I was so glad I discovered Allen @Computer Direct Wholesale, while screening for the best tech to fix my HP laptop. Twice I had issues with my laptop hardware - first it was battery & power unit and the second time it was from my own mishandling, a loss of wifi, display hinge coming loose etc. Each time I felt like giving it up for a new machine, and then deciding to give Allen @Computer Direct a call and run it by him. Allen meticulously assessed the issues and decides if it's reparable by him or not. Once he thinks it is reparable and he accepts the work, my confidence went up. Allen promptly setup an appointment to meet up, to pick up the unit and provided an approximate estimate when he could get to work on it. And when he got to it, he would update me with the state of the unit discussing what he discovered the problem to be and what needs to be done to fix it. Based on parts availability he would provide the estimates for price and date of completion. Both times he delivered the finished work just as estimated. I wish I could put negative 5 stars. I had this company create a web page for me. To start off, all verbiage was broken English on every page. The "contact us" was going to some unknown email address and not the company email. Same pic on multiple pages. The list goes on and on. Now supposedly we have been hacked and our website is down. They want me to pay $1000 dollars to repair and maintain the website. There is nothing to maintain. I have put all my faith in them and been let me down over and over. I have a Mutoh RJ900X that I was having issues with. I could not find anyone that would help me fix it. No one works on Mutoh printers... I reached out to Allen and he offered to send his technician John to take a look at it and see if he could help me out. John came out to our shop , worked with Mutoh's tech support and was able to help me get my Mutoh fixed. I greatly appreciated Allen and John's willingness to help me with my printer issue, even thought they don't typically work on Mutoh printers. They were awesome to work with. Alan replaced the cracked screen on my Essential PH-1 phone. I had my own replacement kit ordered from Amazon. He installed it the same day and it is just like new. He also installed a screen protector I supplied free of charge. Good service on that. On another item, Alan charged me an inspection fee to diagnose a broken external USB. The diagnosis was that it could not be fixed easily and would require expensive data recovery services. I chose not to get the recovery services. My only concern was that I did not get a written report showing what diagnostics were performed to test the USB drive. That would have merited the full 5 stars. read more

Even though I didnt have the opportunity to use their services, i'm a happy camper because of the response I received. I contacted Computer Direct Wholesale because I thought a virus had infected my computer and wiped all of the files, but fortunately the files were just hidden by the virus. It, was a Saturday afternoon and I was informed that they will be open again on Monday and that i should contact them at that time. In the mean time, I got in touch with a few of my computer geek friends and they helped me solve the problem. On Monday, I had completely forgotten about the issue, but Fardad called me and asked me if everything was OK. I was impressed by his follow-up. I got my laptop back IN PIECES and he claimed the entire hard drive was bad and he was replacing it for $250.... I told him that cant be possible.
