Just an update... Marco and Edgar once again provided outstanding service. Another minor job to replace a regulator but well done and on time. Had a similar job done years ago and the cost was outrageous and I've never called them again. There was another local plumbing company that is popular in the Pinole / West County area that has been around for years. Had them replace a bunch of old style water supply cut off valves. When one of them started to leak a bit right after installation and I called them back to get it looked it... crickets. A great company. We had a backup at our washer, then our sink and bathtub. All connected to the same line. Everyone else quoted an hourly rate, which left things open ended. Concord Rooter and Plumbing quoted a flat rate and stuck to it. The technician spent a lot of time going to the outside clean out, the washer line, then the sink and bathtub lines to make sure everything was clear. Requested an appointment to fix a clogged toilet. The tech who came out took one look at the toilet, stated that the tank was working fine and there was an issue with the bowl or the pipes - obviously, as the issue is a clog - and stated that the discoloration in the bowl was calcium buildup. We could either try and treat with CLR, or pay over $800 to have the entire toilet replaced. I pointed out that the so-called "calcium buildup" was in fact just some toilet paper stuck on the inside of the bowl as a result of the toilet not flushing correctly, which the tech completely ignored and continued to tell me there was calcium buildup and the toilet needed replacement. I called a different company after he left, who arrived within the hour and took less than 5 minutes to unclog the toilet with a snake. Very frustrating to not be listened to at all, and to have someone try and upsell a brand new toilet rather than attempt any kind of actual diagnostic. read more

I called and was told they would be at my home in about 40 minutes, and they showed up literally 5 minutes after I hung up the phone. Matt and Alfredo came and unclogged the drains. I took a bath, and the drained water backed up and spewed out into our other bathrooms shower and leaked out all over the floor and into our closets.
