We miss our dog and would like for him to be home where he belongs. This place lied to me and would not let me pick up my dog within a reasonable amount of time. I called and spoke with someone and asked about him he was there the very next day I went to pick him up and he was gone they knew I was looking for him this place sucks

I am shocked at the low star ratings. I adopted an amazing dog from MCAS. She did have kennel…read morecough, but I took her to my Vet and we got her well, plus we needed to get established with a Vet and pick flea/heart worm medication. The adoption fees are low so an adopter can take animals to their own Vet. Some people cannot take of one pet, so if are caring for 400 it is a major task! So did those who did not like the smell or thin dogs offer to donate food or sign on as a volunteer to help keep the place clean. No, I don't think so. I have seen injured animals, but I take them to the nearest Vet for help. Most likely the Vet may know the animal and can contact the owner. If you are bringing animals in, oftentimes they are your animal. You definitely don't get to complain! Like I said, they need volunteers, so put your boots on and help or donate!

Within less than 12 hours of bringing her home, she began suffering from severe labored breathing and extreme lethargy. I had to rush her to an emergency veterinary clinic Wednesday morning where she was admitted with a dangerous 105°F fever and fluid in her lungs. The emergency veterinarian confirmed that this severe infection was absolutely contracted and incubating while she was inside this shelter's facility. To make matters worse, the shelter's medical clinic is only open on certain days and times, leaving helpless animals and new adopters completely stranded without care during weekday medical emergencies. Because of their negligence in adopting out a critically ill, underweight kitten who had just undergone surgery, I am now facing thousands of dollars in emergency vet bills just to keep her alive. Please be incredibly careful if you adopt from here. Check your animals immediately and be prepared for hidden medical emergencies. I'm sure they're trying their best, but this is the second kitten we've gotten from them.. 1st one passed from pneumonia.. and now this one is having problems.

Where do I start!!…read more First and foremost I want to thank God! Lmao no fr because I had such a bad experience at Petland Woodlands that it was by chance of me coming to this pet store. The first day I came Pet Fair my heart was truly broken from my experience at Petland that I decided to try Petfair the same day.. I truly couldn't connect with all the cute dogs there and they are sooooo cute! Very playful dogs etc but the dogs I seen just still couldn't buy my heart. My experience with the employees there was great however they were NOT trying to break my bank or force me into buying a dog at all!! They wanted to make sure I was just as in love with the dog before making a purchase. The next day I decided to go back with an open heart and upon me walking in I met Janet! Janet asked me about my daily routines.. what I was looking for (I had no specific dog I was looking for) and what type of work I did. Immediately based on my personality she showed me my lil guy who in my eyes at the time was a big guy! Lmao I was nervous like "Janet that's a big dog!! He gonna be too big" she reassured me that he wouldn't get too big.. gave me time to truly do my research on his breed and explained why she felt he was for me. I finally took the chance of meeting him. He immediately came out and stood on is legs and hugged me!! I was like omg! His personality literally was just like mine! Let's have fun but let's chill! As a DJ this is me 98% of the time! My heart fell in love. I completely forgot about the dog I thought was for me at the other store and I trusted Janet and Roberto with assist lol to move forward on getting him! I've had dogs in my lifetime.. it's been a week since I've had my new baby and I named him Teddy! He is by far the best dog I've ever had! Not only that but this pet store I'm convinced does some sort of training for these dogs. At 5 months old crate training has been simple I mean absolutely 0 issues. Potty training has been a 7.5 out of 10 and I honestly think we only had minor accidents because he's getting use to his new home! Teddy and I have fit right into each other and I have absolutely no regrets about choosing him as my fur baby! I'm a TikTok influencer and let's just say this Teddy is loved heavily already by my followers and he's a lil ladies man already! lol Thank you so much Janet & Roberto!! Thank you Pet Fair all together! You guys are awesome! ‍ Blessings! From Teddy and I‍

What is happening inside Pet Fair is not business; it is absolute cruelty. When you walk in, you…read moreare greeted by rows of small, cramped boxes packed with puppies and kittens that are barely moving. They are filthy, suffocating in the heat because the staff cannot even be bothered to turn on a fan, and there is not a single water bowl in sight. Imagine being trapped in a tiny, boiling cage, covered in dirt, with no way to escape or even get a drink of water. The neglect is devastating. On my visit, there were four staff members standing around doing absolutely nothing while kids openly yelled and slammed on the glass, terrifying the already exhausted animals. In the corner, a dog with a heavily matted face was continuously opening and closing its mouth--clearly suffering from severe dehydration and begging for a drop of water that never came. These animals have no voice, no way to defend themselves, and no one inside those walls looking out for them. Buying a pet from this establishment only funds this misery. Do not give them a single penny. We need to look out for these helpless animals, spread the word, and report this facility until they are forced to close their doors for good.
