After a very frustrating start to this deal, I do want to give credit where it's due. Rob, the General Manager, stepped in, was respectful, acknowledged the concerns, and worked to make the situation right. Once the deal was handled properly, everything suddenly became very simple. The car was delivered, the paperwork was completed in about 15 minutes, and the process was smooth and efficient. Which, frankly, makes it all the more obvious that the earlier chaos and shifting of the deal were completely unnecessary. I will give Ray credit for delivering the car after hours, although it is hard to ignore that he was also the one who changed the trajectory of the deal in the first place. Ultimately, Rob's involvement changed the outcome for the better. I appreciate that he stepped in and made sure the dealership followed through. It was a good resolution, even if it took far more effort than it ever should have. read more

Very, very disappointing experience with Conicelli Toyota while trying to get the A/C fixed on my 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser. This was my first time there and it will be my last. (one star as you can't have ZERO) The A/C was blowing warm air and the compressor was not running. Before bringing the vehicle in, I had already checked the A/C code (B1423) and believed the problem could be the pressure switch. I informed the service manager of the code and my suspicion when I dropped off the vehicle. I could not safely perform the work myself because the A/C lines are under pressure and I do not have the tools or equipment to recover and recharge the system properly. I was told the pressure switch was working, the compressor was fine, and that I should drive it for a week or two to help find a leak. That explanation did not make sense to me because the compressor was not running and the A/C did not work. They wanted me to pay over $300 for checking and refilling the A/C, which I refused because the issue had not been resolved and they had me waiting for 6 hours. I also asked to speak with the manager and the mechanic, but neither was available when the vehicle was returned to me. I was assured that the manager would call me the next day, but I never received a call. Before leaving, I check under the hood and noticed that a wire harness near the radiator fan had been left loose and the cover for the positive battery terminal had been left off. I took pictures and brought it to the service representative's attention before leaving. Ordering the A/C switch from Toyota would be over $300, but I was able to buy the same type of switch on Amazon for about $13. I later took the vehicle to Havertown Auto. Josh used the switch I had purchased, recharged the system, and the A/C started working properly. He also installed new tires while the vehicle was there. Everything was completed in about 2 hours. I was disappointed with the diagnostic work, communication, follow-up, and disrespect for my car and my time at Conicelli Toyota. As I said before, not going back again. read more

I purchased a 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross with the understanding, clearly confirmed by the sales agent, that free services were included. When I returned for my next service, however, the experience was extremely disappointing. After waiting for over an hour, I was told I hadn't checked in (which I had) and then informed that I was no longer eligible for the free services I was promised. The staff I dealt with were unhelpful and dismissive, which made the situation even more frustrating. While I do like the vehicle itself, the dealership's customer service and communication have been consistently poor. On top of that, the phone system is unreliable--calls are filled with static and interference, making it nearly impossible to get clear information. I still regret the day I walked in to this shit company , rather than go back to my friend "Chris Bernicker " the GM of Hyundai Springfield but m stock now. All the credit goes to salesman Paul Santabarbara. I would describe him as someone who loves his job, who performs it with excellence and who overlooks no detail when serving his customer. Pre-sale, he took me through the whole buying process. When I said I was not interested in the extended warranty, he did not try to change my mind. When I sought to negotiate my price, he took my first and second offers to the sales manager. I got a reduction on the second offer. On the day of sale, he gave me his undivided attention, screwing on the new license plate, filling gas tank, and painstakingly explaining the features, most of which were new to me. At least twice he offered my wife and me coffee, tea or water. I never got the impression that he was getting impatient or simply going through the obligatory motions. After bringing the car home, I emailed him on Sunday with two questions. He responded Monday morning and offered further help. The other thing that impressed me was that Paul seemed to have that innate ability to be both friendly and professional without being annoyingly chummy or rigidly "by the book." After my free yearly subscription ended, it, somehow, disconnected my phone's Bluetooth to my car on Apple play and the app. Anyway, Nick or Nicolas, helped me get it connected again. Dropped it off Saturday and when picked up Monday morning, the driver window was rolled down and everything was soaked due to the overnight rain. Even the maintenance required light was not reset. I was referred to Teddy, by my friend. After a frustrating experience at a Nissan dealership, she suggested I come here. And I am glad I did. I didn't want to play games. I just wanted an affordable option with a 3rd row for my family. I told him I won't play games and I would appreciate if he didn't either. I laid my cards on the table. I told him the lowest I would accept for my trade, which I ended up being offered more for (this is unheard of to me!!!) and I didn't pay a cent more than I wanted to out of pocket. Advisor ALEX 4107. TAG#28 06/05/2025. MO# 10813 I do not recommend this dealership Service Center because they could not do the basic work of registering the SRS airbag module for me on a 2023 Prius. Their mechanics do not know the basic procedures for repairing electronics and programming the ESU. Look for others. At the service center, I asked many times, explaining that I need to adapt, register, and link the new SRS Airbag module. Link it to the security key. I also explained that there are two codes U012587, U015187, this is a consequence of the SRS module not being registered in the car in the smart key system. When scanning, TechSream shows in red text that ESU registration is needed. As a result: They charged me $190 for diagnostics that I did not ask for. Instead of professionally registering the SRS airbag module, and then resetting the brake memory and, as a result, zero point calibration, they tried twice to calibrate the brakes for which there were two codes. After which they told me that they could not calibrate the brakes for an unknown reason and they needed more time and $700 to find the cause. There was no cause for the problem!!! The SI program says that first you need to calibrate and initialize the brake system when replacing the SRS module, and THEN write the ECU security, but the calibration will not start until the security key is written to the SRS module. Started coming here out of convenience due to location. Purchased the Toyota Care Plus and didn't have any issues until Toyota gave me a complimentary car detail. They had overcharged me for something so offered a car detail (about a $280 value) versus receiving a credit/cash back. The results were disappointing though. There were many streak marks and unwiped surfaces after I received my car. Only included a few photos because it was too tiring to capture everything. There is an odd smell after the shampooing as well. Definitely would not pay for a car detail at this location. read more

Had my oil done a few weeks ago. Immediately after my AC started acting up and not working unless I was moving. My engine then over heated when I hit traffic with my AC on. I have never looked under my hood since my oil change Knor when I did have I ever touched anything. Today I looked under the hood and my fan motor was completely un hooked. Which means they un plugged it during my servicing and never plugged it back in. The fact that this could have done major damage to my brand new truck because I trusted conicelli to do an oil change and service has me disgusted. I still have another free oil change and I think it's worth it to not even use Toyota care at this point. Not to mention my first service ever on the truck, they never put the tire stems back on. He and David walked us through the financing process with minimal fuss. They also provided us with a current Carfax report without being asked. We were in the middle of a road trip when my husband realized his truck should have an oil change. We looked up the nearest Toyota dealership and I called and made an appointment. The person I spoke with assured me that there was time on Friday morning (we were calling on Wednesday afternoon). He said it would likely take an hour or two at most. My husband then received like 8,000 texts and emails reminding him of the appointment. We showed up right on time. The gentlemen who greeted us in the service lane were not friendly. They seemed to take a long time to get us checked in and then they directed us inside to officially check in with one of those people. We waited in line and then were called forward. The woman who was checking us in took literally 20 minutes. She was confused by everything. No, we've never been here before. Yes, we go to the Toyota dealership near our house. Yes, we have proof of the VIN (what the hell?)... and to top it all off, she asked like 20 questions that were all information I already gave the guy on the phone when I made the appointment. We were very frustrated. Then she informed us that there was an active recall on our vehicle, which threw a whole new wrench in the system. She said she'd see if the technicians had time to do the recall repair because she didn't know. In the end, my husband asked how long it would be and the woman blew off the question and then eventually just said "someone will come talk to you." We waited in the lobby for an hour with no update. My husband went to ask and was told they had no idea when the truck would be done. Well I wish we'd have known that before we sat here for an hour. We took an uber away from the dealership and off to do the rest of our day. We waited for a call. It never came. We finally had to call them. It is apparently an act of God to find someone there who answers the phone. Both the service department and the sales department would not pick up. When we showed back up the truck was just being finished. This was roughly 3 p.m. Our appointment that was supposed to take one to two hours at most took five with zero communication and no updates. We found the service here to be extremely poor and the communication to be laughable. Did they change our oil? Yes. Will we be back? Never. EDITED TO ADD: After Paula left her comment below, I did as she requested and phoned service manager Jack. I called him on Wednesday, Jan. 11 (the day Paula left her note). He did not answer when I called and I left a voice mail. It is now five days later at the end of the work day. Jack has not called me back and I am out of patience for this dealership that can't even get follow-up customer service or communication right. Don't ask people to call to discuss their bad experience if you don't actually wish to talk to them. Somehow this dealership has managed to waste even MORE of my time. I'm done. read more

I've called Conicelli - they said pendot foes have the info So, everyday this week I call conicelli- i paid for them to do the title/registration and they always ask for my name and number and say they will return my call- which they never do. I am hoping they read this review and decide to call Updated. 1/5. I actually had to go into Conicelli since no return call. I spoke to a very nice man named Jay. I purchased a 2019 Acura ILX first it was about a key fob. Now I noticed and I haven't even had the car for 30 days that there's a damage on my front end upon purchasing purchasing the car. They told me that the car had to be over 200 miles, I didn't notice the damage when I picked the car up now I'm three weeks in and upon people looking at my new fancy car someone pointed it out to me. I have called and reached out to the dealership and they have given me no response, they asked me to send them pictures up there, I called the dealership and asked to speak to my sales rep. The woman who answered the phone. She was very rude and was trying to tell me that the person that I was asking for wasn't the person that I should be speaking to the sales rep that I had is now part of service department, but I asked to speak to him so she talked over me and it was a big argument. Sales rep called me back, but I still haven't gotten any results. This is the worst experience that I've ever had this car dealership does not respect, their customers and just because you'll have more doesn't mean that you should disrespect any customers I've been experiencing so no. I would never recommend this car dealership to anyone and like I said before me coming there the first time to buy this car. Got back to this Conicelli Toyota "dealer" and they said very "seriously" No Noises..... The annoying noises continued... so I went to a real but more distant Toyota dealer (just realized it later). They found the problem was from the damn gas tank! Wasted me 4 week days!!!!!!! Not sure if they can even fix it???? I bought a car here in November. I've had nonstop mechanical issues with it; everything from the ac and heat going out, the turbo charger malfunctioning, valve cover gaskets, you name it. The service department here will work on it and say it's fixed but either the same problem or another problem will pop up the following week. If I lived in PA I would be able to file a lemon law claim but can't because I live in Delaware. After complaining to the manager she had the audacity to say, "well you bought a used car." Really? I bought a 2018 with low miles still under warranty. The car problems have gotten so excessive and ridiculous that I have suspected that the service dept is purposely doing a poor job. So, after a Terrible experience at Ardmore Toyota, I angrily called Springfield Toyota to find out if they had the car in stock that I was looking to own. When the woman answered the phone to which I forget her name, she was very kind and considerate of what I was looking for and stated that the dealership would work out the price for me. I arrived at the store at 8:40pm. Bare in mind that the only contact I had with this dealership was ten minutes prior to my store visit. In the very recent past, I was working with Ardmore Toyota, Toyota of Glen Mills, and Team Toyota in the North East Philadelphia. After my arrival, I was pleasantly greeted by Donyae Dukes, who show me the vehicle that I was inquiring about. Ardmore Toyota told me that the vehicle would take 5 five days to arrive and the nearest dealership to them had it sitting there in the parking lot. After viewing the vehicle, I then spoke to Tyler McLaurin, who is the sales manager. He exclaimed to me that he COULD NOT match the deal at Ardmore Toyota. Please also note that I had the same deal waiting for me at the Toyota Dealership in Glen Mills. At that particular time, it was just too far to go to at 8:30pm at night, but I could of waited till the next day to pick up the car. There was no rush to get it that night. However, Tyler and Donyae were so nice to me, that I would rather pay more for people who appreciate my business than someone who could careless of who I was, such as Ardmore Toyota. So, I made the deal with Tyler and Donyae. I picked up the new Camry on Friday evening. I want to thank Tyler and Donyae for their exceptional service. These two exceptional employees are personable, friendly, and honest. That's all most shoppers are looking for when looking to purchase a vehicle, at least I am. Next time I am looking for a new Toyota, and I am just going to shop here since I know I will be treat well. read more

I have had two horrible experiences now at Conicelli Toyota. Ten years ago, when I was looking to purchase a new car, I was meeting with a salesman at the Conshohocken Conicelli dealership about the pricing of a car I was interested in. After he explained, and I told him that what he had proposed wouldn't work for me, he sent out a WOMAN to clarify any questions I had about pricing. I told her that I could understand simple math and didn't have any questions. I left and told the salesman that I would not be buying anything from his dealership. Fast-forward to five years later and the Conicelli Toyota in Springfield is on my way to work so I figured that I would give this location a chance for service out of convenience. I own a Toyota and figure that they would be the best people to service my car since it's theirs, right? I was wrong. Three weeks ago, my engine light went on, and so I took it in to have it looked at. They had to keep it for 2 days, and it cost more than $300 just for the diagnostics. At the end, they said I couldn't drive my car and they needed to order a part. Once the part came in, no one called to give me an update- I had to reach out to them since it was the end of my workday and a coworker was driving me over. Then they said that Toyota sent them the wrong part and that maybe my car didn't need it anyway- maybe they could just clean the part out instead of using a new one. I asked why this option hadn't been explored during the initial TWO days of diagnostics, and was told that it was difficult to do. This seemed unlikely since they were doing it right then and they told me they would know in 20 minutes. Eventually I was told that the cleaning out didn't work and that they would need to order the new fuel pump again. However, I was told that now I could drive my car which I was very confused by since I was told previously that I'd break down. I was told to "take it easy." When I hadn't heard from them, I called to check in, and they said the part had arrived. I asked why no one had reached out to me to let me know and they said they didn't know. I brought my car in for the last time- I thought. Since no one called me with an update, I called them and had to leave two messages throughout the day before someone got back to me. He said he needed to keep my car another night because they were sent the same part from Toyota as last week, but now they figured out that it was indeed the correct part, but that it needed a harnass. Soooo the technicians don't know their own parts. I then had to bring my car back for the THIRD time. When I went to pick my car up at the end of the day, the customer service rep I had been dealing with was out at lunch, so another rep checked me out. While I was explaining the situation and what a headache it had been, he proceeded to talk over me- making excuses for the technicians. This is a Toyota dealership. I pay more for service here because I assumed that the technicians and their supervisors would know how to service my car. This is a situation I would expect from a neighborhood mechanic who maybe isn't familiar with working on my specific model. That being said, how is it possible that after TWO days of diagnostics that cost over $300, is there still a possibility that it could be something else? In addition, how does a technician not know TWO times that the part that was sent was indeed the correct part?? And how does the supervisor overseeing the repairs not realize this? The way that the rep defended the technicians makes it seem like this is how the service department operates on a regular basis- that it is acceptable and the norm to have cars not fixed for 3 weeks and not know the parts that come in to service their cars. If this is the case, these are not professionals that I want to trust to take care of my car to ensure it runs safely. As my car is a 2011, I am expecting to have a few more repairs in the future before eventually buying a new car. Their lack of urgency, understanding, compassion, and sincerity has made my decision to take my business elsewhere- this is UNACCEPTABLE customer service. read more

I was driving to the Honda dealer in Springfield, absolutely certain I was going to purchase a CRV, when I noticed this Toyota dealership and thought, I should at least stop in to check out their small sports utility vehicle. Am I glad I did. If not for salesperson Anthony Martino, I would not be driving the RAV4 I picked up today. He was the saleperson assigned to me the day I stopped in to kick the tires and take a test drive. Kudos to the young lady who worked the greeting table that day - easily the best representative of any of all the dealerships I visited. Professional and friendly, she told me I was in great hands. She was right. Anthony was far from the typical, pushy LETS GET A DEAL DONE car sales stereotype. I found him quietly confident, knowlegeable and willing to sell me the way I wanted to buy. He was freshing to work with. Trust me, I am not your typical buyer. I have been in sales and marketing twice as long as my salesperson was alive.I had negotiated with the toughest auto chain retailers in my career.I had done my research.I knew this redesigned car had finished second in class on the most recent Consumers Reports SUV evaluations (and I had no desire to drive the one that placed ahead of it). I knew exactly where my trade had to be. I knew the invoice price, the average price paid and the MSRP. I knew all the dos' and dont's in auto financing. And I was certain to let Anthony know, I was checking his competition because I would only accept the best trade AND the best price. He accepted the challange. During the test drive, he pointed out things that got my attention. The 3 year/36 warranty. Rebate options. Zero Percent financing option (Honda had ZERO incentive on the CRV). All the new safety features on the car. The ride blew me away. I made up my mind right then - I was going to purchase a RAV4. Once I decided on the trim, it was simply a matter of getting the best deal. When it came time to sit down, Anthony presented me with the trade price I wanted - confirmed by Kelly Blue Book resale program with three cash offers from other dealers - AND the most competitive price of ANY offered by ANY dealer in the tri-state area. Putting the deal together took time but everything worked out in the end. I am now the happy owner of an awesome new car that should serve me well AND a fan of the young man who made it happen. The financing portion of the deal was my least favorite of the experience. Lets just say I never had any intention of paying for an extended warranty. If this was a junk car I might have considered but come on - it's best in class.There was no commision for the person to be made off me no matter how hard they tried. In summary - if you need a new car(and it doesn't get much better than Toyota's offerings in the non-luxury class) - head to Conicelli in Springfield and ask for Anthony Martino. I was looking for a certified hybrid car. Made couple of appointments and have to reschedule them as it was not possible for me to reach from downtown on weekdays. Finally managed to reach on Saturday. Asked for Prince the salesman and he was handling other customers. He sent me to the receptionist who took my DL etc and 'registered' me. I went their with two options. 1. To trade in my BMW X5 and get their car or 2. Pay for the certified car without trade in. Cars they showed were good and the one I liked was what we discussed. It was too hot so Prince just jumped back without offering anything like test drive or even unlocking the car. I felt awkward but thought may be this is the culture of this Toyota customer service. May be I am too pampered with good customer services in California. For my car which is 11000 on KBB they offered me around 5000! This just gave a negative impression of their business practice even though he went back to talk with his 'manager'. In the mean time other customers sitting around were curious and they asked me what am I trading in. Prince 'WARNED' me not to talk with other customers. So even though you are offering peanuts for my car, I am not supposed to discuss it with others. How on earth a salesman 'WARN' his customer and expect to earn his/ her business? I went out to check the car I liked and it had two prices on it. One on the windshield was 1000 USD lower than the one one the side door window! I also had a print out from cars.com where the same car was advt for even 1000 USD lesser than the listed price on the side window. So three different prices for the same car. Now this salesman Prince came and offered me 7000 for my car and when I mentioned that there are different prices for the car he is selling . He just didn't care or was not even ready to listen. So when he was not even ready to listen to me, I never even bothered to tell him that I am ready to buy without trade in. After visiting this dealership, I made up my mind never to visit them and now waiting for 2014 model to be launched. I will be buying it from some other dealership but not them. read more

Bait and switch experience. My wife was about to give birth, so we really needed to buy a vehicle. Because we didn't have time to go around to all the dealerships, I tried to do as much as possible online. I got quotes from all the major dealers, and Conicelli ended up giving me the best one. I called them to confirm that the vehicle was indeed available, and that I could come buy it, and drive off the lot, in as little time as possible. The salesman, Frank, confirmed this was possible, and made me an appointment. I took a $100 Uber ride out there, and when I got there, it was a comedy of errors. First, they brought out the completely wrong car. Then, when I gave them the VIN that was provided to me, they said that the car didn't actually exist. Then they said, if I wanted to drive off the lot that day, there were only two vehicles In the wrong color, both of which were more expensive For reasons they could not explain to me. The sales person just kept blaming the original sales person, as if they did not both work for the exact same company. This whole experience took over three hours. So at the end of the day, they bait and switched me, wasted $200 of Uber rides which they refused to reimburse, I had no car, lost five hours of time, and I had to restart the search. For any Yelp readers who are looking to purchase a new Toyota... I am recommending that you set-up up an appointment with Felicia Bryan at Conicelli Toyota in Springfield, Delaware County. I know what retail sales is all about. I am familiar with the world of car sales. And because I am in the sales profession, I know and see every sales technique and every trick. It's quite difficult for somebody to pull one over on me, or to fool me. And when I encounter a salesperson in a selling situation, I automatically analyze every single thing they are doing. My assessment of Felicia Bryan is that she is an ideal sales associate to work with because she conducts herself in a way that is: - pleasant, - aboveboard, - and highly service oriented. In fact, I could not detect the slightest degree of car salesperson sliminess in her. Not one little bit. Her style of selling is comfortable and easy-going, with a clearly strong focus on serving the customer. Felicia worked our deal for 2 weeks. We wanted a hard-to-find car. She ultimately succeeded in locating the car and bringing it to her dealership. (And we are aware she did this 3 different times to get us the right car.) As we wrapped-up the deal, there was no monkey business, no tricks. She and Conicelli were fair to us. It also impressed me that they did not beat us up in trying to sell the add-ons, like 5 year damage protection plans, etc. There were no scumbag moves like that. So we appreciated not being subjected to a strenuous push for add-ons at the end, as other dealerships do. In summary, we had a good experience at Conicelli. And Felicia was delightful to work with. She is truly a quality person, and a lovely person. Fair. Straight-shooting. Tries hard. She was terrific with my elderly mom. We're very pleased with how she handled us. There is a lot involved in buying a new car. And Felicia is simply very good at guiding customers through the process. Recommended. read more

I bought a vehicle from them over 3 weeks ago. I called twice about the title and registration and then had to stop in because management did not return my phone calls. When i stoped in i was told they sat on the paperwork for over two weeks before submitting it to the state and that it would be 90 days until i receive them. When i inquired about the milage issue ( the vehicle was advertised to be getting 25mpg city/33 mpg highway and im only averaging 21.9mpg) i was told their service department doesnt have any available time to look at it and to check back in a few weeks. Overall terrible experiance and unprofessionalism. I dont recomend anyone buys here! read more
