A repairman who actually takes the appliance apart and fixes the motor instead of quickly resorting to ordering parts - what a novelty. My thermador refrigerator had an obnoxious fan rattling noise. William took apart the interior, pulled out the motor and realized a screw had come very loose in it. Tightened the screw, put everything back together and now I have blessed silence in the kitchen. Years ago William also repaired my dryer when he worked for Mr Appliance. He is very resourceful and has great mechanical aptitude. Best home appliance repairman I've ever encountered. read more

Murphy's law, our oven broke three days before Thanksgiving. I called Conner's and they scheduled us for the same day. It turns out that the repairman (another company) that attempted to fix our Thermador Pro oven four years ago neglected to replace the screws where the gas element and igniter meet and it had shifted out of alignment (not good with a gas stove). Our stove had burners go out during Covid. Working with our home warranty company they determined Conners was a good fit to repair. Two months ago Conners sent a repair person to my house. He slammed my stove around, damaged my cabinets, and then told me i needed to have the stove completely removed and disconnected from the gas line to diagnose the issues. I am still fighting with the home warranty company because Conners marked the job closed but has failed to deliver a report of services despite many calls. My stove is still not working, Conners is completely unresponsive, and i couldn't wait any longer to give them chances to fix their errors. read more

My washer was having some draining issues, I called Conner's and they had a very fair price for a diagnostic on the washer. The tech's name was Noe, He was very prompt. When he called before the scheduled appointment time to say he was on his way, I informed him I wasn't home and he was able to come back when I was home. It worked out perfect. I am so thrilled he knew immediately what the problem was, ordered the part and very quickly completed the repair. Also thrilled my 15 yo stove is as good as new, saving me the thousands I'd have to spend on a replacement. I love my old stove and will now have it for many years to come, thanks to Jessie at Conner's Appliance. Next time I need help I'll call them. Growing up locally in Santa Cruz, we used Appliance Service Center for all our appliance repairs for over 50 plus years. Unfortunately, several years back, they retired from business. With no knowledge of any other reputable appliance businesses, I chose Yelp to get some referrals. I took a chance and called Conner's to come out and give me an estimate to repair my 2014 GE Profile Fridge (that had inconveniently stopped cooling the Sunday before Thanksgiving). They responded the same day and fit me into their busy schedule. Canh, their technician was very professional and gave an assessment that my compressor inverter wasn't working. (FYI- the GE Model #PFE29PSDSS is known to have failures with their mother boards and inverters. I recommend having a warranty.) They had to order the part. The holiday made it difficult to get the part in a timely manner due to most businesses being closed on Thursday and Friday in observance of Thanksgiving. The following week they received the part and came out to do the repair as soon as they could fit me in their schedule. Their charge to repair it was very fair and reasonable. Canh was so helpful and showed me how to clean my coils; he also gave me other tips on how to best maintain the appliance. I would definitely use them again. These guys were professional, friendly, and on top of it. Refrigerator stopped working, they came out and diagnosed the compressor, then spent time to determine whether it was under warranty. It was. Unfortunately, they don't handle warranty repair for LG appliances. They pointed me at Sears or LG to do the work so I could save $500 over what they should have to charge. Honest service! They'll be my first call in the future. read more

The tech was there on time and externally friendly. After testing out my GE washer he didn't seem to be to concern with the washer, as it wasn't making any noice. It wasn't until I explain to him that my washer shake loudly when it in spin cicle, so he made a through inspection by opening the top section of my washer and notice right away what was problem. The spring was broken. I asked him, if it was an easy repair? his reply was yes but the problem was that he couldn't find the model number and without that, he couldn't order the part that are needed nor could he give me an estimate. He gave me 30 day from then to get the model number, so that he can give me an estimate and subtract the amount I had already paid. So for the past three week I was looking like crazy for the model number as I had weeks of dirty clothing piling up. I had stop at diferente appliance shop in hope of them knowing the model (washer was a hand me down from my parents) it wasn't until I told my husband to see if we can find it on the washer, that we actually found our model number!! My husband remove the same led the tech removed, and BAM right in your face was the model number. I decide not to be upset about it, thinking he might had over looked it and give them a call again for an estimate. At the end we decide not to go ahead with the repair as it was a-little over $400 and that with a reduction of what I had already paid before. We end up fixing it our self and safe about $300. Even though we didn't end up using them for our repair, their staff where kind and friendly. Every time I call, the ladies on the phone we're so polite. The only reason I'm giving them a three star was for all the hard work in search of the model number that had been on my washer all along and we felt that it was a little pricy for repair, knowing that the part weren't so expensive. read more

Two hours after I posted the review, Dylan Connor, the head of the company, called me and agreed I had been overcharged. He refunded me a fair amount. I think he was genuinely concerned by what had happened, and was not only reacting to the fallout of a negative review on Yelp. I retract my criticism. read more

Overall Conner's Appliance was able to get the job done, but I was not impressed with the service or service member. We had Robert come out to look at our fridge and at first he was nice and friendly but throughout his assessment, he was condescending and didn't explain his process at all. When I asked him for further explanation of everything, he quickly put me down and said he's been doing this for many years and knows what he is doing. I simply asked for an explanation before he was asking me to sign for half of the labor and part cost. When he came back to put in the part, he wasn't any different. He kept giving his input on private conversations I was having with my family members while he was working and whistling/humming loudly during these conversations. I am just used to a service member keeping to themselves while they work. When he was done we asked to check out things to make sure they are working, and he condescendingly said go ahead, but I just did that. read more
