I think I got ripped off. Hear me out first. I took my computer in to have two things checked out, the hinge and the battery because I'm having to leave my laptop plugged in for use. The employee that assisted me said he'll fix the hinge and give me a call back later that day about the battery situation. A whole week went by and no phone call, so I called them back. I explained my situation to the employee and he said he was completely oblivion about the situation/information of my laptop, so he said he'll look into it and call me back. He called be back and said the hinge is fixed but the battery will have to be ordered. A couple of days went by and I called. The employee first said its not the battery that's the problem, it's the motherboard.....SAY WHAT!!!! I told him I'll keep managing my laptop, when can I come to pick it up? He said I can come later today, we close at 6. So I went to pick it up and he told me that the battery was the problem and that he replaced it. So I asked him that I won't have to keep it plugged in to stay on? He said yes. I paid and left. As soon as I got home, I turned the computer on and it started to flicker, as if it's about to die but the battery is fully charged. It has been 16 days since my laptop got "fixed" and I still have to leave it plugged in to use it. I'm not sure what he "fixed" but I think I got ripped off! read more

So I went here for a new hard-drive because the old one had fried. They fixed it and I paid and left. Well I noticed when I got home my laptop no longer would charge! The laptop eventually ran out of battery and the charging light wouldn't even come on. So I took it back and apparently when doing the hard-drive repair they hadn't reconnected some of the wiring inside the laptop, therefore making it unable to charge. They fixed it but I'm still pissed that that even happened! If you're going to repair laptops at least put them back together properly. read more

TOTAL SCAM, AVOID AT ALL COST! Long story short, I payed them almost $150 so they could keep my computer for a few months and give it back to me in worse condition than I took it to them in with only a partial refund. Took my computer in due to an error screen stating there was an issue with the hard drive. they called back same day stating they had found and fixed the issue. Upon getting the computer home as soon as I tried to log into the computer I received for the first time, an error screen stating that the computer had shut down due to the cooling fan not working. Took the computer back and they charged to me to replace the fan. get the computer home again, same fan error screen. Took the computer back as I had already payed them to fix the fan. Once again they took my computer stating they would call me when they had it fixed... a month goes by with no call so I call them. supposedly it was fixed but they lost my number. Went and picked it up, they lost my charger... however they managed to find it about an hour later. Got home turned it on, SAME FAN ERROR. Went back for a refund and after banging the computer around while looking at it they only give me a partial refund claiming that it was the diagnostic fee and was non refundable. So $59 and a few months time I finally got by computer back with a "professional diagnostic check" to tell me the fan is not working. To top it off along with everything else, there were also issue with them not getting the back on the computer correctly and putting aftermarket screws in it that now stick out instead of sitting flush... which never got fixed. read more

They are CHEAP. I call them whenever I need a part just to see if they have it. If they don't have it then I order what I need online. They have fixed two of the computers at my office -- and fast -- just a day or two. Friendly too. I hope they stay in business! read more

The screen repair was supposed to take an hour, and because he put it on wrong it ended up being an entire day without my phone repaired. Instead of apologizing and offering any type of discount, he seemed not to care and charged me full price knowing damn well the entire wait was his fault. Monkey's, My brother came here to get his screen replaced on his Iphone. The Iphone worked perfect when he handed it to these halfwit monkeys it just had a cracked screen, he even turned it on and showed them. He went back when they said it was repaired and the phone would not turn on. Yea they repaired the screen and broke the phone then told him it would be $100 to get the phone back even though they broke it. I would not be writing this review had they just given him his phone and said "We could not fix it" but to charge him for fixing it when you broke it in the process is just wrong. This place, Computer Hospital, has been handling our personal and business computer service (and purchases) for years. I have three words for Computer Hospital: THEY ARE GREAT!!!! What is nice at this organization, is pretty simple: The people there are a lot smarter than I about computers, but they don't make me feel like a good. Very courteous and very kind folks. Latest experience....the last big time update that came down (unwanted) caused my computer to crash...nothing but a blue screen...(Saying things I didnt understand) But he understood...said mine was the third one that was the victim of the update...(Aka New and Improved - turned out to be only NEW1) But all was fixed in a few hours, and it works like new... Folks...don't go anywhere else.... If you do, it wont turn out well..... Great people, and great service! read more

We dropped a laptop off on Friday afternoon. We explained it wouldn't turn on and we thought it probably had a virus. The manager was helping us and said they would look at it and call us later that day with an estimate. We never did get a call. Saturday we called them around 11:30; they said they were just now working on it and they would call us back in an hour. We never got a call. We called them around 3:30 and they said out total was $189. We told them we didn't get a call with an estimate and that was more than we wanted to pay. After a lengthy discussion they agreed to $118 tax included and to come up around 6 to 6:30. We got to the store at 6:15 and there was a paper sign on the door "Closed at 5" ....their normal closing time was 7. Sunday around 1 we finally got the laptop back which we were getting fixed for our Mother for Mother's Day. Very poor business practices and won't use them again. read more

This place is a complete waste. Took my Iphone in because it turned off and would not turn back on. They wanted to charge me $40 JUST to diagnose, and figure out what's going on. A quick Google search later, and it was a very simple fix of plugging the phone into an outlet and resetting the phone. $40 to do that? Nice customer service. If you need any computer advise, apparently Google is WAY more educated, and financially more friendly. read more

This is NOT a place you want to go. The customer service here was awful. I took my computer here because it wouldn't boot up and they charged me $160 to "fix" the problem plus another $20 for anti virus software that I didn't even need because I already had Norton. The problem was NOT fixed and when I went back less than 2 weeks later they told me it would be an additional $59 dollars just to turn it on and look at it plus even more the fix the problem they didn't fix in the first place!!! read more

Better Business Bureau (BBB) has a grade of "F" for this business!!!!! (Wish I had checked BBB before going!) Used this business because of the coupon I found in the 417 Campus Coupon book. What a waste of time and money. My daughter had broken her iphone screen and we took it here to get the screen replaced. We got home and the phone would not properly respond to her touch as it should. We took the phone back and were told that her batter was swollen and it warped the glass. Funny, why wouldn't be have been told this BEFORE the glass was replaced. They refused to help in any way or properly fix the phone. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! THEY ARE UNTRUSTWORTHY! I don't know what happened to those who left negative reviews here. My experience with these guys has been positive. I have had two laptops repaired and at least three iPhone screens (kids). I have also had an iPad Air 2 and an iPad mini repaired here without issue. One of the iPhone screens that they installed failed and they replaced it for free under warranty. read more

Went in today for an estimate on a repair. The estimate given was way more than the part needed. I took the unit to another store for a second opinion . I went in to get my screen fixed on my iPhone and I went to pick it up 13 minutes before they closed. The guy just handed me my phone didn't say thank you or anything and even told me that they were waiting on me so they could close when according to their business hours they were open. They are not cheap. We wanted a good place to repair I-pad screen. They were $50 higher than a store on East Sunshine, but we're recommended to us. It was our fault that the wrong color screen was put on but they charged us $89 to change to the right screen. The you tube video shows that it's about a 5 min job. They took advantage of the situation and overcharged us. We complained and were told the owner wanted to charge us $130 and he was able to get it down to $89. I have to assume that is their standard business practice. If they cheated us, they'll cheat you. No one in our family will use them and we've warned all of our friends and now you'll know to use any place but the Computer Hospital. read more

After many visits to Computer Hospital I can safely say I always experience good service. They've fixed computers/laptops for me and my relatives, I purchased a monitor, printer, and power chord there, and the crew is always helpful and professional. They've been around for many years and their knowledge stems from their vast experience in the field. I don't hesitate to go there for my computer needs. A lot of people like to complain about the price but the bottom line is, computer work has its price and I don't think going somewhere else will be faster/cheaper, so I'd just get over it! read more

Purchased a used laptop from this store on Saturday took it home and the screen started flickering and graphics wasn't up to par(this was July 4th weekend) so I took it in to return it on Tuesday they took it back but charged me 15% or 36.40 restocking fee, WONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EVER AGAIN read more

We stopped in on a Saturday night after 6 PM the salesman said to change out the screen is normally figured at an hour but he said he could get this done in 30 minutes. Well, I thought I was getting a good deal on a great computer, custom built by Computer Hospital. I upgraded the monitor for an extra $100+ and asked lots of questions, trying to get across exactly what I needed. Instead I have a monitor that's not compatible with my graphics card (I was told I could bring the entire system back in and they would fiddle with the monitor to "make it work.") THEN I started to really explore "my" new computer and discovered that the owner of the company, I guess named Michael, had named key folders "Michael." And I don't have the authority to change the name. So, when I run certain programs, it says "Michael" all over the place. I was told I could dismantle my entire system, bring it in, and they would change things around for me, but no, they wouldn't send someone out to take care of it, despite the fact that no one should have to have a brand new computer with files locked off and renamed, apparently in a fit of ego. After a couple phone conversations that's where I sit - with a computer I don't really trust, and my only option being to tear down my computer (more work than one might realize now that I've put it all up in a new desk, running the wires neatly, all that hassle!) so these guys can fix a problem they caused. I would not recommend you buy a computer here unless you enjoy being given the run around. read more
