This Best Buy location has always seemed like it's lonely. Giant parking lot shared with Mel's,…read moreT-mobile, Little Ceasers, and more... but this location just doesn't seem like it gets enough business. It must though, and how convenient that is for us today! Best Buy offers services like Geek Squad, a 24/7 tech support, virus removal, hardware installation, data backup, and PC tune-ups. Appliance services, cell phone services, recycling programs for your TVs, computers, and cell phones. Customers can book a service through the Best Buy website. My daughter needed a new set of headphones. Something lightweight with noise cancelation. As we walked into the store, we went from super bright sunlight to air conditioned and shade. The headphones were easy to find. They were just beyond the smart watches up front. While she glanced at the headphones, I checked out their smart watches, which were ok to look at, but you couldn't test any of them, so I lost interest quick. Just past those were the headphones. We were able to test a few of them, but most of them weren't hooked up to try. That's where they could've made a bit more money with us... but since we couldn't test those, my daughter decided on the Sony headphones. She felt they were suitable for her jogs and working out. No one was around to really help us out with talking about the perks of each of the headphones. Thankfully, these weren't locked up, as others were. Checking out was a little confusing with all the blue counters everywhere. Their actual check out counter was crammed in the very front in a corner. As I said, from the outside of this store it looks lonely... and the only interaction we really got was at the register and he looked like he didn't want to be there. We weren't offered an extra warranty, just the price of the headphones with tax. When we got home, she put them on right away. She let me try them, too, and they sounded great. We really like the noise cancellation. There is enough bass and not too much. We liked that we got into the store quickly and checked out fast since there was not a line.. After a few more days, she told me they stay on pretty good while she goes to the gym and for her jogs. Definitely worth the $83+tax.

Best Buy is now a champion of crappy customer service! Don't bother shopping there for items , such as, appliances. The delivery service they use is rude and useless. My elderly, disabled, friend who is a veteran was not informed of what might be needed despite the fact that Best Buy sold her multiple accessories. There's just zero customer service and accountability any longer. We just purchased a freezer for our garage and was scheduled to pick it up this Saturday. We had people lined up to assist with setting it up, but suddenly, they won't have one available until next Friday. It seems big business just couldn't give a crap about good customer service any longer Meant to leave ONE STAR

The cashier suggested that I take a photo of the printed passport photo and upload that to the passport website, but unfortunately, that didn't work. Today, I stopped by the Staples in Auburn and was greeted by Wesley. I explained what had happened in Vacaville, and he immediately let me know that I had been given incorrect information. Wesley went above and beyond--he took the time to call the Vacaville store, arrange a refund for me, and make sure I received the proper digital passport photo I needed. The level of customer service Wesley provided is rare these days. He was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely interested in making sure the problem was resolved. What had been a frustrating experience turned into a great one because of him. Wesley truly saved the day. Staples is lucky to have him. Thank you, Wesley!

Next to it is a pack of five individually wrapped 100 packs of lined index cards Cost $4.99. Let's do the math folks $.85 times 5 =$4.25. Why would I pay you $4.99 if I buy them individually it's only $4.25. I mentioned it to the representative as I was paying for my items and his response was oh well wow... Wow, sorry I don't make the pricing around here. What I was expecting was something more like, let me notify my manager, and we can get that fixed. But I guess you'll get what you pay for with respect to employees as well. Watch out people Staples is inter ripping you off.

If you need anything else, I'd go elsewhere…read more I was told that my computer would take a couple of days, and that this would be a fixing of the computer - as in maintaining my programs - not a reformat / system recovery via the computer manufacturer's recovery discs. Well, instead of a day or two, it was about three or four days before they even looked at it. They couldn't fix it, and instead reformatted and ran the recovery discs -- something that frankly, I could've done on my own. Also - it was about three weeks until the system crashed again, and ended up at a different shop for repair. Beyond all this, when I would call, I was given an attitude. In fact, when I went to pick it up, I was addressed by a rude comment, "Oh, so you're the FAMOUS Mr. Myers." Really? Incredibly rude, and the woman having the audacity to say that after charging me a hefty amount and doing a not-so hot job on the computer - crazy. Again, they did do some data recovery for me on a few crapped out hard drives, and that was OK, which is why they avoided the one star review. That said, I wouldn't go there again -- look through my other reviews to see where I found that did a better job, faster, and cheaper.
