One of the best experiences we've had in any restaurant period! A small restaurant but with big world cuisine! 5 course meal that varies by day, using locally grown produce and local meats. Very romantic setting plus exclusive service. Find their Instagram and DM for reservations! If you're in Valle it is a great spot for dinner. The service is personable and you feels like a 5 star restaurant. Look for Clos de Tres Cantos winery and you're there. It's located in the garden by a small swamp. 5 stars for the delicious, fine food. I had two favorite dishes. The scallops were prepared to perfection in a curtido of sweet and acidic flavors! The Lamb neck was braised and served in a reductio sauce using its own juices and a side of sweet potato purée.

Incredibly intimate and romantic ambiance combined with delicious food and kind and professional service. We had a four course meal. I recommend the beet soup with goat cheese! SO good. The red wine was smooth and the bread was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Five stars.

We received an appetizer for the table from the chef to start off our feast. The Blood Clam aguachiles were amazing and a must order. It is not your typical agauachiles. The clams were chopped up with made it a perfect dish to share for all of us. It was excellent. We moved on to a very delicious salad that was not on the menu but we asked for a house salad that we can all share. It was packed with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, beets and radishes. We moved on to our main course and the ribe eye was seasoned and cooked to perfection, enough to share for about 4 people. We ordered 2 but we could have easily had just 1. The oven roasted Curvina with vegetables as also very tasty. It was not my favorite but when you have rib eye cooked the way it was, we didn't need the fish. We topped off the night with dessert a frambuesa with vanilla ice cream.

For groups larger than 7, they require a prix fixe menu (5 or 7 courses) with the option to add a wine pairing. We went with the 5 course + wine pairing, which included a welcome drink (gin + cucumber based and very refreshing). The pairing was supposed to include four wines, but we only ended up getting one red and one white with refills which was a bit of a bummer. That said, the red ended up being one of my favorites from the entire trip, so partial win there. Food: absolutely delicious. Everything came out family style, beautifully plated, and perfect for sharing with a big group. No complaints on flavor or execution! 4 stars (and not 5): a few frustrating misses for a high end spot. First... they were out of tequila. In Valle. At this restaurant. What? Lol. Second, we were required to select our main entree in advance (choices were rock fish or suckling pig), only to get a call about an hour before our reservation saying neither would be available. The replacements were a fish (I think salmon?) and pork belly. Don't get me wrong both were good but last min menu changes like that shouldn't really happen at this level. All that said, still a great experience overall. I would come back with a smaller group so I can actually order my own meal and avoid the prix fixe surprises.

Th ecachete is packed with flavor and cooked perfectly, and the pulpo is hands down one of the best I've had tender, smoky, and seasoned just right. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared and elevated without losing that Baja charm. The drinks also deserve a shoutout great mixed drinks that are refreshing, well-balanced, and perfect to sip while taking in the views. Overall, Finca Altozano delivers on all fronts: amazing food, killer drinks, and a beautiful atmosphere with plenty of photo ops. Definitely a 5-star experience and a spot I'll keep coming back to

I wouldn't consider this a winery, more like they serve a bunch of different wines from the wineries. The space: is large and open. Plenty of seating. And it was extremely cold since its very open aired. But they were nice to bring us heat lamps. We got their house sangria pitcher, it tasted good, but it tasted more like fruit soda rather than wine. Clam Ceviche This seemed like a popular item, but honeslty the clam was too dry and overcooked and no flavor. (I don't recall the names of the other items and didn't take a picture of the menu, nor can I find a menu online, so here it goes...) Tuna Toastada This was okay, fish didn't seem that fresh, not much flavor as well. Grilled Pork + Beans and Sides The meat was very tasty, nice mixture of shredded meat and fatty skin. I tried a bite of the steak, was okay too. Overall, food and drinks are okay. Would like to see this place in the daytime.

Beautiful outdoor dining area overlooking the valle. We started with a dozen oysters - half raw, served on ice and topped with dainy purple edible flowers - tiny and perfect. Even better paired with their famous sparkling rose. Then we tried a half dozen roasted oysters, served in a chili butter and topped with pork Chicarron, epazote and lemon zest - unbelievable! The abalone aguachile, with cucumber, garlic aioli, was wonderful. We weren't really a fan of the tamale with chocolate clam and Geoduck - the tamale had strange flavor, and Geoduck is very chewy. The tempura oyster tacos were delicious. They now have some vegetable dishes, so we tried the roasted carrots, which were good, but the roasted mixed vegetables w/ beet puree and guava sauce was unbelievable! Everything has stunning presentation, served in abalone or clam shells and topped with little flowers or other garnishes. Can't wait to return!

We arrived at the location (tucked away) off the main road. Like a lot of the good things in Valle I suppose. We soon realized we were the only two dining with the chef this night. Which meant full attention full service just for the two of us. Talk about a treat. Our waiter mentioned how the omakase would work and soon started us with drinks and water. What came after was a dream, a full experience of tastes, and adventure, and exquisiteness. A really good selection of fish from the local Ensenada region. I was in awe every time a new dish come out. I lost count, and found myself trying to savor every moment every bite, and then having a moment of clarity and asking "what course are we on?" "how many are left?" I didn't worry to much as every single stage of omakase was magnificent, beautifully presented and something I highly suggest you do, if you have the opportunity to. If you get lucky and end of being the only customers for night, take advantage of it. As, opportunities like this, are rare. TOSHI is the best!

Luckily, we were able to secure a table at Quercus. The waiter was prompt and gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The chef was also quick to come and ensure that any questions we had about the menu were answered. The bread was served fresh with salsa - a combination I have not had before. Both the green and red salsa were not too spicy and to my surprise, went well with the toasted bread. For our main courses: 1. Grilled Octopus - 5 star presentation! Well seasoned and not chewy - which is something many other restaurants get wrong. The octopus still had a bite, but was still tender enough. It went well with the pickled onions and the guacamole that was served with the dish. 2. Ribeye - Again, excellent presentation befitting of fine dining. This was a huge portion, but well seasoned and not dry. We opted for the 500g (larger) size upon recommendation of our waiter, but probably could have gone for the smaller size. We could not finish it; perhaps if we had 3 people dining. Our meal was paired with an excellent white wine blend from one of the local wineries upon recommendation of our waiter.
