My car (genesis coupe) needed work done so I decided to give them a call and schedule an appointment which was quick and easy. Arrived at the shop for an inspection and was given a fair quote. They ordered OEM parts, scheduled another appointment on the day my parts arrived and got the job done in a matter of minutes! Loved how organized they were and how fast they are getting the job done. They also showed me faulty areas in my car where previous work was done by other shops. When ever I'm there for any work, I can trust that they will not attempt to sell me anything I don't need and that any work is done with quality parts and service. I've gone to Concept 3 for oil changes, lighting installs, spring installs, coil over installs, air suspension maintenance, taking my car back to stock, bought a front lip with install, and the list goes on... They do not take any shortcuts regardless of if you drive an old car worth $1,000 or if you have a show build in the hundreds of thousands. This shop is a nightmare. They sold me some stocks and they used aftermarket lugs on OEM wheel and my wheel fell off while driving. Not only did he not refuse to help me fix the damages he caused but he almost got me killed and possibly the kids in the school bus next to me amd the tire flying down the street onto on coming traffic. Was evaluated and evidence was shown of what they did. If you value your life, I would not go there. So called BAR, BBB, and a few other agencies to just have them inspected so that they dont put anyone else's life in danger. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. THIS IS THE WARNING I NEVER GOT. Don't believe the hype. Any positive reviews gotta be either: his friends, paid for, or people who might actually be happy, but with a super simple job even a brain-damaged monkey can do. This guy is as rude as he is inept. Total drama queen. Terrible work, terrible customer service. Major ego issues. Total joke. On my brother's car: - he put the wrong sub speaker in (my old one, i had to remove it later myself). - left iphone cable hanging out in a terrible unprofessional way. Didn't mount it as requested. - used a bad backup camera where he had to drill holes into the metal of the trunk, and the cheap screws came out within a week, leaving the camera dangling. There are plate-mount bar-cams, as well as replacement trunk latches with cameras built in (both OEM and aftermarket), that would have been much better, & also mount on-center, rather than awkwardly off-center, on the right side of the latch. Annoying af. My car: - He lost my $30 iphone cable - denied ever being given it - left black handprints all over the headliner material on the pillar between the windshield & driver window. This guy can't even wash his hands. - left HDMI cable plugged in when I asked for it to be removed - threw a tantrum when i simply asked for it to be removed. Really? how hard is it to pull a cable? - connected the antenna cable to the wrong wire, so no radio functionality. - ruined the clips around the trunk arm, leaving the plastic cover unfastened - ran backup cam cable janky-ass way, pinched through the seam between license plate LED assembly & the metal of the trunk, when he could have drilled through an unused bottom license plate screw hole (plastic blank inside, no puncturing of metal or pinching of cam cable required). - installed my backup camera with the cable so tight it came loose inside the trunk lid & i thought my camera was dead. it was only after removing the inside trunk panel myself after weeks of no camera that i saw how unnecessarily tight everything was & that the power cable had disconnected due to the tension (it's just a barrel plug!) - refused to finish my car - what was left: to install the bypass cable he failed to have ordered in time before / remove the HDMI cable hanging from the steering column. Worse than his work is his attitude & customer service. In his mind, the customer is always an idiot and an asshole, and he is a genius and a tough guy. Nevermind that he's not even good at what he does. He did a terrible job on our cars, as listed above. His front desk people are nice enough & try to help, but relaying messages to him via them is a bad idea. It's not their fault; they relay a message, but then he flips out and throws a fit in the back of his shop like the drama queen he is, to impress his employees & friends that always loiter about, to show what a 'tough guy' he is. You can see & hear him do this. It's amazing. He does this every single time you communicate to him via employees, without fail. It's better to just communicate with him directly, as his ego isn't prone to such histrionics without an audience, as well as having to talk to you face-to-face. Because he didn't have, let alone install, the bypass cable the first time, I had to come back. I missed the appointment twice for 2 reasons: 1) medical, and 2) his receptionist decided the earliest time and didn't tell me that i could have come later in the day. That wouldn't have been a big deal had i been able to reschedule, except, because I didn't bring my car to do the 10-minute job that it would have taken, he flipped out and refused to finish it, handing me the bypass cable to install myself. He didn't refund me a penny for the services promised but not rendered. Yesterday I went to a new shop a few blocks over, where Advantage Audio used to be, on Lambert, & those guys were really nice. For $45, the guy: - installed the bypass that Will refused to install - removed the HDMI cable Will refused to remove - connected the antenna cable Will improperly installed to the correct wire. - replaced the bad iphone cable - installed an aux adapter cable i had i didn't think Will had even installed the radio antenna (it wouldn't have surprised me a bit considering his disregard for his work or the customer), but this guy showed me that he did, but just connected it to the wrong cable entirely. Once connected to the correct cable, I could hear radio stations very well. 8 months after Will should have done it correctly. I shouldn't have had to pay somebody else to fix everything but I didn't want Will touching my car again, nor did I want to deal with his acrimonious demeanor & infantile behavior. I also wanted somebody to give it a good look-through & properly diagnose the problems I was having (iphone no longer connecting, backup cam no longer working, no radio reception at all), before taking it to Will, so I'd know what i was dealing with. read more

Will is very easy to deal with and professional. I took a vehicle to him that is not the type that he normally deals with, my 87 Nissan Pathfinder, which had a lot of engine noise and other issues and needed a new door lock actuator. I was in the process of sprucing it up to hand off to a family member. He removed a box full of speaker wire, RCA cables and other unnecessary connections, fixed the door lock and moved the amp for my subwoofer under the driver seat. It was a major improvement! After leaving, I noticed that the speakers in my driver's door were shot. I went back and he agreed to do a switch out on my front door speakers the next day. I was in and out in about a half hour. As I said, this is not the normal type of custom work Will does, and there was nothing glamorous about it, but it was a paying gig and he is a professional and did a great job. I would highly recommend taking your car to concept 3, especially if you would like to have some custom work done. read more

Also my alarm does not engage when the vehicle is shut off anymore...(Never had this problem before I had my pioneer installed) Haven't had the time to come back due to this business being such a distance. My airbags were leaking on the rear right side and i needed airbags replaced, this shop came highly recommended to me. Let me tell you, when i read the yelp reviews, i may have been a little dubious however, being they were highly recommended (and let's be honest, we cant always trust yelp), i drove the long drive out there and dropped off my car. I didnt get to speak to the person i had an appointment with, which was Will, but it was because he was working on another client's car (i was also early being we arent local to the shop so totally my fault) and about an hour an a half later, i got a call my car was ready. I went to go pick it up, not only did Will have everything i needed done on the car, he explained everything to me, showed me everything and he was very professional and sweet. I will be referring any of my car buddies here for sure, especially airbags since he is so knowledgeable. What a splendid experience with this shop. Friendly, professional, and got the job done. When i first for purchased my optima i knew i wanted to start modding right away..but i had no idea where to start and where to go...enter Concept III. I found out about these guys through the optima forums so i hit up Will (president of Concept III) and asked him about wanting to purchase a ARK exhaust system with burnt tips. He contacted ARK directly and was able to get me the exhaust system for hundreds less than what other vendors in this market were offering it for, the price of installation was very reasonable as well. Since then i have purchased all kinds of different mods from them; HIDs, DRL's, Racing Cube Tune, LED interior lighting, mood lighting, rear reflector turn signal, third brake light module, Oil change..and some others i can't think of right now..lol They specialize in KDM but service all others as well. They carry almost anything you need when your looking to mod your vehicle. If you see an item that they sell at a lower price at a different shop, let Will know and he'll most likely match the price or drop it for a few bucks less than the competitor. If you need your oil changed..hell they do that to! The employees over at this shop are a fun bunch of guys and are very professional when it comes down to business. They are very knowledgable about pretty much everything, and if you have a problem with your vehicle they'll do their best to find out what the problem is and to find a solution. I've been up to their shop numerous times for different things and i usually always drive out of there with a mod i really wasn't planning on purchasing, lol. This place is great and even though its in Brea; its my go to place for anything i need done automotive wise. These guys are much more than a business, their a family over there and they treat their customers as one of their own. William replaced my brakes and rotors on my C6 Corvette and did a great job. Corvettes require a unique way of lifting the car, William was already aware and prepared. I recently had an igniter go out on the Drivers Side HID, on My 2015 Genesis 3.8 Sedan, which was newly installed in Feb-Mar 2015 of this Year. So After I called on Concept 3 on Saturday, to have them address the issue. Will replaced My 6K Bulbs with 5K to see if I'd like them. So when I finally pulled into My Garage I noticed on the My Garage Wall that the Light Placement was off and Yellowish at the Top. That Evening and On SUNDAY, I called TWICE and Left 2 Detailed Messages to See if I could do a Stop By and Have Him address it. I have to say that I was disappointed with this shop. I took my car in for a stereo install a few weeks ago with a morning appointment. I did not receive the car back until after 7pm and found out that the stock navigation was not working. When asked they said I had cut the factory harness which I did not and they left the interior pretty grimy with grease residues on steering wheel/shift knob. So I rescheduled to have them address the navi (had to wait 2 weeks) and found a plug with my stereo parts that they did not install. So I mentioned that to them upon return and what do you know, it started working again. But to add insult to injury, they really did a work on my interior again but this time with scratches everywhere. The scratched up my $650 custom flat bottom steering wheel, used a damn screwdriver to remove the stereo leaving its marks and totally scratched up my center console which mean either they don't care about your car, did rush job, or both. Look at the pics and you can see how careless they are with your car. I dont think I could give a good recommendation for this shop. read more

Brought my bagged 2015 Genesis Sedan for Will to check out because the height sensor arrows on my airlift 3H were 15-20% off from each other and the overall ride quality of the car was complete shit. Was tired of bringing it to the shop that originally bagged it with the same complaints week after week with no real changes after their "adjustments". Will took his time to reset all the coilovers to the correct preload and took painstaking care to make sure all the heights were the same. Then he checked all the sensors and adjusted them so the arrows on the height sensors would all line up. When he got to the rear, he noticed the bottom bolt on one of my shocks had backed out, causing it to swing free and lacerate my axle boot. He replaced the axle and buttoned everything back down and now the car rides absolutely perfect again. To top it off, you would think this guy would've charged an arm and a leg for the amount of time he spent on it but nope; the price he charged was extremely reasonable. Will is a perfectionist and his attention to detail is what I've been looking for in an automotive specialist. There's proof of this in the cleanliness of his shop. Definitely gonna check out his new shop after his move. read more
