    Dozen- Oysters and white wine

Amazing place, if you're looking for scenery and great service (Juan was our waiter) young guy but extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. He was the cherry on top of our experience. This was my first time here, but would not be the last. We had the dozen platter of oysters, which came with 6 pairs of different oysters. We also enjoyed the delicious ceviche. Everything was fresh and exquisite. Highly recommend. I loved that it wasn't too crowded, it was spacious and also private depending on where you sat. Overall I'd like to emphasize the great service- Juan knew how to engage and was detail oriented and was definitely and expert when explaining where and how the oysters were harvested. And lastly was would check in and refill our cups when needed. Thank you for the amazing experience- be back soon.

We came at four on a Thursday and had the entire place to ourselves. It was a quiet, gorgeous setting to have dinner. We opted for the tasting menu, and it was superb. Everything was prepared or cooked impeccably. The seared abalone was one of my favorite dishes. Paired with a glass of their bubbly, I was so content. Our server was very attentive. She didn't speak English and my Spanish is rudimentary but we made it work! I would definitely come back!!!

We came here for an afternoon to try the oysters and were so happy with our decision to visit. The wine was great and the oysters were some of the best we've ever had. The atmosphere is fresh and beautiful with sprawling views and beautiful landscaping of the area. Our host Sebastian was knowledgeable of the oysters and helped us pick out the very best ones to try. We will definitely be back here next time we are in the area!

I was looking for a good spot in el Valle where we could have some refreshing sparkling wine and this place came up every time...then I learned they were all about the oysters and they promptly made it onto my list of MUST STOP places! The view was lovely, weather was perfect (early Oct), excellent service, tasty sparkling wines and AMAZING oysters!! They were so meaty and fresh, the BEST we've ever had! The buttery sauce in the mussels was so good we wanted to drink it up. I highly recommend this unique spot, we stopped in between other activities; next time we'll hang out longer. If you are visiting the Valle, concha de piedra is a little hidden gem. Food is spectacular!

The food is delicious, the ambiance and view are great and the service was excellent. It is on the expensive side but so worth it.

    Another gem by Drew Deckman!

Love this place, but I didn't realize they close their outdoor eatery from January to February 14th.

Luckily, we were able to secure a table at Quercus. The waiter was prompt and gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The chef was also quick to come and ensure that any questions we had about the menu were answered. The bread was served fresh with salsa - a combination I have not had before. Both the green and red salsa were not too spicy and to my surprise, went well with the toasted bread. For our main courses: 1. Grilled Octopus - 5 star presentation! Well seasoned and not chewy - which is something many other restaurants get wrong. The octopus still had a bite, but was still tender enough. It went well with the pickled onions and the guacamole that was served with the dish. 2. Ribeye - Again, excellent presentation befitting of fine dining. This was a huge portion, but well seasoned and not dry. We opted for the 500g (larger) size upon recommendation of our waiter, but probably could have gone for the smaller size. We could not finish it; perhaps if we had 3 people dining. Our meal was paired with an excellent white wine blend from one of the local wineries upon recommendation of our waiter. Highly recommended if you are in the area looking for a restaurant to have dinner at. If I were to describe this place: mediterranean food with a Mexican flare.

I have attached photos of most of the deliciousness! The cheese plate, the tomato soup, and the pork shank were my favorites. I did personally order the grilled octopus, it wasn't cleaned super properly and a lot of bits of it were over the top chewy but did have potential to be great! Also, with being sick I had ordered some hot tea and all I received was hot water with a sprig of mint lol. But all in all this place was amazing!

The last time my friends attempted to eat here, the restaurant was full and it will take at least a 30 minute wait to get seated. Today, the 21st of November was our lucky day as we were craving the freshest ceviche Ensenada has to offer and experiencce the five star rating Muelle 3 was known for. Our party of 4 chose to sit outside to eat lunch on this cool, cloudy Friday afternoon and be exposed to the sights and sounds of this busy commercial and fishing port. Within minutes of getting settled, our free appetizer - Tortilla Espanola and a plate full of lemon & lime slices with an oyster shell-full of sea salt and chili powder occupied the center of our table. Then came the Ceviche de la casa. A winner in my book of ceviches! Plus a coaster-sized, fresh off the pan tortilla chips gave it a unique serving style. We had to order another bowl of tortillas because eating ceviche without it just won't be the same. The Calamar frito were perefectly breaded, without excess flour and grease in every bite. Another winner! Last but not the least is the Pasta de Mar with the clams of different sizes and pre-cut scallops in the their shell. Muy Delicioso! More hungry patrons started arriving and we still got prompt service. I will make it a point to grab a satisfying seafood dish or two here the next time I visit Ensenada whether by car or by cruise ship.

This time, I wasn't taking any chances. I called exactly 10 days out (their max window) to lock in a reservation. We arrived early and were seated right away. Our server was super friendly and honest, too. When he saw us ordering the mixed sashimi and the ceviche, he gently suggested we get a half order instead, since we had a lot of other dishes coming. We agreed... and were shocked by how big the half portion was! Our son said, "I've never seen a restaurant talk us out of ordering more food." Respect. Honest people, great vibes. As for the food: * Mixed sashimi (yellowtail & octopus): 3/5 * Ceviche: 5/5 * Fried calamari: 4/5 * Prawns with pasta: 5/5 * Three fish risotto: 6/5 (still dreaming about it) Drinks included a michelada, margarita, and a couple beers. All that for under $120. Total win. Amazing meal at a chill spot with people who treat you right. Highly recommend and it will be a must stop for our future visit.

I politely pointed it out to our server, Daniel, expecting it to be corrected. Instead, he casually dismissed it and said, "It's only 100 pesos more," which I found unprofessional and disrespectful. It's not about the amount it's about accuracy and customer service. Because of this interaction, I decided to remove the $20 tip I had initially left. When I did, he took the receipt to his manager and claimed that I hadn't tipped at all. I explained the situation, but he responded with a smirk, which felt mocking and made the situation even more uncomfortable. Additionally, the service overall was slow. We asked for water multiple times before ordering, during the meal, and even after finishing and it still took a long time for it to arrive. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, despite the setting. I hope management takes this kind of behavior seriously and works on improving both service quality and professionalism.
