Every time I visit, when I walk through the door I have to urge to say, "Hola! I'm home!" Hola is such a beautiful establishment. Although parking could be a nuisance during peak times, it's a place I would still recommend for delicious authentic Mexican cuisines. They have recently added a speakeasy to their Lakewood location. The service during non-peak times are great but, any other day, be prepared for a hit or miss ordeal with your service. I waited for hours to receive a cold meal on during a visit on last year's Cinco de Mayo.

I was with a group of 5 that came around 2pm on a Saturday and it was pretty busy but we were able to get a table. All the seating is outside so makes for a fun vibe. We shared the queso and guacamole. The guacamole was sooo good. Lots of lime and was just perfect. I got the Birria Taco and it was really good. My husband got Cholo taco which for vegetarian was actually really good and the carne asada which was good. Servers were nice. Great spot.

Fun spot to eat at. It has outdoor seating mostly and a couple of tables inside. The food was delicious. Very small menu options but honestly so good. The staff is friendly and the restaurant although small and cozy, was clean. They serve toco"s that taste authentic. Give it a try!!

We'd driven past several times and saw the adorable garden patio area, and we finally got around to visiting! We went for lunch while it was snowing, so we sat inside by a heater, but we totally felt like we'd been transported to a warmer place by the fun decor and music. We tried the birria tacos with the consomme to dip (which is extra, but absolutely required), the chicken tinga, and the carne asada. Everything was so delicious, and the tacos were well loaded with meat and very filling. We also had the rice and beans, which had a lovely smokiness and were really good too. Fair warning: the prices are a bit high. We had two tacos each and a couple of sides and our bill was about $40 after tax and tip. But we definitely felt like it was worth it, with the fun vibe and the delicious food! Our waiter also told us that they're going to be opening up a bar this summer, so keep an eye out for that!

Hola tacos has a really cute seating area right off the bat. You can sit out by all the picnic tables, but they also have another area basically under a tent that's decorated very cutely and is really nice for pictures! The server was really nice and attentive, always making sure we had what we needed, and offering things she thought we would want. And the food itself, although a bit more expensive than I thought was worth, was very good! I've seen a lot of people raving about the quesabirria so we got that and it met expectations. But I think the star of the show was the street corn, I would definitely go back for it. And it gets even better if you add queso with it. We also got the Mexican ramen which was not my favorite. The broth was good but the ramen was literally just packet ramen they added to it. Still very good but just not worth it in my opinion.

Food is delicious. Quesabarilla is delicious and so are the street tacos. Tried the al pastor or barilla (beef). Both were so good. No complaints.

If you are driving through the area, would recommend you try to swing by and grab some birria tacos!! $4.50 each, I got two with consome dipping sauce - $3. Make sure to get the consome, they also provide guacamole, hot sauce and sour cream. All you need is the dipping sauce. The taco was excellent, the saltiness of the cheese was awesome and consume dipping sauce brought all the flavors together!! If you have time, dine in, they have outdoor seating. Since I was on my road trip, I ordered ahead... said it'd be 35 minutes, which worked out perfectly. The place wasn't busy, order was ready, picked it up was going to eat in my car, but opted to seat at the outdoor bench. Parking is limited, I did street parking. Next time, will do dine-in for sure.

Been craving Birria Tacos and I was completely WOW'd. The quesadilla was so filling, we took that to go cause we wanted to still eat the tacos. The tacos are $6 per, but it's like you're eating x2 $3 tacos in one. Service was great, and the vibe was so "summer" and it was perfect to end our day. The containers are perfect for a quick to go as well.

Chile Colorado Burrito -- Chicken Tinga inside. I did not add beans to my order ($10.25). 13 August 2020.

Those birria tacos are popular and rightfully so. The birria ramen is a must have in fact, it's actually my favorite thing on the menu.

BEST FAST CASUAL MEXICAN IN A MILLION WAYS!!…read more If you are looking for a faster & more authentic Mexican place than chipotle/moes/qudobo/ etc... this is it!!!! This is some of the best fast casual mexican food in the Cle area - def still has some American influence (no tamales) but still definitely better than some of the others around Cle! They have birria tacos, bowls, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, etc!!! With more authentic options for topping! Sides: queso, esquites (the street corn), many salsas, guac, chips, etc. For drinks they have: Jamaica, horchata, Mexican Coke, jarritos, and alcoholic options!!! I come here way more often than I would like to admit but it never gets old! This time I got a burrito to split (bc trust me they are BIG) - and look at how gorgeous this thing is... I already miss it!!!! Staff are always smiling and wonderful! They can always help if you have a question! Lakewood location I believe is a little smaller but they have like 7-8 tables inside still and a beautiful patio outside for when the weather is nice!!!! DEFINITELY recommend this place!!!!!! I'll see you there

For my recent visit to their Lakewood location in June 2026, I ordered 1 steak taco and 1 shrimp taco. I got it to go and ate it in my car before going to the Lakewood library. Sadly, most of the contents of the shrimp taco had shifted and fallen off the tortilla while I was driving but I still enjoyed the taco. The shrimp and steak taco were good. I preferred the shrimp taco and I think I'll get 2 of those next time. The steak one was okay because the steak was tough to eat (slightly hard in texture) and not as juicy or tender. I enjoyed my taco toppings of corn, tomatoes, and cilantro. The mango habanero sauce was flavourful too but I didn't use too much of it. For some reason, I forgot that it would be spicy...LOL. I'll certainly be back. Prices are reasonable and their menu is extensive. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 131/250 total reviews in 2026 - 972 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 17 June 2026

The restaurant is large and open with a nice bar area with ample seating. Very vibrant and colorful. Everything was excellent. The server brought a basket of warm tortilla chips and a large bowl of salsa to our table. I ordered the Pollo Costeño with spanish rice on the side. It was a flat grilled chicken breast topped with bacon, cheese, and pineapple, such an outstanding combination of flavors. The sweet pineapple with the savory bacon and melted cheese worked so well together. It was slightly salty for my personal taste, but overall still very good. It came with guacamole, tomato, and lettuce on the side. I would've loved if it included flour tortillas to turn it into a wrap, but that's just a personal preference. My husband ordered the fajita burrito, and it was huge! He absolutely loved it and said it was packed with flavor. It was so big he even had leftovers to bring home. One of my sons ordered the tamale with rice and black beans combo, and my other son kept it simple with two à la carte bean burritos with queso cheese on top served with refried beans and Spanish rice on the side. Overall, it was a great family dinner with flavorful food and generous portions. We all took leftovers home. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!
