This place has really gone downhill... We have ordered takeout multiple times in the last few months and it continues to get worse each time. Usually the tacos are ice cold, like they just have ingredients sitting in the cooler and don't bother to reheat or cook at all?? We've also had times where they have forgotten to put any sauces or toppings on, or the order is just plain wrong. A few weeks ago really took the cake when we got tacos delivered that were SHELL ONLY with no meat and a little bit of sauce and cheese. Completely unacceptable and the management basically said there was nothing they could do since we ordered through a delivery app. Still some serious mistakes made by their employees that need to be addressed, regardless. I've been coming to Condado for quite some time now and have ordered more take out than I would like to admit during the whole COVID-19 pandemic. I basically lived off of their Bud Boxes so I hope they do not get discontinued. My coworker and I decided to stop after work for dine-in and we were welcomed back with open arms. I was pleased to see new taco suggestions on the menu so I had to try the sweet heat and my go to Lucy's Fire (still my favorite). We also had the dip trio with queso blanco as an appetizer that came with chili pounder and jalapeños in it, the dirty queso and the pico de quaco guacamole. Our server Aaron was very friendly and conversations and offered many great suggestions on the menu. I ordered a banana margarita that a previous server had recommended to me and I was very skeptical and now I am hooked! 10/10 recommend Condado. Can't wait to come back!! read more

Visiting from out of town and after trying three other places on a Saturday this was the first place we were lucky enough to find a spot at at the bar for three. Hostess was super nice. Bartender i think his name was Joey (but not sure) was very nice and attentive and the bar was full. We got the guacamole which was amazing. We each made our own bowl which was also very good. The only issue with mine is i had to ask for extra steak as they didn't give much. And they promptly sent out more steak. We had a great time. Food, service and atmosphere were great!! read more

Condado has helped to keep me well fed during this COVID-19 global pandemic. I'm a super fan of their bud box ($10) which is two tacos and a half size order of guac or queso (with their delicious chips). SUCH A DEAL! You can also add a margarita for an extra $8.50. The margs are pretty tasty. I reeeeaaaally like the el Santo tacos (though they don't travel too well. There's a double layer shell -- soft wrapped around a hard. The hard shell ends up getting soggy if you don't eat it right away. But even soggy, it's delicious). I also usually built my own taco stuffed with the Thai chili tofu because it's amazing. I was in a group of four late night on 9/4, Saturday night, with one waitress in the upstairs dining area and we were seated, waited on and served quickly and the food was great. I've eaten at or gotten pick up from this location several times before and during the pandemic and there were no issues and the food was still always delicious. read more

I looove Condado and I've eaten at the downtown location many times! They never disappoint. This review for the Lawrenceville location is solely regarding their online ordering and my pickup experience. Last night we placed and order online for dinner and it said our order would be ready in 15 minutes. Literally 15 min later, I received a text saying our order was ready. I quickly ran in to pick up the order and it was waiting right up front with the greeters. It was jam packed in there, but it is beautiful and colorful in this location- art is similar to the downtown location! Condado got our order correct, which is always a plus! The thing about this place that stood out to me is the happy hour drink prices and how great the cocktails taste. Got seated right away on a busy Saturday lunch. Wife had a brisket bowl and I had a Lucy chicken taco and a brisket taco. I really liked the soft taco over the crunchy shell on both. The tacos were both spicy but not 'hot' and the bowl was not spicy at all (perfect for my wife). It was all very good. We had chips with street corn dip and guac. The guac was the only thing we had that was average...everything else was amazing. A pretty nice, small and happening place. We (a group of 12 friends) reserved two tables on a Friday evening. There was a wait time of -45 minutes (expected on a Friday evening). We ordered queso blanco with guacamole and cheese dips. They were nice. All of us ordered different kind of tacos. Tacos aren't super expensive (they shouldn't be) here and one taco isn't enough for one person. I ordered Lucy's Fire and Dutch Dragon tacos and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Don't remember what my friends ordered but most of them were happy with their taco. We also ordered a pitcher of Margarita (one pitcher equals 5 half-filled glasses, rest is ice), then ordered another pitcher. The margarita was nice too. I really liked the ambiance, it certainly gives out a vibe of a really hip and happening place and it was so nice to start our weekend at a place like that. This place sits on the main drag of Lawrenceville right across the street from Industry Public House on the corner. It is right next to a pay to park lot ( has about 8-10 parking spots) other than that you have to fend for yourself and try to park on the street! It has a weird layout with large tables and a bar up front, a room in the back by the kitchen, and seating in the basement (that has windows surprisingly)! The service was awesome and the staff was super friendly even during hectic times! The guacamole and queso were amazing and I could have just ate that! The graffiti on the walls and the vibrant atmosphere makes it a place to stay at and bullshit with your friends for hours on end! Highly recommend and will be back! read more

The Lawrenceville Condado hits it out of the park when you have a craving for tacos, guac, queso, or anything else in that ballpark. The cocktails and margaritas are always satisfying, as are the chips and salsas. The tacos are a nice choose-your-own-adventure approach, but they have a number of pre-built options to keep you from being overwhelmed. The service can sometimes leave something to be desired, whether you're sitting at a high top or the bar. It's hit or miss, with slow service or inattentive waitstaff, but if you're there with friends and are find chatting and not in a rush, you won't be disappointed. I'd rate it 4.5 if Yelp would let me, though it doesn't quite seem deserving of a 5 in my book. I'll be going back anytime I get that taco craving though!! read more

Condado is one of my favorite taco spots - you generally get fast service and if you don't do alcoholic beverages it's very reasonably priced. I was excited when they opened up a spot in Lawrenceville - going downtown is always kind of a pain, and Larryville is close enough to my office that I can pop in for lunch tacos. Quality for this location is equal to downtown - food is always good, service is great, environment is loud and upbeat. The big positive of this location over downtown is that I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a table, whereas I've stood waiting for an hour at the downtown location. Worth it, but I'd rather not! Favorite things to get here - I'm a big BYO kind of person, and I almost always opt for the Thai chili tofu and the roasted portobellos as my protein. I vary with filling but always something crunchy (red cabbage or jicama + cabbage slaw), always cilantro and onions, and the pineapple salsa goes really well with the Thai chili tofu. Guac and chips every time, their guac is really good! I don't bother with drinks here though - every margarita I've gotten tastes like mostly mixer. read more

I love Condado! Seriously, can this place do any wrong? I mean, it probably can, but it would be your own fault! Let me explain... You put your own taco together with a handy sheet you fill out. Add in all the fixin's between meats, veggies, cheese and so many good sauces. Ugh, the sauces! I love their brisket, pork and shrimp the most. I always end up making a taco with a variety of different sauces, but I do love the crema the best. They also make a killer gauc, so that's a must! The only miss I can see is the queso. It's a little too runny for my taste, but still flavorful. Which is weird. I'll still eat it, don't get me wrong! Their margaritas are also fabulous. You know those super sweet syrupy margs?
