Pretty quiet coffee shop. It's small inside. It's a coffee shop, so don't come here expecting to eat breakfast or lunch because this isn't the place for that. It's a place to drink coffee and maybe get some work done if you work remotely.

While out and about exploring in West Palm Beach I found this coffee shop. I am always in need of afternoon caffeinated refreshment so I decided to stop and I am so glad I did because this place is a hidden gem. Composition Coffee was founded in 2019 by Joshua Korman as a pop-up espresso bar in the now-closed Elizabeth Ave Station. Their current location in Industry Alley opened in 2021. Walking up to Composition Coffee you go through their outdoor patio where you can sit at tables. Inside is industrial chic which channels the former warehouse that this used to be. Hanging plants and exposed brick bring add charm to the otherwise sterile interior. Food & Wine has listed Composition Coffee as one of the best coffee houses in Florida. They are particularly known for their matcha sourced directly from Japan and prepared using traditional techniques. When ordering they will share their expertise about coffee types, brewing methods, and where they source their beans. Specialty roasts are available via AeroPress, pour-over, cold brew, and espresso. Drinks are prepared using a specialty reverse osmosis water profile to deliver each beans beans flavor notes like chocolate, caramel, and fruit. Korman considers himself a scientist who is always working to present each coffee at its peak flavor. I ordered a London Fog cookie, made with Earl Grey tea with bergamot oil. It was my first time trying this flavor and it added a floral, citrusy tea taste to the cookie. It paired perfectly with an iced latte which i enjoyed in their cozy loft area. While I am not a coffee expert, whether experienced or novice, they will prepare you a delicious beverage.

We went to check out this new coffee shop. It has a nice clean atmosphere. The servers were friendly. The iced cafe latte was great, along with the two cookies. A fair amount of parking. They have an upstairs section for extra seats, which makes good use of their space.

This coffee shop came highly recommended to us by locals while visiting WPB, and it did not disappoint! Beautiful interior & coffee bar with an upper level with additional seating. We were able to catch their holiday menu specials and got the eggnog cortado which was just perfection. I could have drank two more. We enjoyed the cozy sofa upstairs while admiring the busy baristas from above. The parking lot is small & tight but we were able to score a spot. We'd definitely come back here the next time we're in the area.

Cute little spot to relax at, have a coffee date, or do a little work from. The staff are very friendly and easy going, and helpful. Had a matcha latte with vanilla and honey, and it was the perfect level of sweetness. Also had a matcha brownie (honestly I have no idea what that is, but it was nice and dense which I liked, although a bit pricey at $7+) Good place to hang at and a cool looking aesthetic too. As for price, I guess you'd expect it for Palm Beach, but still probably would've liked to see each (drinks and food) be around 1-2$ cheaper to be an overall all in win. No issues and nothing stood out as particularly amazing or negative, no big deterrent or pill so overall: solid and safe spot - would recommend checking out if you're in the area and are looking for somewhere to roam to casually.

Composition is located in downtown West Palm Beach by a delicious taco shop and an adorable record store. In my opinion I liked the seating options here. You could sit outside on their patio or upstairs in a loft-like area. However the cubby area tucked in the back was extremely uncomfortable for long term sitting. I had come here to study, and while I could find a seat, I could not find many places to plug in my laptop, which became kind of frustrating around the end of the day. Ironically, the cubby area had the most places to plug-in, but it was so uncomfortable that I ended up finding a table and balancing my laptop, so that I could get my cord to reach an outlet behind me at a table. I also thought it pertinent to warn everyone reading that I got a classic iced vanilla latte and it was over $10. No special milk and no other flavors.

I recently came here and ordered a vanilla iced latte. The employees were very friendly and kept the line moving. They have indoor and outdoor seating with a cool loft, which I've never seen before in a coffee shop. This is definitely a more classic coffee shop as they don't do fancy flavors.

This coffee shop is in a great location in West Palm Beach. The loft seating was very unique, it's the first time I've seen that in a coffee shop. They have indoor and outdoor seating, along with a parking lot shared with other businesses. I do wish they had more flavors to choose from, as they didn't have caramel. Other than that, I enjoyed the vanilla latte and will return.

Came here with a friend due to all the good reviews we saw. My takeaway is that everything here is just okay. My friend ordered an iced matcha, which she left half unfinished as she didn't like it. I tried it as well and I'd have to agree. The matcha was still very bitter despite her asking them to sweeten it with honey. She did like her croissant. I ordered the matcha brownie which was very mild in taste and a bit on the dry side. I also got an iced latte, which was alright. I'm picky with coffee and I wouldn't say the flavor stood out to me enough to make a return here since it was an about 25 min drive. If I lived 5 minutes away maybe. The actual coffee shop was absolutely packed. Lots of dogs. We were able to find a spot upstairs and we hung around there for about an hour on our laptops. Always appreciate when there's spots where you can enjoy your coffee and have free wifi, so kudos to the owner for that.

Their coffee in pictures looks very promising, I always look for lattes that are darker in color so I know it's a lot stronger or more of a coffee taste than milk. They have a shared parking lot and street parking as well. The place looks really aesthetically pleasing they have a small upstairs lounge and offer patio. I like how there were a few options of espressos we can choose from. We got the monte espresso latte, one with coconut syrup and one with vanilla. I like how they measure their syrups by oz/g then pumps. They were very accommodating when I ask for 6grams of coconut syrup. Coffee was really good! Really strong coffee taste. Loved the vanilla latte but not a fan of the coconut but I would definitely come back again cause their coffee isn't water down or milky.

Composition is my favorite coffee shop in Florida. It's so good that I'm willing to wake up at 6 a.m. and drive 50 minutes just to be there when they open (and I actually do that). The coffee is outstanding and actually tastes like the famous Community Goods coffee from LA. I love the artisanal ceramic cups they use--it adds so much to the experience. Their decaf coffee amazed me; it's so flavorful that it doesn't feel like a compromise at all. I also appreciate the quality of their pastries--so many coffee shops have pastries just for the sake of it, but here, they're actually delicious. The passion fruit kouign-amann blew my mind, and the almond croissant is stunning! Atmosphere-wise, it's my number one coffee shop. It's so peaceful, with comfortable couches and a second floor where you feel separated from the rest of the world. It's so cozy that people come here to spend the whole day working--which is both a blessing and a curse lol. I also come here to read sometimes, but if you're just trying to have your coffee, you might get pissed that all the seats are taken. I recommend Composition to literally everyone--including you, my fellow reader.

This was my third time there this week because their iced vanilla lattes with oat milk are perfection. You can really taste the espresso without the oat milk and vanilla being overbearing. Also, I like that they only give you two choices of milks. Oat or organic whole milk. It makes the decision making process way easier! They serve their dine in iced lattes in beautiful glass cups and their hot lattes in these beautiful pottery looking mugs. They have bamboo straws, which are way more durable than paper. YES, there are countless other establishments with Espresso on the menu, but truly high quality high end Espresso in Palm Beach County, this place is at the top. Wonderful to see a great addition to the West Palm Beach coffee scene! Composition Coffee definitely leans towards the specialty side of things and serves niche audience of coffee connoisseurs. The owner Joshua is very serious about his craft and super friendly. They have great prices and strong selection of craft beer and wine. It's located right inside the Elizabeth Ave Station so it's a great atmosphere and there's lots of good seating. I look forward to returning. read more

First off, this place actually knows what a cortado is. The same cannot be said for the other coffee shops in WPB. For those of you looking for the best coffee place in WPB, look no further (even their drip coffee is delicious). I tried many of the 'top' coffee places in the area including Pumphouse, Subculture, Chik Monk (or something along those lines), etc. and all were beyond underwhelming (try Pumphouse's cold brew if you truly want to understand mediocrity). Composition is well-executed and it restored my faith in good coffee shops after those other experiences. read more

Loved! People working there/customer service - beyond nice coffee- sooo good, I got a fall latte and I usually don't like coffee people going there - both for work and to meet, I liked it because there were a lot of people who were young and I'm young, but also people of all ages who came there to work/grab a coffee ambience/place - great place to hang out, work, anything, they also have an outdoor area and their wifi is great Will definitely come back again and again! read more

On a recent trip to West Palm Beach, I discovered his amazing coffee shops. Whenever I go on vacation, I always look for cool, local coffee shops. Since West Palm Beach has only a few local/independent coffee shops, finding Composition Coffee House is like finding a real diamond in the ruff. I liked it so much, I want their twice even though I was only in West Palm Beach for a total of five days (including travel days). First, the coffee is great. On my first trip there, I ordered an oat milk latte. It was creamy and smooth. On my second trip, I ordered a cold brew. I took the coffee black, and it still was smooth and delicious. Second, it's current physical space is so cool (warning: I was told they will be moving locations soon). It is part of a space called Elizabeth Ave Station. It is an open, warehouse space that also houses a record store and a vintage shop. The only criticism is that it is very lacking in food. The two times I went, they had had a very limited selection of baked goods available. It's still a great place to grab a coffee and chill on one their vintage chairs. This is a must go coffeeshop at its current location or it's new one. read more

Composition is such a unique place! Not only are their drinks exceptional--high quality without shortcuts--but the spirit there is embracing. It's truly a warm, uplifting community that draws people in. I just love going there, hanging out, and seeing what conversations and friendships will emerge. Really would like to have loved this place because I live in the neighborhood and I'm a coffee addict. However, i was charged over $9 for the worst iced dirty chai ever! Where do you come up with these prices? over $9 for a small drink is ridiculous, even if it was decent, which is wasn't. I hope you guys can work out the pricing kinks. read more

Very nice and friendly environment. A bit pricey ($5-$6 for a Vanilla Latte in what appeared to be 8-10oz cup). The vanilla flavor was nicely subtle and not overly sweet like your typical franchise place (I.e. Starbucks & Dunkin'). Food selection when I went was simply just a cookie. No pastries. No breakfast sandwiches. read more

I have never liked coffee until composition! They really do it right and hold their standards high! I'm big on quality and clean ingredients. They hold that standard higher than ever! The coffee is truly delicious! The shop itself has a stylish and inviting vibe, and everyone behind the counter seems like they went to some sort of coffee school. They definitely know how to brew the berries to perfection. The teas are great too! This is also a wonderful place to get some work done on the laptop. It has outdoor seating and the inside of this converted warehouse is furnishes with small tables and chairs, plants galore, and the most comfortable couch. highly recommend! read more

Very subtle flavor and a nasty burnt after taste. Highly disappointed when you spend over 20 bucks on 2 coffees and a snack. No wonder the Delray location is shutting down.
