Hardwoods - we had red oak mixed with carpet, stone, and laminate. They pulled the carpet, stone, and laminate and weaved new red oak into our existing red oak and stained it dark. At the time, we had a 2yr old toddler and they did the job quickly and cleanly, leaving the home livable and safe after each day of work. They even took care of a dead raccoon for us (story for another day haha). Kitchen - they remodeled our entire kitchen in 2.5 weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas, allowing us to host our family in a brand new space. Scott and his team do design work and ordering, but we opted to get our design and cabinets through Lowes bc we wanted to take advantage of a sale. Scott and Tyler then took all the design mocks and materials and implemented them in our home and customized things along the way (backsplash, waterfall counter, moulding, lighting, etc.). They did it with so much care and attention to detail and took feedback every step of the way. Never was it challenging to talk through options or make corrections. He truly just wants to give you something you'll love. And again, they left our place clean and liveable every single night for those 2.5 weeks. He kept the oven range plugged in every day, never any loose material, not dusty at all, and completely safe for our small children. I have owed Nick a review for too long for the beautiful custom backyard he built for us in the…read moresummer of 2022, so here it is. Previously we were not using our backyard too often - we had huge leyland cypresses along our fenceline that absolutely choked any sunlight out of the backyard. We had moss everywhere, grass that struggled to grow in the shade and grew patchy, and some large magnolia trees that would constantly get damaged by the winter snows. We love being outdoors and spending time in our backyard, but wanted to upgrade the space. We worked with Nick to create a custom plan and redesign our backyard from the ground up, including a covered patio area with BBQ grill and flat top, mini fridge, and a beautiful stone fireplace. Nick's team wrapped the columns of the patio cover with stone, and laid it all out on a bluestone paved patio. He was also able to accommodate a hot tub, and finished it all off with lovely landscaping and plants. We even added a shed and wired it up as an extra entertainment room. Throughout the whole process Nick was patient and accommodating, and was flexible as we encountered problems or changes that needed to be made.
