This is the cutest little coffee shop. My latte was perfect and the service was great. Well worth the trek through the fresh snow.

Awesome locally roasted coffee! Excellent eco friendly and women run business! Loved it!

Cute place, good breakfast sandwiches great coffee nice playlist too. They don't really speak to you though, so that's a bit off putting

Great coffee and books place. Swap books, buy books, borrow them. Lovely ambiance. Friendly people. Great coffee.

Very cute and cozy place to get coffee, tea, smoothies, and food. I'm very picky about iced coffee, and I loved theirs. I'm also a sucker for crepes - they had savory and sweet options. A good selection of veggie and vegan friendly foods and drinks as well. As a diabetic, I also have to applaud the variety of sugar free syrups - THANK YOU!! Staff is friendly.

Staying at the Talkeenta Alaskan Lodge, food options are limited unless you can swallow paying the astronomical prices. Browsed Yelp last night, and saw a recent review from a closed minded individual complaining about flags that ruined their chance for local coffee. I had presumed it was a pride flag, but I'm now 99% sure that it was the Palestinian flag that caused them to miss out on delicious coffee and breakfast. Conscious Coffee is a woman locally owned business that offers everything from drip coffee to crepes, milkshakes, lattes and smoothies. Prices are more than reasonable especially considering location. There's a small seating area outside with about 6 various sized tables to sit and enjoy your coffee, pastries and more. Customer service was top notch. Feels good to support a women owned business especially because of the flags.

Stopped by for breakfast based on the recommendation of their crepes. Outdoor dining area that is covered to stay dry if raining. My wife ordered the traveler crepes which were stuffed with spinach, feta, walnuts, and Kalamata olives. I ordered the sunrise sandwich which was an everything bagel with egg and cheddar cheese. Bagel was toasted perfectly. I also added tomato. Coffee was good and bold.

So, this wasn't my first choice (was aimin' for Spinach Bread, but they were gone for the season). But it turned out okay. The Sunrise Sandwich was tasty and hubs had the Peanut Butter, Banana, & Honey Bagel. We both enjoyed them. Would've liked them even more if there'd been a good place to sit. The inside is WAAAAY to small, and the covered patio area isn't much bigger. Yeah, there's plenty of table and chairs out in the yard, but it was a HUGE muddy mess that day and never stopped raining. If they could put some of their money back in to fix up the yard, or add on to the patio, that would help.

Saw this place when walking through Talkeeta and decided to stop in. The line was long so there's a bit of a wait to order and receive your goods. They have coffees, shakes, and crepes. I didn't try the food, but the drinks I got were meh. My dirty chai didn't have any chai flavor. My hubby's Iced mocha didn't really taste like mocha. Honestly they both kind of tasted the same. On the plus side the ambiance is really chill and relax. I like that there's lots of seating under shade and it's a nice place to take a break.

No trip to Talkeetna is complete without a stop (or three) to Conscious Coffee. If you're going for the Alaska vibe that was present in "Northern Lights" it doesn't get any more bohemian local than this. The hodgepodge patio furniture, friendly staff, and mix of tourists and locals make this a super cool place to people (and bird) watch and relax. They make excellent coffee beverages and bagle sammies as well.

Excellent latte and food. Nice people. There are no meat offerings, but cheese can be added to your sandwich for protein. Delicious!

CASH ONLY! All things being relevant this place is a surprise for its location. I had the daily…read morespecial which today (Monday) was the Bahn Mi pork sandwich. A surprise of soft French bread was still delicious but not your traditional crispy bread. I think I actually preferred the bread here as it held the flavors well and made eating it less of a mess. The mint was a nice touch along with the traditional cucumber and daikon but I was missing some of the heat of there jalapeños normally included. If this had been I. A larger market like Denver, LA, Chicago ,etc... I would have given it 4 stars. Governed are 100 miles north of Anchorage with not many choices I gave it five stars because who could have expected a Bahn mi worth eating for $17 in this location. Again price being relatively reasonable for this area options so it's pretty good for the price For dessert I had the Blueberry Rhubarb crisp. Tasty and $7 was fine for this location. Service was friendly but took about 12-15 minutes for the sandwich, the dessert they gave us right away. Remember to bring cash as that is the only option they offer for payment!

There was a line when we came, but it moved pretty quickly. We got two spinach breads for 3 people…read more We were having it as a snack, so it was enough. I do think it's a bit pricey for the size of the bread. It's $9 for one, and they only take cash. There wasn't too long of a wait once we ordered, but I did notice that the people who ordered the curry had to wait a long time. It might be best to skip the curry if you're pressed for time.
