volunteers passionate and know how to take care of the plants. I witness how they nurse the plants that I gave away. This must be love. For most people; these plants are unwanted and would end up in compost. They group them together with the same species in the table for sale. They price the smaller one $4.50 and 2 of the mediums $10/ each. Come and support this business. Everyone would benefit; whether you are giving away plants or buying.
