This place is delicious! However, mental note!!! We live in Canada and everything is the US is a lot bigger! I am from Toronto and was expecting Toronto size tacos. (Toronto = tiny tacos. You can eat 3 tacos and still be hungry) The tacos here are HUGE! If you order appetizers 1 taco...max 2 is good enough. Do not make the same mistake and order 4 tacos especially if you are visiting and do not have access to a fridge to take it home. I love the different flavors they offer! I ventured off and tried the tofu taco and it's so good! If I ever see this restaurant in any other city in the US we will come back. This time we will order less food. :) read more

We hopped in to check out the 614 week options at this location. This is my first time trying Conrad and enjoyed the Margarita and the Blue Marlin version. Our starter was the Mexican street corn dip that was so overpowering that it was off putting, I don't know if it was the cilantro or some other ingredient but you couldn't taste most of the ingredients. I had the Southwest Midwest bowl and it was fine, not a ton of flavor that stands out but also nothing that felt like it would hurt you after eating it on a 90 degree day. The service was ok, we had to ask a couple times to get a glass of water even though it wasn't very busy. We would likely go back but wouldn't be our go to for this type of food. read more

Went in for lunch yesterday while the entire restaurant was dead. The young girl who served and seated us was absolutely useless. I'm not sure if there's some sort of educational disability going on or if she was high but she should never be in a customer facing role ever again. She has zero personality or social skills and was a terrible waitress in general. We sat there starring at each other for 25 minutes waiting for the check while she sat up at the hostess stand talking to a coworker. We never got a receipt, or even the total. Asking for two to go boxes was an out of body experience, she seemed confused for a solid 3 minutes saying she didn't understand, and then brought out a doggy bag and a box that we had to stuff our food into. Nice spot close to Macy's in Easton town center. Closest parking is the lot commented to Macy's. Love the artwork on the walls! Very trendy taco place with some different looks on Mexican cuisine. The good: Our server was friendly, the "chips" (baked tortillas) and guac were good, they have a couple vegan options, and outside seating by the fountain is nice. The bad: a few things were just so off: ginger beer came out well after our other drinks because "the bar is working on it". However, what eventually arrived at our table was just a can of soda. Not even a glass or straw included. The vegan tacos were good flavor-wise... but both the hard corn and soft tortilla they were wrapped in was cold - like just-out-of-the-fridge cold! As were all the toppings. I was told this was a consequence of the requirement to keep all toppings chilled & fresh. While that may be the case, I can't think of a reason not to heat the tortilla or taco shell and frankly, it was super unappealing to eat cold taco, so couldn't finish. We came here when it was the start of dinner time and were seated pretty quickly. We came during Happy Hour and margs were half off and tacos were $1 off. When you order, you fill out little scantron looking sheets, with your taco, toppings, meats, sauces, sides, etc. Our waitress was nice, but she was not attentive at all. She never really check on us and we had to wave her down a few time for service. She also seemed to have forgotten our chip and salsa order, but said she put it in. We never got water refills or checks when we asked for them. Our food came out very slow and the meat was cold! The sauce made the tacos very watery and the taco was lacking flavor. The pomegranate margarita that we got was strong today and decent. As the night went on, the restaurant got packed and it was body to body. This is the first time I have ever been to this restaurant, and I was beyond impressed! I ordered "the heater" and "the Tradicionales" with a side of "Dirty Sauce" the tacos themselves were full to the brim with well seasoned meat, cheese, and peppers! The flavors this taco produced were unmatched to anywhere else I've ever been. The half dip I ordered was Mexican Street Corn, which was exactly what it sounds like and it was delicious. I could not get enough of it. The service from the moment we walked into the restaurant to the moment we left was pleasant, and welcoming. The server was knowledgeable of the menu, and all of my questions were answered. It was spotlessly clean, and the music wasn't too loud. You know I have a love, like relationship with condado. Their food is delicious- some of my favorite guacamole and make your own tacos. However the set up and service leaves much to be desired. I came here tonight with a fellow yelp friend for restaurant week. We didn't have to wait for a table, which was great! I ordered from their restaurant week menu- a watermelon margarita (delicious) guacamole (yum!) and a juju make your own taco with brisket. The food was great. However the server forgot our margaritas and my guacamole so we kept on having to flag him down to remind him. He didn't take our taco orders so had to flag him down to give it to him and had to flag him down again for our check. Condado is a good place to go for lunch or dinner. It is a create your own taco eatery. You get to pick the shell, meat, toppings, sauces, etc. They are sold per taco. The guacamole and chips is delicious. The chips came out warm. I got two tacos thinking it might not be enough but it was plenty. There is indoor or outdoor seating. I would prefer outdoors as the inside is a bit loud and hard to have a conversation. They have individual table seating and a long bar type seating. The waitstaff is good at explaining how the ordering process works. They are not very attentive after you order, and slow to refill drinks. 4 1/2 stars. There are a lot of Mexican and Taco places in South Florida, but I have to admit, Condado put all those places to shame. The place itself is nothing special. It's a large room without much ambiance and very loud. There are plenty of large tables so it is a good place for large groups. What I did love? The tacos!!!! My co-workers who had been there before first showed me the "build your own" menu. So much variety! So many configurations! I really could not wrap my head around so many choices. I was afraid whatever I did pick would not go well together. So I went with the "Taco Suggestions" page. Hey, let me blame this on some one else if this does not go well! I ordered two tacos and they were both huge. I bare finished both and I really think one taco would have filled me up! I ordered the Mantis: pulled jackfruit, cilantro-onions, tomatoes, Chihuahua cheese, & habanero/mango BBQ. I also ordered the Bubba Kush: pulled pork, jackfruit BBQ sauce, cilantro-onions, jicama-cabbage slaw, smoked cheddar, & pineapple salsa. Both tacos were not only filling but absolutely delicious! As appetizers our table ordered some Queso and Tuscan Guacamole. The Queso was fantastic and the Guacamole, with artichokes on top, has a great flavor. I could just tell it was not made fresh to order as it came out in about a second and was ice cold. Regardless, I would run to Condado for the tacos alone. Creative food and a fun place to hang out. Online ordering is the way to go with Condado. The hostess was quite apologetic about how long it took to turn around and pick up our order. A slightly puzzling development considering I spent under 5 minutes in the restaurant. Each order was individually packed. I went for the box meal, a great deal with chips and two tacos. The second order was two custom tacos with the Queso Blanco. The ability to now add up to three different cheeses to the taco is a plus. One caution about the boxes is to make sure you know what you are getting as their is not a description of the tacos on the ordering page. One of my options was a tad spicier than I would have typically tried if I was doing a custom order. read more

I came here with my buddy Nate the other day and the wait wasn't too long around brunch to be seated. He likes Condado Tacos so we agreed to meet here. It was my first time at a Condado location. I've heard a lot of great things about it from friends and reviews. The waitress was very nice and explained how to mark each item on the sheet for which taco and topping to choose from. She made some recommendations which were helpful. I went with the soft shell and beef brisket tacos with the sauce on the side which paired pretty well. My buddy and I also shared queso and chips which were pretty good. I didn't drink anything since it was lunch time and I don't do drinks around that time of day. Next time I come I do want to try the margarita's. I would also add the protein of the month to my taco, just to try something new. I also highly recommend signing up for the Condado card since you get points each time you come in here with the card. Other than that, I will have to give this place a try again soon! read more

I've been hearing about Condado for a while now and finally gave it a go. The food definitely lived up to the hype! As far as taco places go, this one is at the top of the stack. Portions are generous, the meat is tender and flavors are bold. I've visited this location twice so far and had excellent service each time. The choices for the build-your-own taco were overwhelming at first. I randomly picked some options that sounded good and I was pleasantly surprised with the end result. I believe you really can't make a mistake and the possibilities are endless. The restaurant itself is fairly noisy and dimly lit. Also, the taco order form is small print and super hard to read, so make sure you bring your glasses! read more

The decor is nice & the people are friendly. The problem is the food. Every Mexican restaurant adds some kind of vegetables to its food: salsa, onions, peppers, tomatoes, etc. Everyone knows those items are served at room temperature (or maybe a little cooler). Condado serves these item at an ice-cold temperature. They're so cold that they make the tacos they're served in cold too. The result is tacos that become ice cold within a minute of being served. When I pointed this out, I was told that the frigid temperatures were standard. When I then said the freezing onions made they whole taco cold, they said that's just how they're served. Who would want ice cold tacos? In addition, the pomposity of the kitchen to actually push the idea that customers have to eat the resulting cold food was beyond obnoxious. The tacos were really good. Nice vegetarian options. The nachos were loaded with rice, onion, jalapeños, chicken, & more. These were not the build your own nachos. Definitely shareable!! Too much for one person. The only con to the nachos is there isn't much cheese. They said the cheese is on top of the nachos which are underneath the mountain of rice & toppings. So not only are the nachos getting soft, you can't taste a bit of cheese. They had no problem bringing queso out for our tasting/dipping pleasure. We had a great server. read more

So I totally forgot there was a Condado at Easton until I walked by the other day. A little while later my tummy was rumbling so my fam and I decided to grab a drink and a bite to eat. My mama had never been to Condado's so my sis and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to show her its amazing taco goodness. Food is always good- I usually build my own nachos and they are piled up high- since we have kids we normally request to sit on the patio outside the fence since there is a water fountain right next to those seat, and the kids can just run around while waiting for the food. I sat down and Mary (my Bartender/Waitress) came over and explained the crazy menu to me and got me a water while I was looking things over. The second the Bubba was like an amazing match made in heaven. I will so go back just to eat this and maybe have 2 and something to drink. I have been to 3 out of 4 Condado locations in Columbus and I can appreciate the location of this one most! I live outside of the city, but commute in for all the great things Columbus has to offer. And yes, I would drive 30 minutes just for some amazing tacos and craft beer. The atmosphere is slightly different from the Short North and Downtown locations, because it's in a mall and a it's a lot more shoppers, families, and business people on lunch or leaving work. I have no problem with any of that, as I could fit into any of those categories. I am always entertained by the ordering system at Condado and the wait staff has been friendly and helpful both times I've been here. (but really, with the way you order, I don't really need much from the server- simply delivery of my food and drink). Being vegetarian, I love the options here. The jackfruit is decent, the portabello is great, and the Thai chili tofu is AMAZING. I crave this stuff and since having it, it's difficult to order any other protein. I like to vary it up on typoes of cheese, sauces, and vegetables to try different combinations. I have over-ordered twice from here (because I can not say not to chips and queso), so wrapping up your leftover taco, putting it in the fridge when you get home, and eating it for lunch the next day is a viable option. I swear, the taco tasted just as good the next day! I'll continue to come here, but honestly, it'll depend on where I am in the city to determine which location I drop in at- I'm not picky and all of the locations have been stellar so far. Condado has a new location at Easton. This is similar to the other ones. The biggest difference is there's better parking options. Considering how piss poor the parking at Easton can be, that's saying a lot. The food is still the same great tacos. I had the margarita and the vegetable taco. It's about $7 for a house margarita, and they have flavors you can pay extra for. They're all good. It has great food but the tacos are what they're most popular for. This is like the other locations where you choose from several flavors or you can make your own. It's about $3 for most. Tacos can be made with vegetarian friendly items like jackfruit, which has a meaty texture. It has lots of good salsas, many of which are actually hot. The ghost pepper isn't even the hottest if you can believe it. I like cheap tacos which are still good and you can get those at Condado. It also has great margaritas. I love condado and was surprised to see they had a location in Easton! This American Tex-mex place specializes in tacos and they even have a build your own version if you have picky eaters! We went here Saturday night and it was SUPER busy. We joined their wait and they said it would only be about 10 minutes, we waited about 15ish but really not bad for how busy it was. This location was extremely loud... I've been to several condados but this was the loudest one (so beware if you are not into that kind of dining experience). This place is super casual and many people come here to get drinks! My go-to order is the pineapple guacamole and Lucy's Fire tacos! The smaller size of the guacamole is enough for 2 people. Their pineapple salsa is really sweet and refreshing and pairs great with their guacamole. My favorite taco is theirs is the Lucys fire. It comes with their special crunchy shell inside of a soft flour shell with cheese separating the two. It's a shredded chicken taco with corn salsa and cheese. Overall, I think it's a great place to grab some margaritas and hang out with friends! It's an easy to place to eat at since I think even the pickiest eater could find something they would like. Be aware that some of their tacos (like the surf and turf) is super spicy. I've tried almost every taco of theirs and their seasoning just really depends on the chef at the location. read more

I got the Frozen Mango Margarita($9.50) and the Grand Classico($10), Three Buds Full Size Dips($22) -Dirty Queso, Elote Queso, and Guacamole, the El Santo Taco($4.35) (that is no longer on the menu as a specialty taco).The food was amazing and so were the drinks. My favorite items were the Frozen Mango Margarita, Elote Queso, and the El Santo Taco. They seemed a little understaffed so be sure to be patient with them. It is limited to meter parking or few parking lots in the surrounding area which require more of a walk. They have a very casual setting with a cute patio. They have large tables for big groups or smaller tables for a few people. They also have bar seating along with higher tables and lower tables to suit your comfort needs. The menu is quite simple and Mexican themed. On this visit we were quickly sat by a super friendly hostess and then greeted by a server who patiently took our drink orders. We ordered a round of margaritas perfectly crafted in mason jar like cups. We also ordered chips, queso and salsa. The chips tasted freshly fried. Yum! The queso was a little watery but delicious to say the least. I wished it stayed on my chip. Overall this location is a hit.
