I had been to other Cozumel locations but this was my first time here. I had an absolutely great experience at this location! I walked in an hour early and asked if they could fit a group of 9 people in an hour and they said yes and had the table all set up and ready when we arrived. Our server was super friendly. I arrived before everyone else and we chatted a bit and he made me feel welcome and gave me a few food suggestions. My friends and I ended up ordering a couple pitchers of margaritas and I had a shrimp burrito. The margaritas were fine but the food was absolutely delicious! I loved my meal so much and was talking about it the rest of the weekend. My meal was fresh, flavorful, and rich. My friends all loved their meals too. Very fast service and good. I ordered a ton of food and it was out within 10 min on a Sunday afternoon. Delicious watermelon mojito. Free chips and medium spicy salsa first. Great service- I've been here three times since they opened and each waiter has been attentive, personable, and made menu suggestions. I made sure to pay attention to the interactions occurring between staff and other tables - it seemed consistent. Our order also came out in great time. 2. Flavors- we ordered the chicken fajitas for Two and it was flavorful and a humungous portion. The seasoning was on point and the star for me was the refried beans. I like them but I've never loved them. My girlfriend and I were both amazed at the light flavor and seasoning of the beans. 3. The parking here is insane! There are so many people zooming in and out of this tiny space it's bound to cause an accident sooner or later. I wouldn't even try to use their parking because it's an automatic headache and it's a very tight space to turn around in. I can't speak on the food because we didn't eat here. We sat at the bar and talked to the bartender. He was nice enough but the drinks were a little on the weaker side. The margaritas had a slight artificial lime taste to them and that's when we decided we would eat elsewhere. However someone next to use ordered fajitas and I will say they did smell good. Excellent Mexican food at Cedar Lee (across from movie theatre)! a great addition to the area's restaurant supply! We've had a few lunches here, super fast -- hot -- fresh -- great pricing -- two can have lunch as low as $17. Even with drinks and appetizers, we were out of there for $32. The margaritas are HUGE, very strong & delish. Guacamole was top drawer, a sizable portion for only $4. The chips & salsa are way above average. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! (Note: they have their own small parking lot, which is a blessing because the Lee Rd garage is now nearly inaccessible.) read more

Absolutely love this place for some casual mexican food. The staff were so nice in accommodating my young daughter. The chips were addicting! We happened in during a down period (3pm) and sat at the bar. Nice bar, decent Mexican beer and tequila selection. Gran Centenario is a favorite, so nice to see it behind the bar. It was even nicer to see it in my class accompanied by a Pacifico with lime. My wife had a Herradura. . We chatted with the owners for a bit. Juan gave us a shot of tequila from the house barrel. Very tasty. He also gave us a tasters of a flavored gin that might go well in a mixed drink, but on its own, tasted like a jolly rancher. They greeted us with a bowl of tortilla chips and a mild and a hot salsa. I had the tacos Al Pastor, and these were great. No chunks of pineapple, which aren't my thing. Corn taco shells. My wife had chicken taquitos. They reminded me of chicken and dumplings with a tasty sauce. Gotta dig up my mom's recipe. Service was great, but the place was mostly empty. Everyone was friendly and there was a positive energy about the place. Looking forward to going back. read more

My husband and I dined at this location this evening. Our experience could best be described as underwhelming. Walking into the restaurant for the first time was a big disappointment. The interior of this space used to be so beautiful and unique. Now it just looks cheap. There is a lovely, colorful mural on one wall, but the other walls are mostly bare. The tables and chairs look like they came from Value City Furniture. The lighting is quite harsh. The tables have nothing on them; no salt and pepper, hot sauce, or drink menus. The salsa was very fresh-tasting. The chips were good, too. I ordered a Bloody Mary and the Enchiladas Cozumel (shrimp enchiladas), which came with rice, shredded lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream. My husband got a la carte ground beef enchiladas with rice. My drink was par for the course price-wise ($8.25), but pretty tasteless and without much alcohol as far as I could discern. It came with a lime wedge, nothing else. My enchiladas were ok, nothing special, and some of the shrimp tasted a little off. The rice was bland and appeared to be made from Minute Rice. My husband's food was, again, just ok, nothing special. The service was the only thing that didn't disappoint us. Our server was pleasant and attentive. I'm hoping that most of the issues with this place can be chalked up to the fact that they've only been open for a few weeks, and that things will improve in the coming months. read more
