I had a large lunch to cater at the last minute, feeding 35 people on a half hour notice is no easy task. I was able to get Condado to make up an amazingly tasty taco bar. Everyone enjoyed the meal and they included everything needed to put out a tasty taco bar. While waiting for my order the staff was extra friendly even offering to carry the food to my car. Everything was neatly packed into two large sturdy bags, making it easy to transport into my location. I can't say how appreciative I am of Condado tacos and they will be the first one I call in the future, of course with more time to prepare the food. read more

I went here with my kids for the first time and the manager was VERY unwelcoming. She was rude and acted like we burdened her. Later that visit, she was hanging around this one server and kept touching him inappropriately. She was also very rude to her staff. The restaurant smelled like a sewer mixed with tacos. Now let's move onto the food. The food was disgusting. so greasy. Not even my kid's wanted it. So we left and we will NEVER come back to this funny excuse for a restaurant. Had drinks and chips in 5 minutes. 30 min later, no sign of dinner. Multiple requests to get drinks refilled. Flagged down server and told him we had 20 min before we had to leave. He checked and said 5-7 minutes. 20 min later we stood up to leave. As we we putting coats on the food arrives. Told him we had to go. Ended up putting some of my queso on there too, because I'm obsessed with cheese, not because it needed it. There was a little flame next to it on the menu, I thought it would have a little spice, but I didn't find it spicy at all (good for me because I don't like spicy). I don't typically write reviews, especially negative ones. I work in public service, and I deeply respect and empathize with how difficult service jobs can be. I'm patient, kind, and understanding, especially with wait staff. But the experience I had with my family on the evening of April 9, 2025, at Condado Tacos at The Greene was so upsetting and, frankly, discriminatory, that I feel compelled to speak up. My husband, mom, daughter, and I arrived around 7 PM. There was no signage indicating whether to wait to be seated, and no staff in sight to clarify. It was our first time there, and the atmosphere felt casual, so we cautiously seated ourselves while continuing to look for guidance. Eventually, we identified two individuals who, though unidentifiable as employees due to their plain clothing and lack of acknowledgment, kindly told us it was no problem and brought over a high chair for our toddler, placing it at the end of the table, as is common practice in most restaurants. Shortly after, a woman, who we later learned was the manager, Brooke Rybicki, began walking by our table repeatedly, casting unmistakable, hostile looks toward me and my child. My husband, a detective, immediately picked up on her body language: sighs, eye rolls, and facial expressions filled with clear disdain. We could tell she was upset that the high chair was partially in the aisle, despite the fact that her own staff had placed it there and there was still adequate room to walk by. She eventually approached and, though polite in tone, insisted we move the chair. While feeding a toddler from the side, parallel to them, is difficult (any parent knows this), the way she handled the situation made us feel targeted and unwelcome. Things escalated when a friend stopped by our table briefly. I stepped into a more open area to speak with him, and again, her glare was so pointed and inappropriate that my husband, who rarely shows discomfort, was visibly unsettled. Then came the food. Mine was hot, my mom's was barely warm, and my husband's was ice cold, literally refrigerator-cold. Our waiter, Alex, was fantastic. Kind, apologetic, and genuinely professional. We made it clear to him that he had done nothing wrong and kindly asked if we could speak to the manager. We all witnessed him relay the message directly to Brooke. She walked past our table twice without acknowledging us, then finally returned and said, "Do you guys need anything over here?", despite knowing exactly why we'd asked to speak with her. When my husband told her his food was cold and asked if it was supposed to be that way, she gave an evasive and dismissive answer, stating "yes and no" and suggesting the toppings had cooled the food stating "it's only hot for so long." We're adults, we understand how temperature works. The meat itself was ice cold. She did eventually have it remade, but the attitude and energy remained dismissive and passive-aggressive. What's worse is that we were the only interracial family and only people of color in the restaurant at the time. I hate to assume motives, but there was no other clear reason for the repeated coldness and glares we received from Brooke. Maybe it was because we sat ourselves, maybe she doesn't like kids, but I left that restaurant with the overwhelming feeling that we were treated differently, and that treatment felt rooted in bias. We paid our tab, thanked Alex for his incredible service, and left quietly. But I want to be clear: if you are a person of color, have young children, or are in an interracial family, you may want to think twice before dining at this Condado location. No one should be made to feel unwelcome or scrutinized because of who they are or who they're with. Shame on this establishment for allowing such behavior in a leadership position. Condado, do better. Your guests deserve far more than what we experienced. read more

We ate here tonight with some friends and our kiddos. It has a nice wide open layout and the walls were painted murals that had the kids interested during the visit. The music was up beat and kind of louder than I would have liked since the adults were trying to chat. They had the football game on tonight so that was nice too. We ordered a bunch of food and a nice variety but unfortunately I only took pictures of my order and the queso cheese (after some bites were already taken ). Everyone agreed that ALL their meat had a "kick" to it. So if your kiddo is sensitive to foods stick with the cheese quesadillas because that was the only one the 6 year olds could handle. The ground beef with cheddar cheese was spicy too with the regular flour tacos. I got the Korean BBQ and Sweet Heat (so mine had an extra kick to them). They were delicious and the two tacos were enough to fill me up. My husband ordered four build your own tacos and they were a lot bigger than he expected our server was great and he really kept on top of our drinks; especially with the little ones needing 60 water refills because they thought everything was spicy. Let's hear it for the new kid in town. Dining alone, I bellied up to the bar and placed myself between plastic dividers. Do many drinks...so little time. I settled for the sparklng margarita and man oh man did it go down easy. Color me happy. Now...time to eat. So many choices. I finally settled on The Heater...tequila-lime steak, jicama+cabbage slaw , cilantro, pepper jack cheese, pickled jalapana, Also got a Bad Habit with steak, mexican chimichurri, habanero-cilantro lime aloli and mango sauce. Both were great tacos. I got a side of rice and beans and sour cream. Get sour cream...they are small. Rice and beans came in small plastic cups, which help more of both than it appeared at first. I dumped them into my basket to eat, mixing them together. One bite of the beans was ENOUGH...10 bell fire alarm!!!! Geeze they were hot. I will go back! Had Condados for the first time at a small get-together. Coming from Arizona I was a little apprehensive about the hard shells and flour tortillas, but I still gave it a fair shot. Neither the chicken nor the jackfruit really did anything for me. The chicken was kind of bland and the I'm not sure if I am just not a fan of jackfruit but it didn't really do anything for me either. Sat at the bar, bartender was nice and pretty busy. Ambiance was ok, nothing special but not bad either. However, this restaurant compared to other Condado Tacos is not good at all. There is not much meat in the tacos and they fill it up more with the toppings so when you bite in to it the taco is cold because all you taste is toppings and little to no hot meat and I love the brisket tacos but not at this location. They really need to step up their game as it reminded me of those TitToks where people complain how Chipotle doesn't give any meat in the burritos, well that is this location for sure. I will return to Condado Tacos but not this location. There aren't many restaurants that I feel welcome at. This area is predominantly white and finding food and culture that is inclusive and respectful with their service and management has been hard to find. I've now visited condado so frequently that it's become a go-to staple. Yes the food is great, but the atmosphere is so welcoming. I can't help but chat with everyone whenever we come in. I live north of Dayton, so coming here isn't convenient. It's so worth it though. The conversations had, feeling comfortable, accepted and respected means so much to me. We decided since it was such a lovely November evening to go over and wander around the Greene. Lots of the stores are closed up due to ten pandemic but luckily, Condado was not only open, but starting to get crowded which is good to see. We only had to wait a few minutes when a section of two seats were available at the bar. This place is pretty cool inside, lots of stuff to amuse your eyes as you wait, eat and enjoy some Eating out with your favorite people. With this being out 1st time here, Justin, of the the bar tenders told us all about the menu which can be a little complicated. You can choose, already planned menu items with very unique names or a 'pick your own' which can get a bit complicated. Drinks were food, no Pepsi or Coke products. They use an Ohio based cola company. We had chips and guacamole, be careful as the traditional contains jalapeño so it's a little spicy. The lovely Mrs ordered the Ju-Ju BYO(build your own) with braised brisket and it was pretty tasty. I ordered the 'plain Jane' and 'sweet heat' and they were both very tasty but... the plain Jane was better. It's too cold for us to get margaritas but we got to watch them make a ton of them and they looked delicious. We will go back. Fun place, good food and great service. read more
