So this is an obscure baby boomer culture reference, but do you remember an old Shirley MacLaine comedy where she kept marrying men who died in comical ways while she got richer and richer? One such man was Pinky Benson, a dancer who becomes a movie star and has everything in his Hollywood mansion painted pink including Shirley. That's what came to mind when I entered this subterranean shop. Everything was pink. What a happy place to be. Other cupcake bakeries will try to wow you with their diversity and elaborate muffin top decorations, but this place offers only one kind, a classic vanilla cupcake with a generous dollop of pink buttercream frosting (Photo 8). The BEST Cupcakes I've ever had and completely consistent every time I've ever gone there. They're open until Midnight for your late night snacking needs & they're DELICIOUS!!! Nothing to think about, just run over and get some. Comes in a mini or standard size cupcake. There's bistro tables outside if you wish to eat them straightaway. Or the super friendly staff can box them up for you. Depending on how many you buy, they usually can box it without an issue. Our cottage was located just a few minutes from Provincetown so we decided to stop by and I saw good reviews for ScottCakes on Google & Yelp before going. While walking around town we came across it so we had to try! The tiny shop was very cute and smelled heavenly. If they made a candle of this shop we would purchase it!
