The first is simple and contemporary, the second involved an intricate pattern of colorful tiles forming wall-size images. Sara worked with us on the design, asking many questions to understand our aesthetic aims and practical needs, and offering a variety of options for us to choose among to achieve our goals. She also provided a variety of very effective ideas and solutions, considering the physical constraints of the (relatively small) spaces, to ensure the best use of spaces and to create a very open feel in both bathrooms, all in a cost-effective manner. The actual construction was done in an extremely professional manner by workers who were not only highly-skilled but also friendly, considerate of our needs, and responsive to our questions and concerns as the projects progressed. Particularly impressive, amazing really, was the tile work performed by Cliff. The colorful bathroom involved laying more than 1,000 tiles, and cutting more than 100 tiles to create the intricate design. It also involved the fitting of the many tiles to very close tolerance specifications. Cliff was both masterful and highly conscientious in completing this tile work. The result is stunning. In addition, along the way in both bathrooms, specific questions arose about alternative approaches to implementing features of the design. Cliff identified and raised these questions for us to think about, and he offered aesthetically pleasing solutions. In short, Cliff's work was thoughtful, technically masterful, and informed by his strong sense of aesthetic beauty. We are most impressed by Kitchen and Bath World for their general approach, their implementation, and the final product in renovating both bathrooms. Kitchen and Bath World has our highest recommendation.

This store did, and when I talked to an employee here I was told it was an "optional" item to carry. I ordered it online, and when I arrived they couldn't find my order. How do you lose 140 pounds of sand? Anyway, they finally found it and I was on my way. Of note: this location is on a hill, and it is bracketed by two roads. The eastern-most one isn't actually an entrance and will lead to a dead end. You must enter from the western-most road. Also, there was a huge pothole in the driveway, which was disappointing for a store like this.

Colourful annuals fit for the spring were aplenty both in the front and the back of the store, and we found plants here that we hadn't seen at any other major garden centre in the Capital Region so far. Maiden grass was the awesome find on the most recent visit, and the staff at checkout answered our questions about plant care which was very helpful. The prices appear to be competitive, as we found both lower, equivalent, and higher prices compared to several garden centres in the area. Parking here has not been an issue and they have their own parking lot, and we appreciated they were open till 7pm when some other stores were closed. I hope they stay open for a long time.

When we first walked in, my thoughts were, 'they're not going to have plumbing parts...' I was totally wrong. This hardware store has it all - everything you expect in a local hardware store and then some. The entry to the store is filled with unique items for your home, trinkets, and gifts. It's a visual delight. Then you get into the heart of the store and there you'll find housewares and small appliances, landscape supplies, light bulbs...the list goes on. They even offer refills of cleaning supplies for environmentally conscious shoppers. Don't forget about upstairs which houses the plumbing supplies amongst other things. What's even better is the staff is friendly and helpful. If you haven't been yet, check it out!

What disappointed me was what happened during the farmers market. As a vendor, I had to park in that area because there really wasn't anywhere else to park. Instead of simply coming over and politely letting us know, they reported us to the town, and we ended up getting a parking ticket. I honestly don't understand why a kind, friendly conversation couldn't have come first.
