EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. We needed a repair on our refrigerator and thought it would be covered by our home warranty then realized it was an LG warranty. We called LG to schedule an appt, a week later still no appt. through LG. Conner's, who we called then cancelled, called us just to check on our status. I told them where we were and they called LG directly to get us service and are handling our warranty parts and labor paid through LG. I can't imagine that as busy as they are, they were able to take time to ensure we were serviced. Who does that these days? Conner's does that's who. Keep up the good work. read more

The tech they sent out to check our gas leaking problem from our Viking oven was half an hour late for his 3 hour window. But the real problem was that he's too incompetent to find a problem with the oven. We had a "failed gas igniter problem" during Thanksgiving which caused gas leak and smell was horrible. PG&E came out to inspect and tell us exactly what to fix. They warned us to not use the oven until it was fixed, however, the Conner's tech guy said the gas leak is part of the design of the oven. EXCUSE ME? It's too bad that they are one of two Viking approved repair shops in Carmel area, because I will have to speak to Viking to ditch them. WOW, you can't spend enough to get good help. I'm writing this review as an extremely impressed customer! Robert from Conner's Appliance pulled off a minor miracle unlocking my Viking oven after it stayed locked after a self-cleaning cycle. The door was locked shut, with no apparent way to open it. Viking themselves told Robert (on the phone) that there was no fix! This is the last Viking appliance i will ever buy. However, Robert was able to figure out mechanically how to unlock the upper oven door by comparing the locking mechanism to the one on the lower oven door. He did indeed unlock the upper oven, restoring use of the oven. I am very impressed, and very happy. He did far better than Viking said he could His charge was more than reasonable, and i now have a go-to appliance repair place in Santa Cruz. I hope i never need it, but if i do need appliance repair, i will always call Conner's. read more

I have a 1994 Sub Zero 532 built-in refrigerator. Two weels ago I put half 'n half in my coffee, but it came out in curdled chunks. Yucch! I measured the temp of other liquids and found that the fridge was about 48 degrees. I turned the temperature control to the coldest setting and measured a few hours later, but it hadn't gotten colder. I did my own diagnosis and determined that the problem was the thermostat. I tried to repair it, but ended up completely breaking the already broken thermostat. So I called Connor Appliance and they set up a service call five days from when I called (that time included the weekend). The owner, Dylan, showed up, did some quick checking, agreed with my analysis, and gave me a quote for labor and parts to replace the thermostat. His price was fair and reasonable, although be warned that ALL on-site appliance service calls, from any business, and for any appliance, are measured in the hundreds of dollars. Compared to the now-defunct Decker Appliance, which was the go-to place for Sub Zero service, Connor's price seemed "normal" in today's economy. I used Decker twice and while they were very competent, their prices were astronomical. Dylan completed the repair quickly and professionally and my Sub Zero works exactly according to specification. I say that because, as I tried to fix it myself, I downloaded and read the service manual, and it should keep everything at 38 degrees when the dial is set to "5." That's what it now does. My mom broke the glass top on her stove. What a frustrating adventure she's had finding someone to order a replacement, remove her stove without damage to attached tile and grout & place new top on. I'd give them 10 stars if I could! Hands down the best appliance repair service I've ever used. I have a KitchenAid refrigerator that was having multiple issues. Jorge accurately addressed each problem, and performed the necessary service to my complete satisfaction. I should mention here that one of the issues involved the icemaker, which I had been told by another local appliance repair company was 'irreparable'. I will have to say that from a "getting it fixed" standpoint, they did a great job... 5 plus. From a timing standpoint, left a lot to be desired. When we first called, they said the first avail appointment was 21 days out which I guess just means they are super busy, probably because they are good... which is fine. So, we called someone else who came and "couldn't find anything wrong." We kept the appoint with Connors and he did show up and diagnosed two problems! Awesome!! I told the repair person, great, let's fix it. 6 days later I get a call from the office asking me if we want to proceed with the repair, they hadn't even ordered the parts yet! Then they finally did that... parts took a while to come in, then they had to schedule out another several days once that happened... the whole process took way too long and seems like it could be much more streamlined. I certainly appreciate that they got the job done, but the time line on the whole thing (washing machine in a home with 3 kids) left a lot to be desired. read more

Very happy with Rich, he came out, proceeded to troubleshoot and repair my Miele Dishwasher within 2 weeks time total. Rich ordered the part right then and promptly returned little over a week later, going thru the necessary part replacement protocol, and "walla" ~ DW is back working just fine. Very glad I called Conner's Appliance, and they sent Rich out, and Rich was great - he's a 32 year appliance professional and nice guy too! It may be unusual to focus on ethics, rather than success, but I would like to express my deep appreciation for the integrity displayed by Conner's Appliance personnel, where none was required. My 3 year old, rather expensive refrigerator stopped working. At the initial appointment the problem was diagnosed as a defective control card, and after the part came in, it was replaced by William of Conner's. I was assured at the 1st appointment that Conner's would stand behind the repair and that the replacement part would solve the problem. Unfortunately the fridge still failed to function, so presumably, there was another problem past the control board. Since the house is in escrow, I couldn't afford to delay having a functioning fridge, so decided to buy a new one. When I called Conner's to inform them about the fridge still not working, they refunded not only the labor for both visits, but the $298 part as well, which will remain in the fridge on it's way to that big kitchen in the sky. All but the service call minimum was refunded, along with a sincere apology for something that I trust was unavoidable. It is rare for a business to stand by their promises and take a loss, rather than placing the onus entirely on the customer. I will certainly use Conner's Appliance for any of my future needs when applicable. read more

This is the kind of customer service you need when you've got a major appliance malfunctioning. They were prompt, friendly, and extremely knowledgable. They fixed my less than 2 year old Whirlpool duet washing machine (as a mother of 2, a washing machine is pretty vital for everyday life). A couple years ago they repaired a LG dishwasher (and apparently not everyone will work on those). Shows you that these guys are experts. Very fair price too. Most Recent- The Saturday morning after my amended rating I received a call from the office manager in the San Joaquin Valley who was genuinely concerned that I had a less than perfect experience. She asked me to explain in detail, listened politely and patiently. She was sincerely determined to correct the troubles I had. She shared some corrective actions that would be going into effect and that nothing would be punitive but instructional. I liked that! Husband fixed leak over the weekend so they didn't have to come back. ******************************************************************** Amended rating- dropped from 3 stars to 2 stars....washer is leaking and garage floor is wet. Sigh........I'm sure they'll come and fix it but what fresh hassles are in store for me scheduling and waiting for the tech to arrive? ******************************************************************** It took 5 days from when I called to get a diagnosis appointment and the tech was on time. My washer is now fixed but it took a long time after the parts arrived to schedule an appointment that was convenient. You can't request a time, they say they'll email you the day before to let you know when they'll be there. Didn't receive email. The technician was professional and I am happy with the repair. I'm extremely disappointed in the scheduling flexibility. I requested a first morning appointment and waited 5 extra days without my washer to have it. On day of service I called them because I didn't receive email and was told appt would be between 11-2!! I'd requested first appt of the day and waited 5 days for the booking! They called at 10:30 to say it would be closer to 12:30.... By 4:00 no tech, called and was told tech is running late. At 5:00 the tech called to say he'd be there in an hour. I told him to make me his first morning appointment the next day and he said see you at 7:30 in the morning. Next day he arrived at 8:20. Something has to be done about that! Improve communication and scheduling and I'd use them again. My washer is fixed and there's a one year warranty on the parts and labor. Honestly, I probably won't use them again because I took a day off work for nothing. The tech apologized but my time is as important as any one else's. read more

We had some communication breakdown, but they stepped up and fixed the issue. Dylan (the owner) is a class act.

Dylan and two subs came to check on the refrigeration failure. The fridge needed a new compressor and cold control. I was quoted a price of $1,350, for parts and labor. It was accepted. It took a few days for the parts to be here with the 3 persons. Dylan was the supervisor, RJ was the installer, and the third young man was the observer. The estimated total hours was somewhere around an hour, and 1/2. The second visit was 2 hrs., plus a few minutes. The bill did come to $1,357.20(tax was included). The parts came to $580.00, plus $52.50 tax. Who knows how the labor charge was allocated? There wasn't a store bought receipt for the parts included with the Connor's statement. I emailed Connor's a request for a copy of that since I always get a copy when I buy parts, or whatever from a store. The email back was an apology with the answer "I do not have access to the receipt for those parts." Further stating "We do have a one-year parts and labor warranty on all work we do." So, I assume, since I have that warranty statement in my email message, I'll have to keep it in my desk drawer, just in case. RJ did a good job on the installation. My drier was making a very loud high pitched noise while running.Jessie identified what the problem was. Parts had to be ordered. He was running late the day of my time window. He called to apology and came within 30 minutes just as he said. It was after 5pm so I was glad that I was not pushed out to another day. Jessie had to take apart the drier, it is located in a tight closet area in my family room, so not easy to get in and out. Jessie said no problem he's had tighter spots. Once the parts were replaced and the machine was put back together Jessie did a test run for me. The loud noise was gone but there was still a small hitting noise. Jessie took it all apart again and was very pleasant about having to do this. He said he wanted me to be completely happy. He was able to find where a screw needed to be tightened. That solved the small noise problem. My drier now is very quiet while running. read more

He immediately realized that what the A Go Appliance guy had told me and the home warranty company was incorrect (which I'd figured out already). Sometimes things can go wrong that are no fault of the company you're dealing with. The service tech arrived on time, made the repairs, and cleaned up (they wear shoe covers upon entering your house). I'll upgrade the review by an additional 3 stars for prompt response to my concerns and resolution. Would I either use or recommend Conner's Appliance again? Absolutely Yes. I cannot express my sincere gratitude and satisfaction enough with Conner's Appliance and most specifically, Dylan our repairman. When our Viking refrigerator went out, Dylan was there quickly and tried fixing it. He also advised me it was under warranty which I was unaware of. Unfortunately, after Dylan spent hours (having to come to our home 3-4 times) trying to repair the refrigerator, even coming on a Sunday, the refrigerator still would not stay cold. Dylan contacted Viking on our behalf, requesting an entirely new refrigerator be shipped to our home. Within two days, we had a new one which Dylan came to install immediately. In addition to replacing our refrigerator, he hauled the old one away and repaired our microwave that had been broken for months.
