Having had very negative experiences with other local facilities in the past, we were honestly terrified to trust another rehab center. Thankfully, several people recommended Tampico, and what a difference this facility was. From the moment we walked in, the building felt clean, welcoming, and well cared for. Every staff member greeted us warmly and treated my mom with dignity and compassion during one of the most vulnerable times of her life. Her care team was wonderful. Her CNAs were Helen, Marie, and Romel. Her PTs were Mimi, Deepika, and Nicole, and her OT was Aarti. Her absolute favorites were Helen, Emiliano, and Aarti. The therapy team pushed her in all the right ways while also taking time to educate our family and encourage my mom throughout recovery. When my mom arrived, she could not even sit up independently. By discharge, she had improved dramatically and was strong enough to transfer to John Muir's intensive rehab program, which prior she didn't qualify for due to her level of weakness. Most importantly, we never once felt like her needs were ignored. The staff consistently responded with kindness, patience, and professionalism. The facility truly felt like a home away from home while still providing excellent rehabilitation care. The only complaint my mom had was the food, especially the fish meals, but she is also a very picky cook-from-scratch person. We are incredibly grateful to the entire Tampico team and would absolutely recommend this facility to families looking for compassionate, quality rehabilitation care.

I came for a neck injury and all the staff here are nice, knowledgeable, and friendly. Eugene, Christine, Chris, and Julia are all great to work with. They provide the appropriate balance of instruction and encouragement. Over the course of a few months I was able to recover from my injury and go back to my normal activities. I've worked with Riley, Christine, and David and all three have been fantastic. They've been knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and great at explaining the "why" behind the exercises and treatment plan. The office itself is also run extremely efficiently. Communication has been clear from day one, scheduling has been smooth, and honestly it just sets the golden standard for how a medical/therapy office should operate. The Limber Health app can be a little finicky at times, but that's obviously outside of the clinic's control. I still really appreciate having the assigned "homework" exercises between sessions because it helps keep progress moving forward outside the office. BAIT AND SWITCH. I…read moredid not see Dr. Olsen. A male provider was on duty when I went 11/21/25. This facility appears to have a lot of patients at one time, but only one chiropractor in the office. I arrived at 8:30 and by the time I left at 10am there must have been 10 people sitting in the waiting area. It feels a bit of like an assembly line. There was more time spent with various staff versus the chiropractor. There are 7 treatment rooms or more. I made my appointment by phone, as I was looking to get in as soon as I could, having exacerbated my back a couple of days prior, and was looking for a chiropractor that used the activator method. When I called, the person told me that my first visit would be $27 if X-rays were needed, but the rest of the visit would be free. During my visit they had me sign a 2-page document that had a bunch of charges and I said I was told it would be $27 if I needed an X-ray so I didn't understand why I was signing for all these charges. I was told these were prices for other chiropractors. Oh ok I signed it. The chiropractor came in and recommended I do EMFR and laser treatment if there was time. He wasn't sure there would time for an adjustment. No pricing was discussed. Like I said, assembly line and chiropractor left. I was taken to a different room, and they did the EMFR thing. Then I had to wait awhile for someone else to be done with the laser machine. Mind you, they are pretty efficient but there was a lot of this and that to keep the assembly line moving and I did wait quite awhile in between these 2 things. Then they told me they would give me an ice pack which they never did. They asked if I felt better and I was like, um I haven't been adjusted and that was my main reason for coming in. So they took me back to a different room. I waited a bit and the chiropractor came in to adjust me - 5 minutes or less. At the front they said $189. I said, say what? I explained my call and they said yeah the $27 is for the consultation and X-ray, but the PEMF, laser, and adjustment were all extra on top of that. I was mad at the lack of transparency and I let her know. She said since I have Kaiser and was paying OOP, the chiropractor could set up a treatment plan that would include 20% discount. I said but no 20% discount for today? No. I paid it and left and do not want to ever go back. This is a classic bait and switch. Perhaps the office is full of people who have insurance coverage. If they would have told me the costs in advance, I might have asked for less treatment or just the adjustment. Or totally been fine with it. In the end, I don't think it's an unreasonable charge for a first time appointment. However, I was not able to make an informed decision due to their misrepresentation. That left a bad taste in my mouth and I won't be back. Beware if you're paying out of pocket.

I wanted to ask further questions but since my time was shared with others, I couldnt follow up like I wanted to. I was going to give CA Rehab and Sports another chance since having another issue, but calling this location is like calling a radio station. You are lucky if they pick up. One time, someone actually picked up, but I could hear people talking in the background. Then he/she hung up- very unprofessional. Ill take my chances elsewhere.

There is a lot of staff with this woman-owned business and I am pleased to see the services include physiotherapy and accupuncture. In addition to chiropractic adjustment my daughter and I get physical therapy from Lloyd and an occasional therapeutic massage. Lloyd provides great information and good individualized treatment. The reception staff is friendly and caring. I appreciate that they keep me informed as the insurance coverages seem to change continually. This has to be a challenge because every patient's insurance coverage seems to be different. Arranging appointments with Anna or Dana is easy, and Catherine is a great help as well. My daughter was a little suspicious of chiropractic adjustment but the process was explained and modifications were made. The adjustments and treatments have helped significantly. I am happy to recommend Beyond Chiropractic for treatment. It is a very good office.

When booking I was initially told that the first time appt is more expensive because it's a longer appointment ( approximately an hour and 15 minutes) because they also do body work, scraping and Accupuncture. So I was expecting a little more time with the extras - however my appointment was about 40 minutes. I did get a quick massage and some scraping and cupping. I would have liked a tad more time, especially with the cupping and scraping. I do like that they are better than the average chiropractor, and that they offer these things. To be fair I was the last appt of the day and week, and they did squeeze me in- But if I knew I wouldn't be getting the full service time I would have rescheduled. My dr and tech were extremely nice and professional. However when I checked out and was trying to rebook with the receptionist, I didn't remember the my doctors name, and asked who I was booked under I got a bit of attitude?? Kinda strange to have a first time patient and not have record of who I was seeing? I'll probably go back when I need an adjustment, but feeling a little bummed I paid so much initially.
