Condado's a decent option to enjoy tacos at in the Cincy area. I appreciate how affordable each taco is and how customizable they are as well. There's even a build your own option so the limits are endless. I think we ordered the spicy chicken queso and it wasn't spicy they just added a drop of hot sauce to the top of it. The bowls are okay as they seem to be majority just rice. I think the simple queso and build your own tacos are the way to go if coming here. My hubby and I were asked to go for a late lunch with another couple and we all decided to go to Condado since none of us had ever been. (Of course they did tell me if it was horrible that they would blame me. Haha) Upon entering we noticed every square inch of the walls were murals painted in fun vibrant colors. It was pretty empty this time of day which was around 3 pm, so we got seated right away. Maddie was our waitress and she explained the menu and took our drink and appetizer orders while we poured over the menu. (She also said that there's a QR code you can scan on your receipt to sign up for rewards. I do love rewards lol.) *I'm including pics of the menu so you can see what they offer but, in short, you can build your tacos or bowls or you can choose some house specials. Appetizer came out right away. Nachos with queso dip. Super good. The queso had sliced jalapeño and looked like slightly cooked onions and peppers diced small in it. The chips were good too, not too fragile that they would break in the dip. I chose the bowl called The Southwest Midwest Bowl but got it with spicy ground beef. My friend got the same with chicken. Her hubby got shrimp tacos and my hubby got a Spicy Aioli Bowl. The food came really fast since we were one of the few there. The portions are big. They don't have salsa...I know-shook. But they did have a spicy red sauce that reminded me of enchilada sauce that Maddie brought to my hubby to pour on his food. My bowl was good. But it felt like it needed some oomph. I feel like plain white sticky rice can make a dish slightly bland if it doesn't have something substantial on top. The ground beef was ok. Texture was very soft, not too spicy. I think it just needed maybe some lime in the rice and salsa. It did have some corn, black beans , queso, cheese, lettuce and tomato but just a thin layer on top. So it was a-lot of rice that needed flavored with lime and maybe cilantro and more beans. That being said it was still good and I'll church it up at home when I re-heat it. Wife and I tried the downtown spot and now this one since we were i out this way to give it a second shot . Downtown was awful btw. Food was cold not sure if it was from the massive amount of cold toppings piled on or what . The drinks seem off /watered down or old ..we had a regular marg comes out a tap which is the first red flag batched marg this place is empty and tiny how lazy /slow are bartenders ? Priced high as well for quality not sure why they have so many in Cincinnati. Makes us think of taste of Belgium ...they are now down to one if that gives you a hint . My wife and I both mobile ordered the crunch box which comes with 4 tacos each and you get to choose your taco shell and filling. 2 beef with corn shell and Dorito shell and 2 with chicken and the same shell choice. I also got a chicken burrito (on accident I thought it was beef). The pickup was right on time and staff was very friendly. We both agreed the chicken portion of the meal was lacking greatly. There seemed to be no flavor at all and I kind of wonder if they even season their chicken or not. The beef portion however was very tasty. A funky place that I didn't know I was missing out on. If you want to try some different taco combinations and get some really good chips and queso, this is the place. My group of six was luckily able to get a table right away for Sunday lunch. The menu has a plethora of combinations with all different types of meats. You can also make your own taco or bowl. Our group got the chips and queso where you get three different types of queso. It was delicious and their chips are unique, a little thicker than the average tortilla chip. I got the Plain Jane and Ooey-Gooey tacos, both had chicken and both were hard shell. Plain-Jane was my favorite. I am usually a fan of Condado, but I have a feeling that the Oakley location is just not providing the quality and attention to the food that I am used to at the downtown location. I ordered Uber eats yesterday since I was craving their guacamole, but was left utterly disappointed. I spent $14 on the Elote bowl to be given something that barely even covered the bottom of the bowl. It was severely lacking flavor, was dry as hell and missing something as simple as a lime for extra flavor. I included the photo of the bowl that they advertise compared to mine, I think you can see that there is a clear difference. My husband's bowl was a different story, he enjoyed it, but we both agreed that there was a weird high level of vinegar in the guacamole and his kale bowl that was off-putting. I feel pretty turned off by this experience. Considering the prices and poor quality I will just stick to chipotle going forward. read more

I normally order take out from here every now and then however after the last few times I have ordered I will be staying away! I usually get the steak because it used to have a great flavor and texture however as of late it has so much seasoning on it - that it just tastes like salty spicy chewy crap. How disappointed I was last night after spending almost $16 to get double steak in my bowl just for it to be inedible because of how much seasoning on the meat there was. Normally the steak isn't so spicy you can't stand it. The bowl went in the trash. Besides the meat it was soggy, and the container had salsa leaking out of it and the lid was falling off in the bottom of the bag so it's a good thing it wasn't a rough car ride, or my food would have been in the bag not the bowl. I probably won't be back which is disappointing because I used to like this place more then chipotle but of course quality usually has to go downhill at some point. read more

I would like to update my review. A few weeks ago, the manager from this location contacted me through Yelp and wanted me to email him on the cleanliness of the restaurant. Apologized and wanted us to return when we are ready. I was given a gift card and my Mr. and I dined in on a Friday night. It was really busy and noticed that the restaurant was not messy (tables and floors were clean). Our server was a gentleman from the bar and was very attentive/friendly. We got there in time for happy hour so we got a pitcher of Margarita for $20.00. For appetizers we ordered the salsa verde. We sat there and enjoyed the drinks and chips. 20 minutes later we ordered our food. I ordered two build your own tacos with a side of street corn and my Mr. ordered the Lucy's Fire and Blue Dream with a side of beans. Got our food in less than 15 minutes. Everything was perfect. The service is always good here however the last time we dined in, the restaurant was not clean. I was glad that the managers listened and took this seriously. Hopefully they will keep it up. I went on a Sunday afternoon so it was not busy and the wait staff was nice. My favorite thing I got was the build your own nachos. As an appetizer or as a meal, you can load it up with all the toppings you like. I shared them with my friend as an "appetizer" and ordered one taco; by the time we were done with the nachos I was already full. They were so tasty I would go back and just get the nachos. Since our last visit to this location, my lady and I received a message from the customer service manager requesting that we reach out to them. My lady did so, speaking of how dirty it was when we went, and they definitely seemed to wanted to make things right and for us to visit again. I can't help but respect that kind of commitment with wanting to keep customers coming back. So we came back with a generous gift card from the GM. It was on a Friday evening, just in time for happy hour, and $20 margarita pitchers. Upon entering, we both noticed the place was a lot cleaner than our previous visit. They definitely stepped up their cleaning game. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We started with a pitcher of classic margaritas and an order of salsa verde. I really like that their classic margaritas are made with reposado tequila which gives them more depth of flavor. The salsa was super tasty and even the chips by themselves was delicious. After we finished most of the salsa and about half the margarita pitcher, we decided to order our tacos. My lady decided to do a build-your-own for two tacos, and I opted for two tacos (Lucy's Fire and Blue Dream) and a side of black beans. We also got a 1/2 size order of Mexican street corn. Jusr like our previous visit, the food was fantastic. But the food and service was never in question, it was the cleanliness that was the issue on our first visit, but they really MORE than made up for it with this visit. This experience definitely made up for our first one, so I could certainly see is going back again, and likely for happy hour again. Hard to beat a $20 pitcher of margarita with the quality of theirs. Not to mention their tacos are always great and the service top-notch. met up with a friend and his brother for lunch, didn't expect it to be so good! The service was a little slow, but they were extremely vigilant with cleanliness, social distancing, and wearing masks which is very much appreciated during the pandemic. They had ample outdoor seating with plenty of space between tables as well. The food though was the real star, and we got plenty of it. His brother and girlfriend each got some Sweet Lucy tacos which seemed incredible, and they were very happy with them. He and I both got bowls, we built our own andI piled on a lot of toppings but the waiter was cool with it, it came out with everything I had asked for. Unfortunately his came out with something he didn't ask for, then cluded beans in with his meal and he didn't ask for no beans. Instead of throwing any type of conflict about it they right away remade it and brought him out a new dish and asked if you wanted to keep the old one, which is so awesome because I hate food waste! That meal will go to somebody who wants to eat it, regardless of if my friend does. A fun little Mexican restaurant with many unique taco combinations to choose from and a large drink menu. They had plenty of seating inside and outdoors. They were well staffed the Saturday we went and were attentive. The food comes out pretty quick. One taco filled me up, but most people in our group got 2. The chips and queso were a good appetizer. From the design of the resturant, to the unique ordering method, to the awesome staff and incredibly delicious tacos! I would recommend Condado Tacos to anyone, especially if you are a taco fan. They have just about any taco you can imagine from proteins of jack fruit to proteins of beef barbacoa or pulled pork. One of my favorite resturants I visited while in Cincinnati for four days! Tried another Mexican Restaurant today and was very disappointed with Condado Tacos. I don't like leaving negative reviews but this place did not live up to the hype. The place is clean with bright graffiti on the walls and we were greeted with friendly host but the food is worse than Taco Bell! Ordered corn salsa and it came in a bowl so small you couldn't fit the chip in it....the refried beans looked like slop and there was no semblance of a bean in sight. My taco was unremarkable. The best part of our meal was the margarita and the service of our young waitress. She was on top of things and she did take our refried beans off the check without us asking. Kudos to her. I want to start by saying my friends and I love going to Condados. The food is great, and I don't want my review to detract from that. But the service today was terrible. We went in, excited to get some food and margaritas. And the host that greeted us was very kind. We were sat at a high top. And promptly ignored for 15 minutes. A party of four was sat next to us, and they were immediately greeted by the bar and offered waters. We kept looking around to try and find someone to greet us, but everyone was either on their phones or helping the bar. I want to make it clear that I don't consider myself a picky customer. I've worked waitressing jobs all through hs/college. I'm not anti relaxing/phone or anything. But sitting there for 15 minutes while getting ignored was a little ridiculous. We eventually decided to leave and go get sushi. The original host definitely realized, as we were leaving, that we had never been greeted. As the look on her face as we left was quite distressed. But oh well. Sad because I really wanted that smoked Gouda queso :/ read more

Condado Ever since the first Condado location opened years ago on the banks of Cincinnati I have been a fan. I will say this isn't my number one spot for tacos itself but if we're talking about EXPERIENCE this is one of my favorite places to come with friends. Don't expect an experience similar to Mi Cozumel, Condado takes a more modern approach to Mexican cuisine in its restaurant's design and atmosphere. Their margaritas are really good and STRONG especially when combining the flavors. Their dirty queso is one of my favorite things to order because the dirty sauce that comes on it is so good and so hot. This is a must-try for first-time visitors. I also enjoy the Pineapple Guacamole Street Corn has grown to be one of my staples and go-to's for small plates. My favorite taco is a tie between the "Ooey Goey" and the Sweet Lucy tacos. My favorite standalone margarita flavor is Blackberry My favorite combination is White Peach Banana My favorite location is the Oakley location because parking is much easier to navigate than the banks. Although I do enjoy the Banks location because it stays open later than the other locations. About a year ago when they launch the app they released a special statement that said they will reward the first 100 Condado customers to successfully place an order in the app and pick their order up with free tacos for a year! Of course, I chose the dine at Condado's for lunch in order through the mobile app early that morning shortly after finding out about the promotion through my mother. Not even 30 minutes after downloading the new Condado app creating a profile and placing my order successfully through the app I received an email notification congratulating me and stating that I had been selected as one of 100 recipients of free tacos for a year! I thought this was too good to be true so I visited the store and sure enough, I won! And so... For the last year, I have enjoyed one free taco per week. The promotion provides 52 weeks of promo codes inside the app on my profile for me to redeem. Initially, if I didn't use my weekly free taco code by the end of business each Sunday, the code would expire however Condado recently switched its stance and now allows the winners to stack unused taco codes for later use at their convenience. Having a free taco each week has made visiting Condado a very affordable and familiar trip for food.
