Looking for a professional Optometrist I came across Dr. Jason Compton's name on another reference list, where all the reviews for his practice were 5 Stars reviews in all aspects. I thought it looked too god to be true. So I came to YELP to make sure that the people writing these reviews were legitimate, and what you know. There he was, again, with all 5 Stars reviews all around. I made the call, and was lucky to be given an appointment on the same afternoon to see Dr. Compton. Needless to say that I went there with high expectations. After being cordially and friendly received by the lovely receptionist, I filled out some forms and was promptly called by Dr. Compton to go to exams room. Dr. Compton took his time to guide me through the entire process, explaining to me step by step what was being done and the importance of each one of them. He was very polite, extremely professional, patient and accommodating with my questions and doubts. I have to say in conclusion that I left the place very happy to have made that choice to go see him and, that my "high expectations" were surpassed by tons. I highly recommend Compton Eye Associates to anyone who needs to see a very knowledgeable Doctor, working in a very nice and friendly environment. I was recommended to this clinic by a friend, I took my then 4yr old here to get her first check up back in 2019. The pediatric doctor was amazing she made my daughter feel comfortable and was very patient with her. Since they have a great selection of glasses for kids, my daughter enjoyed picking out her own pair. Every appointment for my daughter since the initial one has been quick and easy. My experiences with them have been so pleasant that when I recently lost my glasses I knew this was the place to go. Today was my first appointment. As soon as I arrived I was given a few forms to compete and was seen right after. I then picked the pair I wanted and was out the door. All this took about an hour. What I love about this place Is how modern and clean everything is compared to the previous clinic I had been to. Also all the staff at here is much more efficient and willing to help than those at my previous provider. The front desk staff are always super nice and extremely professional. The doctors are very knowledgeable and always take the time to answer all of any questions during the visit. I would recommend this clinic to anyone. read more

Compton Eye Associates is absolutely great including the staffs and the doctor himself. I have been getting my eyes checked with Dr. Compton for over a year now and do not plan on changing doctors anytime soon. He's helped me understand al, my eye examinations and prescriptions. Today I happen to go walk into get new contacts because I lost mine a couple of weeks ago and to check out for a new pair of frames. Amazingly, I was lucky enough to get a new eye examination and my brand new contacts on the spot. Like how awesome is that! The staff was a great help while trying to pick out my new frames. They intenfed to upsell a lot like they did not carry the exact frames i was looking for which is great customer servicing in my eyes. Although, I did not get to find the frames I wanted, they did ensure I would to back just by telling me that if I find them with the model number they are able to order them for me as long as it's one of the brands they carry of course. I first came to Compton eye associates when my sister recommended to have an exam after she found out they took our insurance. When I got there everyone seemed very friendly and attendant. I usually don't switch doctors or make my regular exams but I willing to Madeline at from was very helpful in looking up my insurance and letting me know that I could see the doctor and get glasses. The technician Luz was very nice she took me to the back and read my prescription then let me know that I could get a picture taken of the back of my eye instead of a dilation for $39. When she took me to Dr Compton I was skeptical because he looked young, but he impressed me with knowledge. He spoke to me in Spanish, but still dilated me because of diabetes. There optician Selah is great he explained my benefits to me and showed the insurance frames... which I never get. He wanted me to get a backup so I got an insurance frame and a really nice Gucci frame with my care credit card. Great experience + great doctor + great staff = lifetime patient read more

I came to the office earlier today because I was in desperate need for new lenses. I have always had bad experiences in the past,so I didn't expect much. I wanted to get my lenses from whoever was there and keep it moving. I am writing this post because I was thoroughly impressed with my overall experience. Upon walking in I was greated by the front desk. She was quick to tell me that my exam wasn't covered by insurance, but she was equally as helpful in discussing my options. The tech that worked me up was no exception. She took her time preparing me for the doctor. She was very good at helping me define my problems in order to explain everything to the doctor. AMAZING! And then there was Dr. Compton. He was so patient. I know it was as just a contact lens exam, but I really felt like he cared about what I was choosing. This place is amazing. I have already told my entire family and all my friends. The entire staff is top notch. I am happy to say I finally found my eye doctor. read more

Just got my CRT contact lenses, basically they are contacts lenses that you wear at sleep and when you wake up you take them off and your vision should be 20/20. ( I know!! I did not know the technology existed as well lol) They worked perfectly for me. I'm very pleased with the work at Eye Compton and the costumer service, I really felt at home. The office is very clean, they have the most advance technology, and when Dr. Compton treats you he takes his time, and he offers more options than just wearing glasses to treat your problem, in my case MYOPIA. There is also this young ,charismatic and amazing girl Andrea, who also helped me in the process of my treatment. The front girls at desk also amazing girls, but most importantly they do an amazing job. This is not a typical eye doctor office where you walk in and 10 mins later they are trying to sale you glasses without giving you other offers to treat your problem to make it better. I absolutely love the staff in the front desk. Andrea is a sweetheart and she helped me pick out the best eye glasses for me with honest opinions, which is all anyone can ask for when getting glasses. They also prioritize COVID-19 safety with temperature checks, hand sanitizer and masks. Shamika and Madelyn were very kind to me and everyone else who I saw come in. Dr. Compton is the best doctor I've seen so far! He's very knowledgeable in his field, making me confident that I'm getting the best quality of care here. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Compton today he is awesome. He is highly recommended. I had an exam and a contact fitting. He giuded me through the whole process and answered all my questions.(Mind you i had like a thousand questioms that day lol). He is very patient and extremely nice. He told me i had astigmatism .So Mr. Selah had my lenses updated they do great work here and fast. Dr Compton offered me great products to use for a few eye problems. He worked with my budget and he offered me what i could afford and guided me through my options for contacts. The service is great here and the staff are wonderful. I was so pleased to see this business open in our neighborhood! And now I am delighted to say that I am a very satisfied customer. Dr. Compton is a highly educated and experienced optometrist. He is thorough, yet takes the time to answer patient questios and respond to concerns. In the process of determining two eyeglass prescriptions for me ( one for distance and one for reading music) he discovered that I had a condition ( entirely correctable ) somewhat common among cataract surgery patients. The facility and offices are sparkling clean and the entire staff is friendly, patient and helpful. I found their prices very reasonable. First off, very clean and tidy office. I loved the mini fridge in the waiting area. The staff makes you feel right at home and they answered all of my questions thoroughly. They made sure to check my insurance to see if the services could be covered. Everything was well explained to me and there were no hidden fees. Excellent service and atmosphere. The doctor was very friendly and efficient. And the staff is extremely knowledgeable about health insurance policies, rebates being offered by contact lens companies, etc. - so they are always getting you the best deal possible. I actually liked going to the eye doctor! And I've never paid so little for my contact lenses. I made an appointment for my husband too - and he came back with a fabulous and affordable new pair of glasses. I had an amazing experience here!! The front desk ladies Andrea, Shamika, and Madelyn provided great customer service and were able to help me pick out my glasses. I came to Dr. Compton's office about a year ago with my 9 year old. I was very skeptical of going but I had heard many great things about it. Upon arriving the staff were very courteous, patient, understanding, funny, caring, overall the best customer service I've had experienced. On February 19, 2021 me and my boyfriend walked into Compton Eye on Webster Avenue and spoke to Tania M. concerning my glasses. There were no staff available and I really needed my glasses fix. She took it upon herself to service me. She looked at my glasses and repaired my glasses and I was honor for her service.
