Imma just start by saying I see why this place got a Michelin star they play no games here they definitely understand the assignment from the Customer Service to the food 10/10 everything was SPECTACULAR I mean ABSOLUTELY AMAZING I might just come back tomorrow if not tomorrow I'm definitely coming back soon CONISEAFOOD ITS WHAT YOUR LIFE DESERVES

My husband picked this spot for lunch right after I picked him up from the airport, since it was really close. He was excited about it having a Michelin star and wanted to give it a try. From the outside, this little spot looks more like a tax office than a restaurant, and even with the sign visible from the street, it seems easy to miss. Once inside, there are tons of awards and recognitions on the walls. We sat on the outdoor patio, which was cute and had a family-backyard feel. We were attended quickly and service was very friendly. For food, I ordered the ceviche marinero, my son the tacos gobernador, and my husband the ceviche de pescado. My ceviche was decent but nothing that stood out. It was a bit too acidic for my taste, but so was my michelada. My son devoured his tacos quickly, though I noticed there wasn't much shrimp in each one. My husband's fish ceviche was also decent, but I'm not a fan of fish ceviche in general because of that slight "dirt-like" taste (but, that's just me). Overall, I wasn't super impressed, but it is a solid spot for sure. If you're in the area and love seafood, it's definitely worth trying. Maybe your experience will be much better than mine.

This place always has me coming back for the pescado zarandeado. The snook is incredibly flavorful and grilled perfectly. The caramelized onions with the spicy green salsa on a tortilla with the fish are heavenly. I agree with other reviews, though, service is very kind but quite slow. You do have to flag someone down to get checked on, which makes the experience feel a bit drawn out. They have to be reminded of things that you ask for outside of ordering. That said, it's not enough to keep me away. Pair this fish with a cold Modelo on a hot day...absolute perfection.

Came on a Sunday at 1139 and it was was really empty Ordered the one kilo snook and mixto caldo. They were out of octopus but the soup was filled with fish and shrimp the snook was grilled and had delicious flavors Came with tortillas and caramelized onions that almost tasted like French onion soup onions-yum Lots of bones so eat carefully- hard to do when you want to inhale it because it tastes so good Expect to look for street parking

This is the spot for good ceviche. The ceviche marinero was so good! The portions relative to the prices are very fair in my opinion, especially for seafood so you get good value out of your meal. I love my ceviche limey and it perfectly doused with lime and the perfect spicy level where it is enjoyable. This place can get pretty busy, I wish the space was bigger, but they do have a nice back patio. It was coined a Michelin star at some point for good reason.

Tried calling 6 times in a matter of 30 mins and nothing.

What's the point of having a phone if you're not going to answer it and just go straight to voicemail. For a place that has high traffic you would think they have someone at the register to take phone orders.

Food is amazing here! Very fresh and full of flavor I don't think I've had a dish from here I haven't liked yet. The staff is very cool and friendly can take a while if they are busy. You can play the vibe inside or outside so I like that feature about this spot as well!

Ummm... Yum!! Who doesn't love seafood!? Well, I actually know a lot of people who don't like seafood, but I encourage those to try ConiSeafood because it has so much flavor that it doesn't taste or seem like you're eating seafood. ConiSeafood is serving up Acaponeta, Nayarit-style seafood. Located in a small building in Inglewood, there offing a big menu full of goodness. From ceviche, fish dishes, shrimp dishes, soups and a few extras, you'll find something for your taste buds. They offer indoor seating and outdoor seating. The space is very cozy. It was busy when we arrived, and had to wait just 10mins. The hostess greeted us when we walked in and once seated, our waiter was very attentive. We got aguachiles and a shrimp plate. The aguachiles was good, but spicy. Just to warn you! The shrimp plate was delicious!

tl;dr the signature grilled snook lives up to the hype (and the eyebrow-raising price) at this Inglewood mariscos hole-in-the-wall LA has no shortage of mariscos restaurants, but one of the first to gain traction was Coni'Seafood. Vicente "Chente" Cossio opened up this spot (originally named "Mariscos Chente") in his Inglewood home in 1987 to deliver a taste of his native Nayarit-style cuisine to the neighborhood. Since then, the restaurant has changed names and been passed down to Cossio's daughter, Connie. Over the years, Coni has garnered plenty of acclaim, most notably for their pescado zarandeado, or grilled snook. Jonathan Gold even crowned Sergio Peñuelas (former chef at Coni and the so-called "Snook Whisperer") and his notoriously difficult-to-cook snook as best in the city. Coni's Inglewood location sports a comfortably gaudy atmosphere. Booths are separated by a concrete divider with a beach-y shadowbox. A custom neon sign shines from a single faux hedge wall; the remaining slate walls are decorated with framed accolades and assorted nautical knick-knacks. Twinkle lights and tropical potted plants surround the covered backyard patio. Contemporary Spanish pop echoes around the space. I visited Coni on a whim for dinner, and our party of 3 was seated immediately. We started with the Tacos de Marlin. The warm, slightly crisped tortilla and melty cheese were neutral flavors that allowed the extra-juicy marlin to shine. Next, the Aguachili featured a spiculated arrangement of head-on shrimps marinating in a citrusy broth. While the shrimp were tasty, the accompanying sauce proved to be an excellent accompaniment to the true star of the meal: the signature Pescado Zarandeado. The marinated masterpiece was lightly sprinkled with salt, sliced in half with the bone still in, and grilled to perfection. The extra-rich caramelized onions on the side added an unexpected pop. The service was friendly but mostly absent throughout the meal -- we were nearly 2 hours into a conversation, with plates all but licked clean, and still had to ask for the check. Our bill ran an eyebrow-raising $150 ($90 of which belonged to the snook), but the overall portion was generous, and the price didn't feel unreasonable. The food was, in short, simple yet spectacular. Coni is worth a dedicated visit; just be sure to bring a group to tackle the snook.

Coni's Seafood in Inglewood is hands down one of my favorite seafood spots in LA--and the Michelin Bib Gourmand is well deserved! My go-to order: * Tostaditos with marlin pâté, shrimp & octopus ceviche - packed with flavor * Pescado Zarandeado - perfectly grilled snook with house sauce & caramelized onions * Ceviche de Pescado - super fresh, citrusy, and refreshing Add a lime margarita and a cold Modelo Negro--perfection every time! Seating outdoors, friendly service

More chipped plates for the expensive food

I definitely enjoyed coming here but there's room for improvement. The ambiance outside is better than their inside section. If you do sit outside, some guests will be loud and let their children sit on their phones scrolling through TikTok on full blast. Sometimes their two televisions don't always work. The service can be slow but at least everyone is kind. The food is delicious but the prices are a little steep. Personally if you're gonna serve small plates at over $20, the plates shouldn't be chipped. Because of the quality of the food, I will keep returning but again... bigger portions on non cracked plates would be appreciated.

I'm gonna start with parking. There's space for three cars (one for the physically disabled) right in front. the catch is that it's not a parking lot but a concrete pad with no lane or drive way meaning leaving might get hairy there on the busy Imperial Highway. If you're from LA, think of how the on ramps on the 110. You're at a stop and then you hope and pray for a break in traffic but in this case, you're reversing out onto the street. I was a walk in on a weekday evening after work. It wasn't busy when I arrived but it was a full house when I left. I sat indoors, but know there's an outdoor patio in back. It appeared to be covered but I didn't walk out to look. I just peeked through the entrance way. Service was great considering it was a one man show. The gentleman was the host, server, busser and cashier. It wasn't busy at first but by the time I left, he was going back and forth dealing with the seated customers and a few who were doing take out. But he was still Johnny on the spot. Attentive. Friendly. Knowledgeable - about the menu items. And when it got busy, he was the same with the rest of the customers. As for the food - see pics. I opted for a shrimp dish with octopus and pepper (the seasoning). Had a few beer - no liquor served. Loved the flavors of the dish. So much so that was scraping the plate for the sauce with my fork for every last bit of sauce. Chips were chips and I liked the green sauce as it had a good flavor. Not hot (for me) but went well with my beer. I enjoyed the food enough to know I'll be back. But on the next visit, I'll be looking for street parking in the neighborhood because I got lucky getting back on the road from the little strip of concrete at the front of the place.

High quality, affordable seafood, cooked with Mexican passion and love! The ingredients are fresh, flavors bold, and servings were quite generous. The service was also quite hospitable, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and liveliness of the place. Highly recommend for a delicious, affordable meal in Inglewood.

First time at Martin's and we will definitely be back to try some more options…read more Food: ° Taco Sampler - you get 6 tacos (2) Al Pastor, (2) Asada, (2) Chicken with guacamole, pico de gallo, cilantro, onions, and lime. These tacos were so good. Great flavor on all of them but my favorite was the al pastor and pineapple. Great choice for small groups. ° Ceviche Camaron Con Mango - this was my favorite of the day. The flavor was so good and it was a large portion, it came with sliced cucumbers dipped in tajin on the side. The dish had avocado slices with mango sauce smothered on top. The Tostadas were made fresh. Loved this dish. It's a must try. ° Chips and Salsa - the salsa is everything. You can literally put it on anything and everything. I cant believe how good it tasted. It's smoky, mild heat with a good mild consistency. We put it on the tacos and it changed everything. I would buy this salsa!! We also added guacamole and heads up it could use some salt and lime to enhance the flavor so we added it in ourselves. ° Steak Fajitas - This plate was so hot and stayed hot the entire time. The meat was well seasoned and they give you plenty for one person. The tortillas come wrapped in thin paper to keep them warm and you get rice and beans with sour cream and pico. It's a must try. Really good. ° Baked Salmon Roll (Sushi) - The roll was big and had flavor you get about 8 pieces and the salmon is cooked table side with a torch. This gives you the option to cook the salmon to your liking. I chose medium toasted. It's a really cool experience. The flavor was great I would order this again. They do need to get better soy sauce cups, the ones they have are too deep and its really a salsa bowl. ° Combination Plate - you can choose 2 or 3 items so of course I chose 3 items. A chicken Enchilada, Hard Shell Taco (chicken), and a Chile Rellano with red sauce, and Rice and beans, the red sauce had a strong tomato base that I didn't really like too much but the Enchilada, and Chile Rellano was still pretty good. The portions are just right and the plate stayed hot. ° Drinks - we ordersd a Strawberry Frozen Margarita, and a Cadillac Margarita both can be ordered in large sizes which we did and when i say those are large drinks, those are large drinks. The bar tenders was quick too and the drinks was made just right. Service: The staff did a great job and seated us quickly, he was polite, attentive, and checked on us when he saw plates empty or us looking for assistance. The staff was great!! Atmosphere: The restaurant has a good vibe with plenty of TV's to watch sports, the bar is big and their is plenty of seating its a pretty big restaurant but it is split into two different sides. So if your looking for a place with space for big groups they can accommodate. They also have music playing but not too loud so conversations are easier. Location: It's on La Brea Ave in inglewood CA near the corner of Regent St. Price: The prices are fair. It's about $20-$30 per person. Parking: The parking sucks. It's really bad but you can park around the corner on the street. It is paid meter parking.

This place is a gem. Of course, I had to start with a margarita served in one of those huge goblet glasses, and wow--it did not disappoint. Strong, smooth, and full of flavor. My wife, who's pregnant, ordered a virgin cocktail, and honestly, it was just as impressive. It was refreshing, well-balanced, and fairly priced (which is rare for non-alcoholic drinks). For food, we went all in. My wife ordered the fish taco meal, which was generous and packed with flavor. The portions were no joke. Our son got the kids burrito, and it was massive--definitely not your average "kids meal." I went with the quesabirria tacos from the appetizer menu, and they were perfect for my appetite. Rich, flavorful, and satisfying without being too heavy. The ambiance really stood out. It strikes a great balance between authentic Mexican culture and a modern, clean dining experience. It's the kind of place that feels lively and welcoming without being overwhelming--perfect for a casual night out or even a small celebration. Service was top-tier. The staff was attentive without hovering, quick with recommendations, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about the customer experience, which goes a long way. Parking is a bit limited right in front, but there's plenty of street parking and nearby lots, so it's manageable. Bonus: right next door is Drobe Stogie Cigar Lounge, which is a great spot to check out if you enjoy cigars. It's the perfect way to wind down after a solid meal. Our server was super duper friendly and even had multiple conversations with us throughout the meal, sharing anecdotes and talking to my tattoo artist friend about getting a tat from her LOL. We quickly ordered some chips and queso (not free) and were blown away by how creamy and tasty the queso was. The tortas were also delicious and easy to scoop a lot of cheese on to. On to the menu, they had a good variety of Mexican dishes, but the price point, man. I thought $4-5 a taco at Barrio Queen in Arizona was steep, but this place charged $7-8 for a single small taco. I would've been okay with any menu item since it's Mexican and nothing under that cuisine could be bad, but seeing each enchilada over $30, made me steer clear of the main entree dishes. I also knew I wanted to try fish tacos, so I just opted for one fish taco and one grilled taco, with a side of mashed black beans. Crazy that some black beans also were at least $5. The fish taco was nicely battered and the guacamole was ripe and creamy, but the grilled chicken taco was nothing spectacular. There was also cauliflower tacos and beef brisket tacos ordered among us. My friend who ordered the beef brisket taco rated it 7.5/10, whereas the cauliflower tacos were rated 9/10. The food also took at least 20 minutes to arrive at the table. Both sauces my tacos came with were extremely spicy so I didn't even touch those. My friends enjoyed their meals, and the side of green rice two of them got was rather tasty. Overall, our server was the best part of the experience. She really ate DOWN, whereas our food and the price point did not.

I found out about this spot from Yelp of course :)…read more The employees are really nice even the cooks will greet you from the window and overall they make me feel appreciated as a customer and I find that really special. The food is fantastic! I am a connoisseur of all things seafood and It's such a blessing to live in Los Angeles and have delicious fresh Mariscos at your fingertips. I had the Aguachile, The Beer battered Shrimp Tacos and Ceviche. Everything was very tasty. I Love fresh Raw Seafood, but my mom wasn't as adventurous so I opted to get her the cooked version. Both are equally as tasty! Everything tasted Fresh, bright and vibrant with the lime juices. The Aguachile had a nice kick, but very tasty and fresh. Depending on the time you go they do have an accessible patio area that's available for outdoor dining. We sat inside and the music was festive and lively. There are also TV's if you want to watch a sports game. Definitely would recommend trying Lalo's out if you're in the area.

My husband and I hardly ever carry cash so we had to use their atm machine for a three dollar fee. We usually get the ceviche mixto, shrimp cocktail & fried calamari. This time we only ordered the ceviche mixto & fried calamari due to the cash amount we got from the atm. & unfortunately the calamari was very stale. It had a weird aftertaste as if the oil was a little old. Customer service was great as always.
