The coffee was so good!! I got an iced vanilla latte half sweet, and their vanilla syrup is housemade. You get the coffee in a nice glass if you get it for there rather than to-go. They accept reusable cups. I give the vanilla latte a 9/10, so good, would recommend. The back area is so dang gorgeous, I could totally see all the fashionable folks going here for pics LOL. The space is just breathtaking!!! So nice to talk and chill and admire the architecture! The arch doorways are dreamy! read more

You first enter concierge coffee through a heavy ass TSA bag checkpoint wiping dog slobber and The Ordinary skin oil on you. I think anywhere Departamento chooses to park at hosts a plethora of people equivalent to Google's AI assistant Gemini. Jesus Christ. 8 dollar cold brew and asking for a tip is insane I was already assaulted by your front door. Also how do you guys lock this place at night? The peanut gallery of co working loiterers is off putting. I thought it was "don't talk to me until I've had my morning coffee" not just "don't talk to me". Judgy workers and it smelt weird. Hidden gem in the Arts District. Walked right by this place in the past not realizing there were great coffee and tea options here until recently they put a silver sign outside on the sidewalk. Can't believe this place has been here and I've lived without their saffron latte for a year! Amazing and delicious drink. They also serve savory and sweet pastries from local bakeries. read more

Ordered an Almond croissant, only to realize after the fact I received a pistachio one which I'm allergic to. Ended up buying a cheesy corn bread instead....but they didn't even ask or offer to warm it up. It tasted stale and just not appealing. I forced myself to eat it. Yuzu matcha tonic was ok. Wasn't mind blowing. Aesthetics was fine. Sad my experience at this DTLA Berlin inspired cafe was disappointing. Been to Berlin but the food/drinks we had there was much more pleasant! read more

I must say, the aesthetic of this coffee shop is quite pleasing. Kudos to the designer! As for the coffee, I sampled the Einspänner, which proved to be quite strong; I couldn't finish it. While I enjoy coffee, this one was exceptionally strong and, combined with the dark chocolate, not to my liking. If I am ever around the area, I will come back to try their other selections of coffee. read more

I came here a few months ago, honestly I wasn't a big fan. I don't remember what drink I got but I remember not really liking it. The place itself is really nice & aesthetic on the inside & the outside. Customer service was normal & nice. My partner & I sat outside rather than inside, which was nice for the time of day. A small and quiet place in the arts district of Los Angeles. The decor is simple and gives zen vibes. They offer pastries and coffee. I went to try their matcha and I liked it. They had options for milk and sweeteners. They only had one option for size. Overall a good experience and good tasting matcha. Do not come here, you have been warned. The exterior of the building is captivating and inviting but once you step in it's apparent that customer service is non existent. I came to this place with my girlfriend and we were the only 2 in there not greeted at all. We ordered the Affogato & Concierge Crème as it's already a warm day and this is what we were looking for. The 2 cups with 2 scoops of Breyers ice cream came at a $16 cost and the espresso was way less than a shot I would say more like 1/4 of a shot. This was so bad that anyone with any sense would have noted this was not a complete shot. At this point we knew we made a mistake giving this place a chance. Ambiance: 5/10 - The set up is nice and minimalist but the vibe is so off. Price: 1/10 - If you want to pay a lot for below average coffee then this is the place for you. Flavor: 1/10 - We ended up with only ice cream so the little espresso we got was not worth it at all. To conclude don't let this place fool you for the minimalist architecture they are bad at customer service,price and coffee. Also, shout out to Groundwork Coffee next door for saving the day and delivering great coffee! Ambiance-terrible Service-the employees treat you like you're not supposed to be there Coffee-bitter like the service We came here on Easter Sunday excited to start our day with an affogato which we've never had before so we figured this would be a cool new local spot to try out. Worst decision. The exterior is beautiful but we should've kept walking. We were the ONLY ones in the location and we were not greeted when we waked in it was almost as if we were intruding and they were waiting for us to leave. So anyway, I order an affogato.... I got .01% of an espresso shot, and the ice cream was 2 scoops of BREYERS ice cream. If they're going to charge $16 for .01% of an espresso shot they should at least get the ice cream from a local mom and pop shop. Support the local small businesses. I didn't want to encounter them again or the terrible bitter coffee so I went to Groundwork Coffee and told them about what happened and they gave us four espresso shots on the house. That was so kind. The cashier said "Don't worry- we will make it right for you" and with the biggest smile and the best customer service made it right when it was not their mess to fix. I've been going to Groundwork coffee for years now and they have the best coffee, food and customer service. Please please please save yourself a nasty interaction with the staff and your wallet, walk a few doors down to Groundwork coffee. read more

A Berlin based coffee shop has opened its first U.S. location in the Los Angeles Arts District. The vibe is minimal and sleek. I like the seating style and glass table. Feels like you are not in LA when inside. The espresso is smooth and delicious. I ordered a cortado and also a cup of coffee, black. The coffee is aromatic, hints of fruity tart, very good roast. If you don't drink black coffee, I recommend trying it here first. Not bitter. The staff is cool and friendly. Restrooms are in the back courtyard. Parking in the Arts District can be a bit tricky so keep that in mind when visiting. Overall dope spot that I will be going to on a regular basis. read more

A nicely decorated and well-thought-out coffee space in the Arts District area. Concierge has a large coffee menu featuring drinks like Flat Whites (hot AND iced) and affogato's. I am not sure if we came on a bad day but the wait was super long, my partner and I ordered two drinks and it took 30 minutes for them to make it. I understand they just opened, with only three staff members and one barista. However, the coffee tasted like any other coffee shop, and waiting more than 15 minutes for coffee anywhere is insane. At some point, they started turning down customers from placing orders due to overcapacity. Hopefully, with more experience in operating, they'll figure out a more efficient way to serve their customers. read more

The americano here was immaculate. It was very smooth and not acidic. The perfect way I like my americano. The place was beautiful and plenty of seating. Went in looking for a bathroom (located outside the shop in the back) and ended up getting the matcha affogato. It was bomb! The vibe of the place was very LA. Saffron latte ($8): 1/5 i got this with oat milk (+50¢) and it was extremely disappointing... it tasted like fabric. There were no notes of espresso whatsoever and tasted quite milk heavy with saffron flavor. It was just a saffron milk tbh Affogato: 1/5. This one tasted like straight vanilla ice cream :/ i could barely taste the espresso. There was no contrasting balance. I don't understand why the name of this place is called concierge, when the service is just really not there. I was on an early lunch run and swung by here for a drip coffee - unfortunately they were out but I was told that I could have a fresh brew in 5 min so I decided to wait. More than 15 min passes, and I was still standing there waiting. The second time I asked about the whereabouts, one of the barista yelled to the back, "she says she needs her coffee". Another barista comes out from the back with fresh brew, pour it and hand it off to me, but no apology or anything other than saying that sometimes the machine is "old and slow". I get that times are hard, but what is up with this attitude when the name of the store is literally called "concierge"? read more

Saffron latte is unique/tasty. Customer service here makes me never want to come again. Baristas are unfriendly and when they messed up my order they made it seem like it was my fault + attitude, even when I offered to pay the difference when it was their mistake. This isn't just a one off experience, it's every single time I come here, the employees are so unwelcoming - my coworkers in the area say the same. I hardly leave reviews but I love their saffron latte so much, it's super unfortunate I always leave here with a negative experience. If the owner spent more time hiring people who actually like helping others and creating a positive atmosphere, then maybe I'd come back again. read more

They don't allow outside food or drinks in the outdoor plaza / courtyard. Didn't even start to eat or drink (just had it) and got warned after sitting down for less than 1min in the outdoor area. I was very disappointed because I heard about this place and was very excited to go. However, if I were to be honest, the ambiance and the interior was great but everything else was super disappointing... Our drinks were very watered down as well and the hojicha latte was very powdery and weak in flavor. Not only that, the service was not very good either. As soon as I walked in there was no "Hi" or greeting. It was very awkward for us because all the baristas were not friendly. They never even said thank you and I left a bit weirded out because the guy just simply had a weird tone when he said our drinks were ready almost as if he was annoyed... Just got back from this place. I was absolutely disappointed considering theirs reviews. Coffee was watered down heavily and lacked texture. Flavors were not balanced and it was unreasonably bitter. Asked for adjustments but server wasn't understanding and mentioned that everything was weight out and is perfect the way it is. Honestly never going back again waste of money. But the vibe was super cute! Although their drink and costumer service was not it. read more

I stumbled across their Yelp page when I was visiting from out of town and checked the Instagram for their hours on a Saturday afternoon and was happy to see they were open! I am a sucker for pop-up coffee shop/cart concepts so I had to check it out. The pop-up is easy to find, it's outside facing into the parking lot, and they had a cute A-frame sign out by the street side. There was no line, and I ordered and sat down at one of the tables out front. The service was so warm, and I believe the shop is owned and operated by one man on his own! He was an absolute delight to meet, and he brought my matcha latte to me at the table when it was prepared. He suggested I get the cream top on it, and boy was that the perfect recommendation. I would say I'm a little bit of a matcha fiend... I think I got a matcha latte at 3 different places this day... and this one far surpassed the others. I think it was one of the best matcha lattes I have ever drank to-date. It was perfectly green, the matcha quality was phenomenal, both taste and look-wise. The texture was just right, perfectly creamy with barely any grittiness. The cream top only added to the drink, and didn't take away from the matcha flavor at all, which I feel like has happened at other places for me. I'm dreaming of this matcha latte days later, and need to go back to Kokoro No Coffee as soon as I am in town again. This was a spectacular find, and I hope this spot gets all the love it deserves! There is truly nothing like a great business ran by a great person and you can tell there's so much intention put into this concept. Highly, highly recommend and I could not sing praises more!

I visited this café for its ambiance, but sadly, the drinks didn't meet my expectations. I tried an iced chai and a matcha, both of which tasted watered down, light in flavor, and overly milky. The barista mentioned they used ceremonial matcha, but it likely wasn't a high-quality brand. The powder was a muted green and dull, lacking prominent flavor. However, I did appreciate their use of Califia oat milk. What shocked me the most was the $0.50 charge for ice in cold drinks! Paying extra for a cup full of ice is uncommon, and it likely contributed to the watery taste of my drinks. Additionally, they charge $0.50 for milk alternatives, $1 for a syrup flavor, and I believe they will charge extra if your order is made to dine in. On a positive note, there is a charming hidden courtyard tucked in the back of the café. Enter from the cafe or through Avery St & E 3rd. The architecture features clean white walls with rounded, arched windows, creating an open and airy atmosphere. There's umbrellas to provide shade over the seating areas.
