We stopped in here after a long day of volleyball and because it was so close to our hotel. We had about 25 people in our party spread over 3 tables and one server. We did mostly use the bar separately, but our server really did a great job handling everything. The bar was helping people from the restaurant and the neighboring hotel walk ups. There were 2 people working and they were definitely slammed, but managed to get things cranked out pretty quickly. I had the BBQ pork nachos and moscow mule. Both were great. We will be in the area again soon and I'll certainly stop in to try something else. read more

Although I've eaten here before when visiting for a funeral, that initial 1st experience was such that I would look forward to coming back. I recall the ambiance for both the restaurant adjacent to the hotel and the rooftop was great! The rooftop has a decent view of the skyline and overlooks Parkview Field, home field for the Fort Wayne TinCaps. Drinks and food were good. Definitely a solid 4 star visit. My 2nd visit was a few years ago when visiting for my younger cousin's funeral. That experience was disappointing to say the least. I attempted to order the praline Pecan Praline Baker French toast. The waiter came back and stated that it would take 40 mins to bake the bread for the French toast entree. This establishment opens at 7am on Sunday. The waiter also shared that the staff comes in at 4am to prep (later corrected to 5am). With a 7am opening this restaurant should be up and running and prepared to serve all breakfast menu entrees. Make it make sense?! My current experience, while visiting family. For Thanksgiving 2023, so far has redemptive qualities. I am purposely staying over a few nights to make another attempt at ordering the Pecan Praline French toast. Wish me luck. read more

My boyfriend, his brother and I were looking for breakfast on a Sunday and thank god this place was open. Easily one of the best breakfasts I've had here in Indiana, we ordered the donut app and they were crispy and fried to perfection. The bourbon glaze and cinnamon sugar was soooo yummy. I had the chorizo hash, and they ordered the green enchiladas and the breakfast sandwich. Everything was seasoned beautifully and the drinks were great. Personally, I would add another egg to my hash bc it only comes with one fried egg, and I like the extra protein. I tried my boyfriend's enchiladas and I'm def getting those next time I go. Easily one of the nicer breakfast experiences I've had. Thank you Connors! (Don't be fooled by what looks like a small portion, it was actually very filling, and Parking may be tricky so try to find parking nearby on the street if you can secure a good spot with no parking meters, or the parking garage is only a dollar or two to park. We visited Conner's Kitchen Bar the day after Thanksgiving. We have stayed in this hotel, many times, but we haven't been here since the renovation. The transition from sports bar to restaurant/ bar has been a positive! The service with Johnny was fast, friendly, and informative with tons of fun personality. For an appetizer we chose the fried green tomatoes. Besides being a work of art, this appetizer was everything you would want: hot, crispy, and fried to perfection! We shared a fried chicken meal. Plus, we also had a side order of elote, which is served in a small bowl. The chicken was crisp, hot, and came with a lovely, sweet and spicy sauce. We loved it! The slaw, being handmade, was a revelation, although we wouldn't have put red peppers into it due to personal preference. The only sad thing that we could remark upon would be that the mashed potatoes cool off to quickly. We were unsure whether that was because they had sat a little longer, or just the life of a mashed potato. The furniture and dishware were tailor made for this spot, as were the dish towel-like napkins. Our seats were outstandingly comfortable. Careful, those cocktail prices (superb drinks that they are, especially the frosti spritz) add up quickly. Overall, it was a very, very nice experience and we will be back. read more

Stayed at the Courtyard Marriott and decided to do dinner here after a long day. The first night, there was a 2 hour wait since we didn't have reservations so tonight did a to go order. I order the southern fried chicken with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The chicken was perfect cooked and tasted like my grandmother was in there blessing the kitchen. So perfectly crispy and paired with a red pepper honey (deliciousness). My mom had the bacon cheeseburger (bacon on side - I ate it and it was perfectly thick cut) and no cheese. She swapped the fries for the elote - that she thought was fabulous!! We debated ordering somewhere else but so glad we did take out here! Planning to try their breakfast in the am. read more

My wife and I ducked inside after getting caught in the rain - no umbrella. I asked for a couple of bar towels to dry our faces/hair a bit. Without batting an eye, Jenny brought two towels to our table. She checked on us throughout the meal and took very good care of us. Hot coffee was good and reasonable priced. Gnocchi Chicken Soup was very tasty - spices must have been fresh, which was a real flavor treat! Fish Taco was OK, only because our stomachs can't handle spiciness, like in our youth. Bacon Cheese Burger was amazing, with thick bacon slices. It came with a load of delectable fries! Tried the drink "Lavender Haze." NaNa said that she would order it again! My sip smelled refreshing, and the taste hit all the boxes for a fun lunch treat. We liked the well lit, open dining area. The music was enjoyable and at a volume that allowed us to have a conversation. The bill was comparable (maybe a bit better) to other nice restaurants in the area. An okay spot in Fort Wayne. It is located within the Courtyard by Marriott downtown. Restaurant space is nice. Service was okay. I actually went here twice. I first had the Southwest Salad and added chicken, I believe it was over $20 total once I did that. It was just okay, not much flavor. I went back a second time on Friday for happy hour, turns out they don't do happy hour on Fridays. Might I add that it's a little deceptive that they have a large sign outside the building advertising happy hour but no days of the week on it, seems like a way to get people in the door. Had the Brussels sprouts the second time, they were way too sweet and sticky. Would probably only go back to this place if I was staying at the attached hotel. read more

This is my favorite brunch spot so far, as we eat our way through our new home town! It's a standard space-not interesting, but the food!!! Wow. DO NOT skip the donuts...they are amazing! Actually-get the crab hush puppies, too -divine! We've tried many items- everything has been perfectly cooked and seasoned. The shrimp and grits is wonderful- although I think it sits in the window waiting for other dishes to be ready because a skin forms on the gravy (gross). We had a reservation at lunch time since we were in town for a conference at the convention center. We were seated right away and our table as very nice and comfortable. It was not terribly busy, but it still took close to an hour to get our food. We had club sandwiches and water. Nothing in that order takes a long time to prepare. When the food finally came, the bread on both club sandwiches was limp, not toasted at all. The sandwiches tasted good. The waitress was nice enough, but did not check back to see if we wanted anything else after bringing our food. It also took her forever to cash us out. She kept walking by and taking care of other tables. I finally literally chased her down to cash out. She looked startled and like she had forgotten us completely. Nice little farm to plate place in downtown Fort Wayne. We started with the Lump Crab Hush Puppies which were ok but not great. The centers were pretty doughy, almost raw and there was very little Crab. The plate of 7 was $14 which made them a bit steep. I got the burger, ordered medium-rare. It was closer to a medium-well but was still pretty juicy and not dry. The bacon on it was so good I almost ordered a side of it. The potatoes that came with it were amazing!!! Nice, crispy crunch to them while still tender on the inside. The omelet that my friend had was plentiful with lots of stuff added. Service was ok, they weren't very busy but only saw 2 servers and 2 hostess. Had to ask for refills and a couple forgotten items but she did bring them quickly. I love how this restaurant is connected directly to a Courtyard Hotel. Makes dining so convenient. When I visit Fort Wayne on business this is where I eat. The food is amazing. The meatloaf is probably their best dish. The Ny strip is also phenomenal. Wonderful seasoning on the food. This time I also tried the smoked wings. Absolutely amazing. The butter cake dessert? How can you say no? Terrific! Service is great as well. Attentive bar staff and our waitress was on pointe and terrific. Exceptional. This place is comfy with a nice modern industrial country vibe.
