Came on a Sunday at 1139 and it was was really empty Ordered the one kilo snook and mixto caldo. They were out of octopus but the soup was filled with fish and shrimp the snook was grilled and had delicious flavors Came with tortillas and caramelized onions that almost tasted like French onion soup onions-yum Lots of bones so eat carefully- hard to do when you want to inhale it because it tastes so good Expect to look for street parking

This is the spot for good ceviche. The ceviche marinero was so good! The portions relative to the prices are very fair in my opinion, especially for seafood so you get good value out of your meal. I love my ceviche limey and it perfectly doused with lime and the perfect spicy level where it is enjoyable. This place can get pretty busy, I wish the space was bigger, but they do have a nice back patio. It was coined a Michelin star at some point for good reason.

Ummm... Yum!! Who doesn't love seafood!? Well, I actually know a lot of people who don't like seafood, but I encourage those to try ConiSeafood because it has so much flavor that it doesn't taste or seem like you're eating seafood. ConiSeafood is serving up Acaponeta, Nayarit-style seafood. Located in a small building in Inglewood, there offing a big menu full of goodness. From ceviche, fish dishes, shrimp dishes, soups and a few extras, you'll find something for your taste buds. They offer indoor seating and outdoor seating. The space is very cozy. It was busy when we arrived, and had to wait just 10mins. The hostess greeted us when we walked in and once seated, our waiter was very attentive. We got aguachiles and a shrimp plate. The aguachiles was good, but spicy. Just to warn you! The shrimp plate was delicious!

tl;dr the signature grilled snook lives up to the hype (and the eyebrow-raising price) at this Inglewood mariscos hole-in-the-wall LA has no shortage of mariscos restaurants, but one of the first to gain traction was Coni'Seafood. Vicente "Chente" Cossio opened up this spot (originally named "Mariscos Chente") in his Inglewood home in 1987 to deliver a taste of his native Nayarit-style cuisine to the neighborhood. Since then, the restaurant has changed names and been passed down to Cossio's daughter, Connie. Over the years, Coni has garnered plenty of acclaim, most notably for their pescado zarandeado, or grilled snook. Jonathan Gold even crowned Sergio Peñuelas (former chef at Coni and the so-called "Snook Whisperer") and his notoriously difficult-to-cook snook as best in the city. Coni's Inglewood location sports a comfortably gaudy atmosphere. Booths are separated by a concrete divider with a beach-y shadowbox. A custom neon sign shines from a single faux hedge wall; the remaining slate walls are decorated with framed accolades and assorted nautical knick-knacks. Twinkle lights and tropical potted plants surround the covered backyard patio. Contemporary Spanish pop echoes around the space. I visited Coni on a whim for dinner, and our party of 3 was seated immediately. We started with the Tacos de Marlin. The warm, slightly crisped tortilla and melty cheese were neutral flavors that allowed the extra-juicy marlin to shine. Next, the Aguachili featured a spiculated arrangement of head-on shrimps marinating in a citrusy broth. While the shrimp were tasty, the accompanying sauce proved to be an excellent accompaniment to the true star of the meal: the signature Pescado Zarandeado. The marinated masterpiece was lightly sprinkled with salt, sliced in half with the bone still in, and grilled to perfection. The extra-rich caramelized onions on the side added an unexpected pop. The service was friendly but mostly absent throughout the meal -- we were nearly 2 hours into a conversation, with plates all but licked clean, and still had to ask for the check. Our bill ran an eyebrow-raising $150 ($90 of which belonged to the snook), but the overall portion was generous, and the price didn't feel unreasonable. The food was, in short, simple yet spectacular. Coni is worth a dedicated visit; just be sure to bring a group to tackle the snook.

Coni's Seafood in Inglewood is hands down one of my favorite seafood spots in LA--and the Michelin Bib Gourmand is well deserved! My go-to order: * Tostaditos with marlin pâté, shrimp & octopus ceviche - packed with flavor * Pescado Zarandeado - perfectly grilled snook with house sauce & caramelized onions * Ceviche de Pescado - super fresh, citrusy, and refreshing Add a lime margarita and a cold Modelo Negro--perfection every time! Seating outdoors, friendly service

Best place for seafood in LA. I had mostly shrimp dishes which is so good, it's reasonably priced. Only thing is that they are understaffed so you have to be patient .

I'm gonna start with parking. There's space for three cars (one for the physically disabled) right in front. the catch is that it's not a parking lot but a concrete pad with no lane or drive way meaning leaving might get hairy there on the busy Imperial Highway. If you're from LA, think of how the on ramps on the 110. You're at a stop and then you hope and pray for a break in traffic but in this case, you're reversing out onto the street. I was a walk in on a weekday evening after work. It wasn't busy when I arrived but it was a full house when I left. I sat indoors, but know there's an outdoor patio in back. It appeared to be covered but I didn't walk out to look. I just peeked through the entrance way. Service was great considering it was a one man show. The gentleman was the host, server, busser and cashier. It wasn't busy at first but by the time I left, he was going back and forth dealing with the seated customers and a few who were doing take out. But he was still Johnny on the spot. Attentive. Friendly. Knowledgeable - about the menu items. And when it got busy, he was the same with the rest of the customers. As for the food - see pics. I opted for a shrimp dish with octopus and pepper (the seasoning). Had a few beer - no liquor served. Loved the flavors of the dish. So much so that was scraping the plate for the sauce with my fork for every last bit of sauce. Chips were chips and I liked the green sauce as it had a good flavor. Not hot (for me) but went well with my beer. I enjoyed the food enough to know I'll be back. But on the next visit, I'll be looking for street parking in the neighborhood because I got lucky getting back on the road from the little strip of concrete at the front of the place.

High quality, affordable seafood, cooked with Mexican passion and love! The ingredients are fresh, flavors bold, and servings were quite generous. The service was also quite hospitable, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and liveliness of the place. Highly recommend for a delicious, affordable meal in Inglewood.

This is hands down my favorite mariscos spot! Great cocktails (get the lime margarita), yummy chips and salsa, and so many good ceviche options! It is a little pricier but seafood is always pricey and for the amount they give it is worth it! The back patio is very nice a well. Only downside is they only have 2 parking spots, but we found a street spot right outside. If you want mariscos, highly recommend!!

Amazing food. We had Marlin Taco and Grilled fish. It is amazing. Service staff is very pleasant. It has a feel of typical Mexican restaurant. They gave us chips and Salsa. Salsa has a kick to it. Overall great food. Good place to grab lunch while taking an afternoon flight at LAX. 10 mins drive from LAX.

Cotel de camarón or ceviche marinero. Both are really delicious

I wished to connect with her in an effort to re-establish our work relationship after being out of the loop the last few years. I was hopeful that Eddie V's would prove an ideal location with which to impress. Indeed it was! We began what would turn out to be one of the most enjoyable outings in fine dining since I have been in L.A., and the South Bay/Manhattan Beach area in particular. I can say that Eddie V's hit on all three elements that most look for when considering fine dining options-the ambiance (location itself), the food, and of course my #1 thing-the level of customer service! Other than past experiences in my 2nd home of New Orleans, (where top tier customer service is to be expected from "hole in the walls" to century old restaurants such as Antoine's, Galatoire's, and Commander's Palace-this was bar none my best fine dining experience in Los Angeles.......ever! Over the course of the next few hours, we would indulge in the following: Starters: *Caesar Sald-light and scrumptious. (I devoured this option in under 10 minutes) *Shrimp Cocktail-presented as a table spread as opposed to the shrimp being hooked on the outside of a generic wine glass. The shrimp were large and super fresh. We both moved in for the attack here! Dinner: *Crab Cakes (3) These are bar none the absolute best in L.A. I had two, and my guest knocked out one of them-they tasted just like Gulf crab-which is saying something. *One 8oz Filet Mignon-cooked to perfection (we kind of split this) lol Beverages: *GL Substance (aka the house red), which I enjoyed thoroughly. * Smoked Old Fashioned (part of a nice presentation where our server literally lit up fire and "smoked it" in front of my guest. *Perfect Margarita-a certified margarita according to my guest. * Fresh coffee and cream-hot and fresh like the food! Desert: *Celebration Dessert which consisted of a variety of special treats-all of which were complimentary. *Meyer Lemon Tart-a mouthwatering offering that was the epitome of that perfect blend where lemon and sugar meet in the middle. Customer Service The CSA, or Customer Service All Star of this experience was Kayla P-pictured. Honorable mention goes out to hostess Azhanee-pictured. Server Kayla P and Hostess Azhanee collaborated as a team and ennsured that my guest was greeted by name and that her valet was already paid upon arrival! I was greeted with a smile and kind words by the gentleman at the door. When I entered the hostesses were very nice, and when I informed them that it was my birthday, they lit up and gave me well wishes. My date was waiting patiently in their designated waiting area (because I always show up fashionably late), and we were escorted to a beautiful round booth in the lounge/bar area. We decided to get a bottle of Vueve Clicquot yelllow label and ordered the 8oz Flilet with an add on scallops, he got the 8oz as well. And we both opted for the Parmesian horseradish crust ... Ahhhhhhhmazing! Dizzert (yes I spelled that correctly) was the banana's fosters, which burned for an insanely long time, but it was delicious. Overall plus plus. My only feedback would be that our server, as nice as she was, was a little too chatty for my liking. Maybe it was because we were in the bar area, but if I wanted to chat, I would have sat at the bar. I wanted to enjoy my date and it be about me (It was my birthday afterall!), and she kept interrupting to chat. But the experience was great, i will be back!! Protip: Park in the lot next door for free to avoid the valet cost.

The Cajun fries were lightly seasoned, with a crisp (but not too crunchy) coating, similar to the exterior of an onion ring. They were great for snacking and whetted my appetite well. I feel like I can write a manuscript describing all the things I like about this place, but no one would bother reading that except maybe my wife so I'm going to try to keep this one relatively short. During my visit, I ordered the Connecticut Style Double Stuffed Roll with a mixture of fries and tater tots. The lobster meat was fresh and nicely flavored with Old Bay seasoning while the split roll was buttery and perfectly crunchy. I seriously can't imagine a lobster roll tasting any better. Not to be out done, the service here was outstanding. The two gentleman who were working at the counter were extremely friendly and helpful. This being the first time at this establishment, I had a bunch of annoying questions. These guys were unfazed and answered my questions very nicely. A few additional notes about this place: -You order and pay up front. It's a beautiful thing to be able to leave whenever you're done eating. -There is plenty of parking in the back of the establishment. -The fountain drink machine is self serve. It's well maintained and fine tuned. No joke, the Coke here is near McDonalds level. If you're in the Redondo Beach neighborhood, I strongly recommend giving this place a try. If you're into lobster rolls, you won't be disappointed.

Food: Pretty solid! Had Connecticut style with fries. Roll was tasty. Buuuuut…read more.... Value: VERY pricey for serving size. Roll was small, imo, for 23.50. Fries were another 6 for hardly any. Kind of prohibitive pricing for casual drop ins. Especially if you order a beer. I know it's South Bay, but bummer. Atmosphere: walls covered in punk records, music gear, and skate decks. Rad! Except.... the pumping music was straight out of "songs covered by Glee." WTF. Excruciating. Like being in a crappy clothing store in a mall. Booooo. Dining in can't both be expensive and a challenge of endurance. Awful. Incoherent. Service: bartender/manager (he said he was manager to a woman he was flirting with, so I'll assume he was) told me the decoration was just decoration. Ok. Weird. Verdict: pass. Not worth $$ or dealing with the vibe. Footnote: bartender guy wore an earbud -- owners should kaibosh that nonsense.

The place is clean with a nice, lively vibe. There's a bar area as well. We tried the dirty hooker shots felt like a fun drinks, though they were on the lighter side alcohol-wise. Music was loud and energetic, which we enjoyed. The LA Bag was amazing. Our amazing Latina waitress was fantastic and recommended the spicy hot LA Cajun seasoning. It was absolutely on point and spicy. If you like spicy - go for it. Medium might be underwhelming. We ordered LA Bag Option 2 with shrimp, mussels, and snow crab, and it was enough for three people. Was so good and highly recommended!

We went in anyway & was automatically greeted by the owner "Hola" :) . Super friendly! Chinese owned but the decor was Mexican. Mexican music was blasting and it was a homey feeling. We were feeling it and ready to eat! They serve alcohol there as well. We ordered a combo of snow crab, shrimp, potatoes and sausages. It was amazing!!! The taste was different. I didn't taste old bay like usual. I feel like it was Chinese 5 spice. We loved it!!! We killed everything. I forgot to order the garlic noodles. I ordered it kinda late so had to take it to go. Pour the sauce on the rice cuz we big back!
