I recently flew into Logan airport Friday afternoon after a long night (took a red eye) with a delayed flight and changed my next flight that my suitcase didn't get on so I decided to hang around the airport for 3 hrs while I waited for my suitcase to arrive on a flight that I didn't take. Well once you're downstairs in the airport you can't go back upstairs to where all the restaurants are to grab something to eat or a drink so your only options are Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks with no seating in either of these places. My friend had told me that I could walk over to The Hilton thru the airport & grab something to eat......so that is what I did! I didn't time the walk to this restaurant but I did on my way back & it took me 15mins to walk from here to gait B (American airlines). There were signs on how to get to The Hilton hotel but certain spots I wasn't sure if I was still heading in the right direction but I was & I made it! It's not a bad walk & I even was dragging my carryon suitcase & a small backpack with me. Connolly's was the first restaurant I saw when I went downstairs (you arrive upstairs if you do the walk) and they had a menu outside the restaurant so I took a look & saw some things that I was interested in. I went inside & grabbed a seat at the bar. I was greeted right away by David who was the bartender and ordered a High Noon pineapple & got a menu. He saw me looking under the bar & knew that I was looking for an outlet to plug my cell phone in....smart guy! LOL He informed me that there was one right behind me & I could sit at that bar table area but I wanted to stay at the main bar. I ended up ordering the fried chicken sandwich. It came with pickles, cold slaw, an aioli dressing & some "hot" sauce on it. David was nice to point out the hot sauce. I told him that I didn't like hot so he offered to put it on the side. I'm such a picky eater and I was taking a chance with getting this fried panko breaded chicken sandwich with all that stuff on it. I decided to go with homemade potato chips as their onion rings aren't homemade & I wasn't in the mood for French fries. My sandwich came out fast (it wasn't busy for a Friday afternoon, lunch time). I cut my sandwich in half & went to town. OMG it was actually really good!! It did come with two thin fried chicken patties on it vs one big one. I tried the hot sauce with my finger & decided to put some of it on my other half. I didn't find it very hot nor did I really care for it so I didn't put anymore on my sandwich. The homemade potato chips were tasty too. David was super friendly & attentive. Great service. Great food! I'd definitely come back. I did find their prices very expensive but it's The Hilton and expected. I got two High Noons @ $10 a piece & my Crispy Chicken sandwich was $24.00. Their clam chowder sounded good & I wanted to grab a cup to bring home to my Mom but I didn't want to have to carry it back to the airport with me. I highly recommend this place if you're hungry & have time to spare to come over here before or after your flight or even if you're in the area. Enjoy!! I did not eat at Connolly's Publik House, but I stopped at the bar twice for cocktails during my stay at the Hilton Boston Logan Airport. Service was decent both times. The place moved in waves; nearly empty one moment and packed the next, but the staff kept up with both drinks and food orders without falling behind. What stood out most was the convenience. After a long day of travel I was exhausted, and having a full bar with a solid liquor selection right inside the hotel made things easy. I would return for the same reason. read more

Refreshing Kona draft beers and a pretzel with creamy (Mac and cheese style) cheese and mustard dips. Pretzel could have used more salt but it was served at a perfect temperature. Soft and delicious. The Kona beers were perfect! Great start to vacay before hitting our am flight! read more

Conveniently located inside the Hilton at Boston Logan airport, it totally lacks atmosphere, unless you like a brightly lit sports bar without views. Since I had seen some good reviews, we gave it a shot. The drinks were nice but the food mediocre and my impossible burger tasted a bit burnt and the avocado had some bad spots in it. The fries were OK but a bit on the cold side. The pizza my husband ordered looked like it had come from a factory. Pricey too. Unless you don't want to go anywhere else because you're a tired traveler (as we were) I don't recommend this place. Basically self service and no one checked on us. Impressive food but disappointing service. This place has your typical hotel restaurant vibe and appeared understaffed. We waited on the benches outside for a table, and were sat after 20 minutes or so at a booth by the kitchen. It wasn't too loud but it took a while to have our orders taken. We saw multiple parties sat after us get served before us. Drinks and food came out very slowly, as did refills for our eaters. However what we did get was enjoyable. I came here mainly for the convenience of the Hilton being attached to the airport during a long layover. Since we couldn't check in our bags, we decided to have an early dinner at Connolly's Publik House, an Irish pub restaurant. We were seated at a long table in the back, but service was slow, likely due to a shortage of servers. On the bright side, they did not rush us, which was appreciated as we were killing time before check-in! For appetizers, we ordered chicken wings served with three sauces. They were pretty good! For entrees, I had the grilled steak pita with green goddess dressing and swapped regular fries for parmesan fries, which was the right move. My partner had the build your own burger with regular fries, but the regular fries seemed overcooked and stale compared to the parmesan fries. Overall, Connolly's is decent and convenient if you are at the airport, but nothing extraordinary. read more

Convenient with good service and good food. On at Sunday evening at 6:15 we put our name on a wait list for about 20 minutes. There were benches to sit on. Connolly's is large with booths and tables, and a long bar. The menu had a variety. I had the arugula golden beet salad. Was pretty garnished with red radishes and was delicious. The quesadillas came with three full of meat, folded like tacos. Very good. Our margarita pizza had mushrooms and sausage added. The crust was thin, crisp and a bit chewy. Was wonderfully tasty. After reading the most recent reviews and not wanting to leave the hotel, I gave them a try. They were slammed and took a little while to get seated and place my order. I ordered the Charred Cauliflower for an appetizer and Wild Rice Bowl salad with grilled chicken. My salad was refreshing and light with a nice complement of a moist grilled chicken, though not worth the $10 upgrade for a very small piece of chicken. Maybe $7. Overall, not a bad experience and would try this place again when in town. read more

We had the build your own burger, wings and the parmesan fries. I'm not typically a burger girl but it was absolutely delicious!! Wings and fries were good as well. This was, like many others, our only option for dinner. We saw the reviews and were very nervous. It ended up being a very pleasant surprise. We started with the wings and onion rings. Both very solid, and the blue cheese was great. My sister also got clam chowder and that was very good. I got the smoked cuban and it was excellent. My sister got the fish and chips as her main and they were pretty good. My dad got the bacon and blue burger which was cooked to perfection and the blue cheese was perfect on it. On food complaint was that I didn't love the fries. Service was spot on, another issue we had read plenty about, but our waitress was very nice and on top of everything. I tempted fate by ordering a crispy chicken sandwich tht overloaded with stuff, kinda soggy as a result and accompanied by sad salad of mixed, wilted greens that I didn't eat. Sausage flavor minimal, sauce no flavor at all, cheese clumped into a ball in your mouth and crust was thin frozen Pizza crust, absolutely terrible. Worst Pizza I've had in years. I come here at least every other month. The food is nothing to write home about. The portions are a good size. I do like their clam chowder. Plenty of clams! If you have read my other reviews I am all about the service. The service here is in need of some help! They are very slow to wait on tables and forget about them checking in on you to see if you need anything. I am quite sure if there was another restaurant within walking distance this place would be closed in a matter of months. Pleasantly surprised tonight, to my astonishment. I fly out of Logan a few times a a year, and in the past, food was adequate at best. Prices have skyrocketed, but my beet salad (arugula, endive, roasted yellow beets, blueberries, watermelon radishes in a light mustard vinaigrette) with sliced sirloin on top was fabulous. Not a wilted green or berry, very impressed! Next time will order a burger, next table over had one that looked good Bodes well for future travel! One downside...weird host checking people in. I should of checked reviews first but needless to say we walked in to t sign that said seat yourself. We walked around the restaurant to multiple tables that said table is closed. We found one in between two other tables that had guests sat down. We were there for 5 minutes and a server came up and said this table is closed and just began to walk away. I told her all the tables said closed and this was the first one we found. She got pissed and said "we know our sections and she is not here today and walked away". The hostess or manager white jacket lady came up and said she was moving us. That was enough we walked out. We ordered Uber eats to hotel and enjoyed our food so much more. Don't risk eating at this place they know the options are limited and they treat you like dirt. If you're staying at the hotel you already paid over $250 for a room. You shouldn't have to deal with that type of service at a hotel restaurant your spending that much money at. read more

If you are reading reviews on this spot, you're likely a current or future guest at the Hilton Logan Airport. Why do I say this? You're only eating here if you truly have no other option. Given ordinance prohibits any deliveries to the Hilton, you're stuck with catching a ride out to pickup food or eat at Connolly's. They have a captive audience and they know it. They're also not shy in any way about it in terms of food quality, service, attitude, customer experience, and pricing. I'll start off with customer experience and attitude. After a long day of travel, you'd think they'd make it easy for those just off a flight to grab a quick bite. Not the case here! The staff has a consistent horrible attitude. Much of the staff has been here a bit too long and it shows in the service provided. Yet, they slap a minimum tip onto every single tab. If you don't like it there is a water bottle in your room by the mini fridge. They do not offer any in-room service. You'd think in a hotel of this size and the 24/7 business they're getting would entice them to offer it. Not the case. They'll tell you to get in the elevator and come get it. If you're looking for the menu in your guest room and unable to find it, check the TV. They have it on a rotating slideshow on the TV when you first turn it on. I wish I was kidding. No printed menu in the room. No online menu. No website. No QR code menu. Nothing. The food and drink quality is absolutely horrendous. I have stayed here many times due to delays or the night before an early morning flight. The same folks are here 10 years later with the same bitter attitude and hand out expecting a tip. It's truly astounding. If they didn't have a captive audience, this place would be gone tomorrow. The offerings are all low-quality, high-profit food products right off the Sysco or Gordon Food Service Truck. The menu also constantly changes, likely due to whatever is on special from their supplier that week or month. Typically, you can expect low quality, high-priced pub food. You'll be paying $18-$27 for a handheld or overcooked cheeseburger. The last visit in mid-August I ended up paying $17 for a turkey sandwich with stale house chips. While the portion was decent, the quality did not justify the price. Half ended up in the trash. Beverages are also just as terrible. You wonder how it is possible. Given the volume and the constant wait here to sit down, you'd think they'd turn their bar. I was served bad white and red wine on multiple occasions. The attitude I received when I asked them to uncork a fresh bottle was mind boggling. The vibe and attitude is that of a captive audience. Nobody wants to be here. Everyone knows it isn't worth the price of admission. Yet, it's 10PM after flying all day. They know you cannot order delivery and they know you likely will not be going out after traveling all day. I have hoped that a new concept would take over this spot. Unfortunately, this spot and the people working have somehow kept up the act night after night for 10+ years. It is truly a shock that they could not instill a better concept. If I was a pilot or flight crew stuck here on layover regularly, I'd probably demand a reassignment. If you can, grab something to go on your way out of the airport. Otherwise, be sure to scope out and plan to pickup your food and drinks before you get to the hotel. And as I stated, expect a mandatory tip on every tab. read more

If you're staying at the Logan Airport Hilton, and you're not interested in leaving the immediate area, this is pretty much your only option for a meal. The atmosphere and decor are relaxed, and the service is professional, but you're essentially paying for meals based on airport convenience, which will be higher than elsewhere. The menu does cover all the basics, and the bar provides a large beverage option. I don't know how quickly hot foods come out, but we ordered salads, and they came out very quickly. My New England Cobb Salad had too much dressing, and the avocado was ever so slightly beyond peak, but it was otherwise fine. I did see some pizzas delivered to other tables. My opinion there is that there are excellent pizzerias and Italian restaurants in East Boston; you'd probably get better pizzas at a comparable price even if you had them delivered to the hotel. Other than that, if you're okay with the prices, you should find a meal here acceptable. read more

Went into the restaurant to grab a seat at the bar, noticed there was no seat open at the bar, and i noticed there were several tables open (about half capacity) so i sat at one of them awaiting a seat to open at the bar. Then a few minutes later, a man walked up and told me that i has to go back out front because i skipped the line. He was very accusational and didn't give me a chance to respond pointing me to the door.. before i could even explain that i was waiting on the bar and could have just stood by the bar or something, He basically ushered me to the door. I was pretty upset and we exchanged words. I will never step foot in that place again. The service at this restaurant is not what it used to be. Id rather walk the 3 miles back to the airport and go through secondary screening at TSA, than be treated like that again. read more

The food is better than the service (terrible). The *only* restaurant that I've ever been to anywhere in the US that slaps on an automatic gratuity of 15% on your bills for a take-out and 1 guest. Tipping culture in America has long crossed the line, and this place takes it to the next level. The level of entitlement from some of the restaurant businesses in the United States is next level. If they are acing the food and service, it is one thing to demand tips, but this business... It is all pub food (expected), and the only convenient restaurant for Hilton guests who don't want to make the trek to another restaurant late at night. The first time that I was here, I got the roasted beet salad, to go - the only light meal that I could find on the menu, for a late night meal. They missed packing the vinaigrette with the to-go meal. And the lady at the to-go counter seemed to be in a constant hurry. She wouldn't even seat the to-go guests, but will blatantly ask you to wait outside. Laughable service for a 15% automatic gratuity that they decide to extort from the guests. The second time that I was here again for a take-out, I got the basic cod sandwich, which coincidentally was tasty. There isn't much of a choice if you are checking in late night into the Hilton. Consider picking up or eating your dinner at one of the dining places at the airport, before checking into the Hilton. read more
