Ok. This place is normally ok. I order fairly often. Today i order and they get my order wrong. It happens... i call to let them know, and i get put on the phone with Leanne who is so busy with so many customers and its my fault they screwed my order up. I tip their drivers well, today i gave 30 for a 23 dollar order. Screw you Leanne, you have seen my last dollar. And maybe train your staff to input orders correctly. Love the burritos. Always busy so plan for that. Do check your order before you leave because they do on occasion mess up the order.

I will start off with the good, the workers I communicated with were very friendly and willing to help in whichever way possible. Also their breakfast burritos are a staple in northern Colorado, I would not say they are incredible but they are consistently good and a solid bang for your buck. Now for the not so good, this is minimal but the service was far from efficient, I went through the drive thru and it was painfully slow to the point where you could see the frustration of the people in the cars in front and behind me as well. After waiting in the line I just got more disappointed when I got my food and found out I way over paid for grocery store taquitos. You only got 3 for the same price you could buy an entire 50 pack at any grocery store. This is not my first time going here and being disappointed with the food, every time I order something other than a breakfast burrito I feel like I am getting ripped off with quantity and quality. read more

The driest burrito I've ever had. You could feed me a burrito from the frozen section of Walmart and it would literally be the same experience minus dealing with a bitchy counter girl. On top of that they don't fold the burritos. Go literally anywhere else!!! read more

I've been here a few times because they're close by where we live in Old Town. The hand held breakfast burritos are a good deal ($3). Be warned that their chile sauces are hot. Or let me rephrase that... they're HOT!. I like spicy stuff but with Consuelo's I have to ask for mild. Twice recently they've only had veggie Tamales which was a bummer (their Tamales are my favorite, just not the veggie ones). Be aware that there's often a line backed up in the drive through and it takes a while. If the line is out to the street I usually just keep driving and go somewhere else. read more

We have been Consuelo's customers for years. I don't know that we will be back after tonight. They made our order wrong tonight and when we called to figure it out the woman that answered the phone was so rude and argued with me about the order. I had the receipt and they took the order correctly and made it completely wrong. She was so rude I'm not sure we will go back. They lost a customer that has come 2 or 3 times per month buying for a family of 6 for years. read more

Waiting 20 mins in the drive-thru and only ordered two bean burritos and two breakfast burritos. Look at the picture I attached and you can see that the burritos are half way put together. This is my GO TO BREAKFAST BURRITO place in Fort Collins! Don't let the broken down-looking drive thru scare you - it's worth it! They call this "New Mexican-style," bc of the homemade (locally famous) GREEN CHILE SAUCE (note the sauce IS vegetarian, they DO have a gluten free version, and both can be purchased by the jar from the restaurant or from any grocery store that sells local food products). Some people complain that their burritos are "too soupy," which is understandable but I prefer breakfast burritos this way as opposed to dry and requiring extra salsa (and also an extra hand to put the salsa on each bite). For ref, I do the Potato Egg Cheese, "half and half" (a.k.a., "medium hot"). The burritos are medium sized (but still about 3 bites too big for me). Watch for the liquid in the bottom of the foil. This place get's an extra star just because their breakfast burritos are pretty awesome! They're probably the sole reason I'd come back. Otherwise, probably would have scored a 2. I got a breakfast burrito here, and it was great! So, I then came back a second time to try their lunch menu. I was excited to try their sopapillas since you can't find them too much where I'm from (Cali). And, I fell in love with them while traveling through NM. But, they were pretty disappointing. We also tried a chimichanga, and the when the waitress brought both out at the same time, we literally could not tell which was which. Both were smothered in a kind of bland red sauce and topped with sad looking, shredded iceberg lettuce. Now, I wasn't expecting it to be fancy. I realize this is greasy-spoon, diner type Mexican food. But, still... the flavor/taste just wasn't there for me. From the chips, to the no tortilla and egg and all beans in my crazy bowl, literally eating Bean Soup right now. And not to mention I got chips instead what I ordered which was "chicharrons." So here I am waiting outside with 5 other people, 1 person gets there food before me, another person, and another, drive thru is just turning and burning cars.
