Took a trip to Condado Tacos at lunch on a Saturday to check it out. The inside is painted in the most awesome neon colors, great artwork! The three buds appetizer was amazing!! My husband couldn't stop talking about it on the car ride home. My verde chicken bowl was really good and contained a lot of food in it! Great flavor combination and protein packed! My husband said his tacos were fantastic! Bad Habit, Blue Dream and Braised & Confused were the ones he got. We didn't get any alcohol and just went with soda. Our server was awesome! Her name on the receipt says AM B, not sure if that's really her name or just referring to am servers? She did a great job and was very attentive. My family came for dinner. I got the fire roasted street bowl which was very filling- it didn't have as much flavor as I wanted so I added some guacamole and queso and that helped. I had never been, even though there are few around Indy. I went in for lunch on a weekday and did not even realize that it was a restaurant. I assumed it was an order-at-the-counter type of taco place. When I arrived at 12:30, there were few tables occupied, but they quickly filled up. The menu is extensive with several options. This restaurant is part of a small local chain. It is located in a small strip mall and has an adequate amount of parking available in the lot it shares with the other businesses in the mall. There is a decent amount of seating available in the restaurant's dining area, which also has a full bar with seating. You will see a couple of television mounted above the bar. They had football on while I was there. The restaurant has a hip vibe and is decorated with murals, which covers the walls, from various local artist. They offer happy hour deals on weekdays, from 3PM to 6PM. They have chips, which you can get with styles of queso, salsa and guacamole, but it is not free. Their menu mainly consists of tacos, as you would expect. They have signature beef, chicken and brisket tacos. Or you can make your own. I kept it simple and ordered a Lucy's Fire, a Korean BBQ, and a Blue Dream. The bar has tap and bottled beer, a wide range of margaritas and a few signature cocktails. I got the seasonal margarita, the Frozen Blue Marlin. It was very good. It took about 8 minutes for me to get my food. It was fresh, hot and delicious. I liked the Korean BBQ the best, but they are all really good. They were packed with flavor and can get a little messy (but that is a sign of some good food in my opinion). I sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly. I felt that her attentiveness dropped at the end, After I was done eating, I was going to order another drink and taco, but I waited about 10 minutes, while she took everyone's order around me. I took it as a sign that I did not need any more food and drink and just got my check and left. I am sure that is just a fluke, because the service was great while I was eating. I used to really like Condado so I was excited when I heard a south side location was coming. Is it authentic? No. But the food was always pretty good and they had excellent sauces. It's been a few years since I have eaten at one, but stopped in for dinner over the weekend. I left thinking it was ok and not nearly as good as I remembered. I had chips, queso and a build your own taco with the juju shell. They used to have a fun scantron type of menu but now have regular menus you order from. The chips were not great. Kind of thick and tough. I would not order them again. Queso was just ok and definitely needed the chorizo I added on or it would have been flavorless. My taco was fine. The juju is a hard and soft shell with chorizo and cheese and I added in rice and beans and topped it with chimichurri. This has been my go to taco here for a few years and truthfully, it just didn't taste the way I remembered. It was not bad, but I thought it was pretty much on par with Chipotle across the street but maybe not even as flavorful. No complaints about my server or the hostess. They got me taken care of and seated right away. The food was pretty fast getting to the table too. Always love the decor and funky art, but I think maybe my days of eating here are going to be few and far between now. Love the bowls. I've been to Condados twice now. My favorite was the Swole bowl. I would have given 5 stars, but the chips aren't very good. I've had the chips with salsa both times I've been. The first time I just thought the chips were a little stale due to us going at an off hour. The second time I got the chips and salsa the chips were still not good. They aren't free either. I'll go again because I love the bowls they're great and huge. I think I'll skip the chips though. Service was great both times my husband and I ate there. This place is new to the south side and I'm so excited to have one close to home with a private parking lot. Even better they are open til midnight. The artwork on the walls is amazing and done by some very talented artist. Take a min to look around. Upon entering we were promptly greeted and given our choice of outside, high top or low top table. They also have a full bar top you can sit at or just come in and enjoy a drink We were immediately greeted by our server AJ. She was extremely sweet and patient while we made our drink decisions. I highly recommend requesting her. I chose the seasonal margarita which was the frozen blue marlin. It was flavored with pineapple and blue curaçao. It was tart and very well balanced. I liked it so much that I ordered a second one. Hubby chose the smoke show and wow was it Smokey tasting but it was enjoyable. His second drink was the Tropicalil it was very coconut forward and strong. He enjoyed it though and would order both again especially the Smokey one For an appetizer we chose the three buds which is where you choose any 3 dips from the queso, guacamole and salsa list. You can do either half orders or full orders. We chose half which was more than enough for 2 of us. We opted for the elote guacamole which was amazing probably the best guacamole I've ever had. It's your traditional guacamole with corn and tajin and cheese on top. We got the smoked cheddar queso and dirty queso. The dirty queso has chicken and black beans in it. All 3 were amazing options. Taco reviews Lucy's fire: has a double taco shell the inner one is suppose to be firecracker however I didn't find it spicy. There was a decent amount of chicken inside with cheese, Cilantro, onion, and corn salsa. It was very good and had great flavor. Purple Haze: double shell with chorizo, sweet chili sauce, cabbage, queso fresco and cilantro and onion. It was a little sweet but overall a pretty good taco Sweet heat: this one was our least favorite and we aren't quite sure what it was that was off putting. It has pineapple salsa and a mango sauce. The meat is brisket which was tender. Definitely wouldn't order this one again The heater: steak was tender and juicy, the chimichurri was very strong with vinegar. Overall a good taco. As far as tacos go I've had better I've had worse. I do feel like they could put more toppings on them esp when you're paying roughly 5+ dollars a piece. We each chose a small side to add on to ensure we got to try a little of everything as we haven't been to one of these restaurants in quite some time. The refined beans with bacon were really good and creamy however they are spicy. So if you don't like spicy I would definitely stay away from them. The small order of tots you get 3 hash brown balls fried to perfection with queso and jalapeños. They were so good. Really, really happy with my first visit here. They are very allergy-friendly and take extra precautions to make sure you're taken care of, which I was very grateful for. Even the signature items were well accommodated. I tried the Sweet Heat and Lucy's Fire tacos. While both of them were pretty incredible, I'm blown away by Lucy's Fire. (That's no knock on Sweet Heat - she was just overshadowed on this visit.) Service was excellent. Dining area is really open, could be a bit noisy with a big crowd but the weekday lunch scene wasn't too bad. Definitely will be making another trip here! read more

The store had graffiti all over it - super neat everywhere you look. It's bright and airy and has a lot of seating! We visited the new Condado Tacos on US 31 where Giordano's use to be It was busy but we got a table in about 10 minutes. When we sat down we both immediately looked at each other and both said that their small metal chairs were very uncomfortable! My big butt did not even fit on the chair and the back just didn't hit your back right... oh well... We ordered the Skywalker's Nachos and they came out really fast! And they were delicious big portions so my wife was content to just have the nachos. I also ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch Taco it was fantastic!! It comes with both a hard and soft shell. I also tried 2 of their hottest sauces which were good too! The atmosphere is very loud, but all the employees were nice. We will have to try it again read more

If I could leave no stars I would, but they will receive one star for the amazing Cactus juice drink. It was awesome and reminiscent of Sorrel. Now the guacamole with the elote was pretty good, just a bit too much lime. The tacos... were horrible. Vomit worthy even. I literally took a bite, gagged then spit it out. The name was the heater and the meat was burnt and inedible. The sweet heat was much too sweet and just as bad. The brisket did not have any seasoning and was a waste of money. My husband was equally upset with his tacos. We took one bite of each then left the rest. Our server saw the full uneaten tacos and didn't say a thing... she just offered us more food to buy. After wasting $50 plus a tip... I am done with this company. Yuck and yuck. I make authentic tacos at home that kill these recipes. Don't even bother. The food is gross. read more

we had 2 shrimp and 2 chicken, ranch, tacos, which were very good but everything was price separately. Our bill came to $105 for senior citizens. That is way too much for two tacos, a piece, and a drink of . Margarita. we had chips and then we had three different sides déjà, salsa, and queso and guacamole again charging us separately. This business had better come down on their price or they are gonna go under. We went on a Sunday evening about 5 o'clock and there was only two other families in there then just me and my husband, this place is really made for young adults not for senior citizens. Ambiance- cool place, nice art deco in the walls. Service- very attentive service, server was very nice and food was out fast, got refills without having to ask. Food- we all got rice bowls. The steak was ok not great. It had some chewiness to it and some grizzle, there wasn't much of it either. Plenty of rice tho, ground beef rice bowl same thing not much meat at all.
