After reading great reviews we decided to try this place out. It is cash only. We left to get cash and came back because the place looked busy which usually means it won't disappoint. I LOVE ice cream. This was a huge waste of time and money. The ice cream was mediocre at best. We would have been better off getting soft serve from McDonald's or a sundae from Dairy Queen. Around $6 for a small sundae with more than half of it being whipped cream. read more

Ice cream flavors were abundant and the taste was pretty great however the entire experience was wicked. Last night we took our kids there after dinner around 7:45pm. The staff looked young, maybe teenagers and clearly they have no excitement for their job. One gal in particular was down right crabby, snotty and couldn't produce a word or smile to save her life. She walked over to us and just stared. No "hi what can I get for you" or anything. I asked her if she worked there and if she was ok? No reply, no smile of any kind just a blank look with a snotty attitude. I finally told her she could say hello and give me a smile which pissed her off even more. I don't care if your 17 or 18 years old. I don't care if your having a bad day. I don't care if you hate your job. Don't take it out on the customers. She displayed such an entitlement energy and quite frankly, we won't go back. That's how horrible it was. There are other places I would rather support with great customer service. read more

The ice cream was good, but the service was not. The young employees were awesome, then the owner, or who I'm assuming was the owner came in. She yelled at the girls and literally called one stupid in front of me and about 2 other families. You could tell everyone was uncomfortable. I will never go back. I've been to Cone Heads a few times before writing this review. My biggest issue is the inconsistency in the quality. My boyfriend and I live in the island and we both enjoy a good ice cream sundae. Months ago we went and were both shocked a bit by the price but happy with the quality. The second time we tried hand dipped ice cream instead of the soft serve--it was awful. We went back again today and tried to order a hot dog for lunch to try that but they didn't have any cooked. So we ordered two sundaes with hot fudge and strawberries. We were instead given two sundaes with hot fudge and strawberry ice cream--the hand dipped kind again. It was so frozen and freezer-burn tasting we couldn't eat them. Some of the strawberries in the ice cream were hard as a rock like ice cubes. We will be satisfying our sweet tooths elsewhere from now on. read more

This place was recommend to me by a waitress at restaurant I ate dinner at (The Conch House. DELICIOUS!) and they didn't disappoint. There was a long line that moved quickly. This ice creams are best ever. Full of flavor and very rich. My husband and I ordered 2 scoops each and couldn't finish. They have the waffle cones which are so crispy and tasty. It's few mins away from the st. Augustine beach so you can drive or walk. They are also open until 10pm so very convinient. You have to try it. read more

The toppings in the hotdogs were good (the cooked onions in tomato sauce were delish), but the hot dogs themselves weren't all that great (seemed like they had been sitting there awhile). Instead of handing me my change back she set it on her register which has always been a sign of bad customer service to me. Usually the ice cream isn't bad but this time I went in it was hard to get the workers attention after the initial "hello." I said I needed a moment and it was like they gave up entirely, lol. I ended up settling with a safe and simple strawberry ice cream flavor, but it wasn't safe at all. The strawberries inside were literally ice cubes. I don't know what they did but they tasted and felt like chunks of ice, not fruit. Was pretty disappointed especially after dropping 6 bucks on it. read more
