Whenever I've been to Conley's the food is good to very good. We decided to order through Door Dash- Ruben , Teriyaki Chicken and 2 BLT BLT were excellent. Cut in Quarters. The on the other Ruben seemed hastily put together with the corned beef overly microwaved in one section. Had to fight through it. Had it before - was great -tender corned beef (I doubt they make their own until St. Patrick's Day. Tonight's version missed all together. As for the teriyaki chicken that was a box of chicken pieces - plenty of chicken. (I don't think they bread and fry but it's good) and (1) - 2oz container. Barely enough and a terrible presentation. It should have been tossed like buffalo or some of the other sauces. As for my rating. Specifically it's a 2.5 for tonight's meal only. I would recommend going there and eating and in that capacity they're a 4.5-5. Easy vibe, nice people, many beers. Looking forward to updating soon. read more

I have been to Conley's many times. Every time the food has been great. I didnt think that it was possible to get such great food every visit. We always change up our choices and still everything is over the top. I will continue to visit conelys for lunch or dinner even if I move out of watertown. read more

Great local bar with solid food. The crowd is always a fun people-watching mix, even on a slow day. The staff is friendly and attentive. So far I've found them to have some of the better salads around, which sounds strange for a bar but maybe that's why it took me so long to figure out. Try the goldrush wings, delicious! There's a good beer selection and tvs on just about every wall, so great for watching games. read more

Conley's is a fantastic neighborhood pub -- it's become our local. We love the staff and the customers. And the chili is to die for.

I've been to Conley's several times. I love the location and the atmosphere inside is nice too - it's big and lots of light from the outside, with good TVs everywhere. My issue is with the food - it's very so-so. The Conley Burger is very good, as are some of their pizzas. I was there Friday night and ordered the boneless Buffalo tenders (fingers) based on a suggestion from our waitress. They were lousy. We had maybe 4-5 bites and left the rest. The waitress asked us how they were and I told her we didn;t like them at all. She asked if we wanted something else and we declined. I was hoping the $6.75 amount for the fingers would be removed from our bill, but unfortunately it was not. Our pizza was ok -cheese pizza with grilled chicken added. In the past I have ordered pizza here and it was pretty good. May have been an off-night, although I think if you order one of their specialty pizzas, rather than create your own, it will taste better. The beer selection is pretty good and the prices reasonable - I had a Rolling Rock draft for $2.75!! We used a $50 gift cert. and the bill came to $31. The waitress said I couldn't get change back, which I understood, but I had to ask for a gift card for the difference (she checked with the manager) and was finally able to get that. I will go back to Conley's again, since I like the atmosphere and location, but I definitely won't order the boneless buffalo fingers. read more

Has this place changed hands or something? They used to do a great sandwich and had a great vibe. Those things are long gone. Staff were attentive enough but were a bit too helicopterish. Could take a tip from Donohue's staff. Check in with me but don't chit chat so much. It's awkward. Food isn't what it was. read more

Been there multiple times, almost aways with locals (good friends) who live close by and know the staff. Even with the local advantage this place is to be avoided, *especially* if you have kids. The service is abysmal, beers take forever and having kids wait 45mins for a cheese pizza makes absolutely no sense. The beer selection is passable, the waitstaff tries hard but on a Thu/Fri eve you'll be left for dead waiting for your food. Am not sure the staff is to blame as many of them are great folks but it seems management is not all interested. Food is below par, don't even think of ordering a Reuben unless you love cold gristle. Mercyfully there are plenty of *much* better places around, so if you can, skip this one. read more

Love this pub and so close to home. The ambient is fun and comfortable. The food takes a while, but it is delicious. The burgers are so good, steak tips are amazing. Potato skins are my absolute favorite. And the price is fair, especially since each person can order their own dish. So much fun to go, watch the patriots or the bruins game, or the Celtics. Technically in Watertown, Conley's is the Official Bar and Grill of Belmont. Much improved and expanded over McFly's which preceded it (I don't date back to the era of The Continental, or as locals called it "The Conti"), Conley's has been an institution for going on 15 years. I've been there enough since I moved to Belmont seven years ago to vouch for the quality and consistancy of the food and service. The bartenders and waitstaff are very friendly and competent and you don't encounter a revolving door of new faces here as you do at some other casual dining spots. The original bar area now forms the center of a three-room complex with two large dining areas on either side, one of which (the newer addition) also features a second bar. The after-work crowd blends nicely with families from the surrounding neighborhood and community, larger groups including everything from Little League and adult softball teams to bleed-over from nearby wakes, are accomodated in the largest dining area, and things do fill to capacity after about 6:30, especially Thursdays to Saturdays. Numerous flat-screens in every room qualify Conley's as a destination for watching the game of your choice, but what keeps people coming back is the food. Conley's has note-perfect steak tips and wings at a great price. I have never hesitated to bring my finicky Father-in-law here and never had to steer him away from anything on the menu -- everything is solid. The garlic cheesesteak sandwich is a favorite of mine and competes with the blackened chicken -- as a sandwich with chipotle mayo or atop one of their salads -- as a minor fetish. If you haven't figured out by now that I'm a "regular," well, I admit it. The Halfway, Fitz's, and Donahue's all had a shot, though, and Conley's won. Hands down Best in Class. read more

Conley's is what it seems to be, and that is an excellent neighborhood bar and grille with solid food. I tend to stick to the cheeseburg platter, although in summer, chili dogs sometimes pull my chain. The cole slaw, side salad and potato salad are all commendable. The service has always been excellent, and the bartenders, at least some of them, tend to know (or want to know) who you are. As I say, it's a neighborhood kind of place. Since I go to Conley's almost exclusively to watch sports ("too cheap for $50 cable at home..."), it's important that all the games be on and visible. And that's just what happens at Conley's. What suggestions to make this a "six star" experience -- well, you could hire Todd English. Or, you could try a few of these ideas: (1) one or two more offerings to supplement your "pizza only" late night menu; (2) a few more dessert choices; (3) a more complete array of sauces (e.g., some interesting salsas, maybe a slightly better class of mustard, relish for the burgers (although they do come with pickles, thinly sliced)); and (4) I can't think of a fourth suggestion right now -- which goes to show you how good a place this is. read more
