I arrived as they were opening for the day. Counter help was friendly and ready to meet the work day. He was responsive and efficient and made our order quickly. Such friendly staff right when we walked in, and such easy service. I am celiac gluten free and the staff made sure to dig from the sides of the ice cream for samples and clean the spoons for limited cross contamination. I love this place! My favorite is the Bella Fonte - a waffle with Nutella and strawberries with whipped cream on top and it's absolutely delicious! We went to the Downtown one years ago and loved it so much that we were so excited one is on A1A now(don't have to worry about parking lol!) the restaurant is huge and the decor/art work is so fun! If you are wondering if there are celebrities on the wall-you are right! We were looking and I was like "well that looks like William Dafoe and that one looks like a Jeff Goldblum" it's because it was them! So we went to the other location in downtown St. Augustine the day before and the kids insisted they needed another shake. This location is much bigger with more seating and seemed like more ice cream options because they were out on display. They also had to-go pint options and I noticed cones for the ice cream that I do not believe the other location offered, which is all great, but the service and presentation was not as good as the other location. We tried the electric jellyfish this time and it looked a bit different from the electric jellyfish at the other location, we had seen another guest get, but I assume they were the same.
