Once again, I visited the Conroy's Flowers on Sherman Way just West of Topanga Canyon and was not disappointed. I met with the owner Keyzar who helped me pick out an absolutely beautiful sympathy arrangement for a relative I just lost. While there, he also helped me with a Valentines arrangement for my wife. He always gives me a great deal and goes the extra mile to ensure my satisfaction. I've never gone away unhappy and always use them for flowers to be delivered. The arrangements are always exactly like pictured in the catalog. I've heard stories of other florists who deliver flowers that look nothing like what people order. I am in pure disbelief! I chose a nice arrangement from 1800flowers.com called "Charming Blush." The arrangement is all flowers in the white family with some baby pink, hence the name of the bouquet. It was stunning online, worth the $113 total (added a balloon). Thank God my friend sent me a photo of what she received because I would have never known and would had used this again in the future. What she received was 100% off from everything expected. The flowers used, the vase, the presentation. They used green flowers, full on green! Green and purple bouquet. I placed an order online for my mother, a day before Mother's Day and got a completely different arrangement from what was advertised. The order was also missing the chocolates that I paid extra for. If the business is not capable of making said arrangements that they advertise on their website they should not have misleading information. They agreed to send a replacement the next day, which they did but it was also nothing close to the pictures that they claim to offer online and an even smaller arrangement valued for less than what I paid for. What I ordered through the website is not what my sister received. I made sure to have her send me a pic of what she received to make sure the right floral arrangement was delivered. I ordered the LARGE bouquet of flowers, but what she got was more like X-small. I paid $100 for the bouquet and what was delivered was more like something you pay $10 from the swap meet or people selling flowers along the freeway exits. I ordered flowers through 1800Flowers.com & they gave it to this florist Conroys flowers in Canoga Park. The flowers they delivered were dry & brittle & the water was yellow. They couldn't even put fresh water in it. I complained to 1800flowers & they offered a replacement. Over the next 3 days they emailed the replacement was delivered but they weren't. I called again & they ordered another replacement. Same thing happened- they'd report it was delivered when it wasn't. I was home. After 4 days of doing this everyday I asked for a refund. They never intended to deliver a replacement. Horrible. Buyer beware. read more

I placed my order online through Teleflora and wasn't given an option for a florist (although the site has a box to check where you can pick a florist) so it was sent to Conroy's. As the confirmation email said, accommodations would be made if pictured flowers aren't available and the arrangement would be as accurate as possible to the photo. I understand with the current situation that some things could be scarce, but the bouquet my mother received as an early Mother's Day was nowhere near what was pictured. Especially given the coming holiday, I expected something close if not exact to what I found online since flower shops would be busy with customers. You know how it's best to receive cut flowers a day or two before they are at their peak and full bloom? Well, the roses that were delivered to me were way past their peak. The petal edges were already shriveled and they had a little droopy action going on. The outer petals were also starting to fall off. If you are gonna send somebody flowers, don't get them here. For the big $ that you're paying for long stemmed roses, they better be fresh and that word is not in their vocabulary. Also, they are hella cheap and give you one itty bitty package of flower food. The staff is also friendly, but when I got the AAA discount, the owner disappeared into his office for a bit to make a copy of my card which seemed weird. I can't think of another time where they needed a copy of my card to get my discount. Parking for this location can also be a pain in the butt since it's very very small. It's also on the corner of two busy streets so getting in and our can also be a difficult task. Just plan on coming in & going out with the flow of traffic. When I questioned them about considerable change in quality of flowers, they apologized & offered to fix it, then called back and said it's Mother's Day & adjustments had to be made.
