The ends of my hair has been bothering me for quite some time. It reminds me a lot like spider legs, which creeps me out too! Ugh!!! And I've been wanting bangs that lay right on my cheekbones, but I haven't found a hairstylist that can give me that until today. Connie's studio room is located inside 24/7 Salon & Day Spa Studio, which is in the same business complex of 24 Hour Fitness on W. Tropicana Ave. I got lost trying to find her in this huge place. Her room is after the reception desk, on your right! If you start seeing the sinks to wash your hair, you've passed it. She has a cute, little studio room to herself, which I prefer. No distractions and it's only you to work on. I do love the fact that she doesn't double book and takes her time in doing your hair. Even if another client comes early, she lets them know she's with a client right now, they're early, and if they would like any magazines to keep them occupied. She was blow drying my hair at that time and told me.. I'm not done with you yet. I'm going to dry cut your hair after this. AWESOME :) I thought she would be eager like some hairstylists I've gone to, that once another client came in, I wasn't the "client" anymore. And this client that came in early had not one, but three girls with her that wanted to get their hair did by Connie. It didn't even phase her and she continued with working on my hair. It didn't even distract her focus on me, it was about me on my time with her. Lovelovelove that. That is the main reason why I was looking for a new hairstylist in cutting my hair and I'm so happy I found Connie :D She's very chill, personable, funny, and sweet. The whole time I thought I was chatting it up with an old friend. I showed her several pictures of how I would like to grow out my hair and the bangs I've been wanting to achieve. I told her about my scary spider legs ends of my hair and was in need of a trim. She not only cleaned up my ends, but made my whole hair feel so light and soft. It looked healthy again and I wasn't scared no more in those spider legs! I'm completely satisfied with the outcome of my haircut. In love with my new bangs. Connie is the only hairstylist that achieved exactly what I wanted from the first try. She worked nonstop in giving me some definition and style to my hair. She even cuts the way I like and takes each section, pulls it up, and cuts my hair to even the strands. Even took the time in dry cutting after blow drying. I can feel she loves what she does and cares about my hair. A true perfectionist at heart making sure every strand got attention. Absolutely love her style. I'll definitely be back for a trim. Connie was so friendly and gracious enough to fit my partner and I into her busy schedule. I ended up getting highlights done and the color turned out great. I'm a little late with my review, but here it is. I bought my groupon, schedule my appt for Friday afyernoon, as it worked well into my schedule. But, then I received a call from Conni, saying she was sick and wpuld have to reschedule my appt. I was not haloy, but then on Saturday zhe messaged me and got me in for my cut on Sunday, and that won bonus loints wkth me. So, k went foe my cut on Sunday, oh and she got me in an hlur before the salon even opened. She, did a great job wirh my cut, listend to ehat I wanted and she was super friendly, too. I've been coming to Connie for 9 months now, and I doubt I'll go anywhere else. Connie is a perfectionist- the most meticulous hair dresser I've ever had. I have always left loving my haircuts. She's professional, experienced, listens/suggests, very reasonable on her prices, and just all around a fun person. I used to go to high end salons and a lot of time had left disappointed. Rude! I was trying to look for a new hairstylist in the area since I just moved in town from California. I'm a big Yelp reviewer and I saw Connie with good reviews. I also saw someone else mention Groupon so decided to contact Connie to book in an appointment. Groupon is for $20 (haircut, wash blow) however it doesn't state it's more money depending on length. So Connie very professional decided to txt message instead of calling back my number. She mention via txt message it's $10 extra for mid back and $20 longer... ??? I told her I'm only looking for a trim not to actually cut my whole hair into a new hair style. Aside to that she said...I'm letting you now before you buy Groupon and if you still want an appointment let me know. The F***k??? I've never experience that type of customer service via txt message. I've been going to connie for a few years now.. and i can honestly say she is the best for me.. I'm a guy with thin blonde hair which seems to be a challenge for most hair stylists, but connie cuts my hair effortlessly and comes out great every time. She gives me the type of hair cut that looks great right away not the following week. As far as price goes, its extremely fair for such a premium haircut experience. In addition to her skills, she's very friendly and so comfortable to be around because of her personality. Well, we were leaving in four days. A visit to her shop proved fruitless. She also knows what type of hairstyle would complement your face shape.
