Superlative service. They continued to call me even though I didn't see their phone messages so that we could have our washer/dryer the day before it was planned, which is what we wanted. We needed our Whirlpool washing machine repaired. We live in Kailua-Kona. We called Whirlpool, they made an appointment for us with Lake Appliance, in Hilo. The very next day Lake Appliance called and said they are not available for the Whirlpool appointment. Their schedule is full and it'd be at least 2-weeks before they were able to come out. A friend referred me to Jon Conrey of Conrey Appliance Service. We called left a message on Monday morning, we quickly got a call back saying Jon was in the area and could come that afternoon! Same day service - WOW! Jon was very professional, and friendly. He repaired our washing machine, he even took the time to check out our Whirlpool refrigerator's Ice Maker and gave us some advise and options. He'll be returning to make repairs to our Ice Maker. This is my second review for Conrey's Appliance Service. Our Frigidaire stack washer/dryer was under extended warranty. After a call the warranty company and being told "we don't have any repair contracts on Hawaii Island", I encouraged my husband to forget the warranty and call Conrey's again. They gave us great service two or three times before. I would rather pay than wait weeks for someone to maybe show up. A call to Conrey's and office staff member, Juanita gave us an appointment 5 days out. New Year holiday was part of the 5 days. John came at the scheduled time. He had our washer diagnosed and repaired in less than an hour. Their rates are very fair. By the way, we are still waiting to hear from the warranty company two weeks after first call. read more
