From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and stress-free. Juan, the owner, came out the very next day to assess the damage. He took his time to thoroughly inspect everything, explained the situation in detail, and by that evening, he had a clear and fair quote ready for me. I really appreciated how transparent and responsive he was throughout the entire process. We scheduled the work in two parts--first the downstairs, then the stairs and upstairs. The job involved removing the damaged laminate and old carpet, and replacing everything with luxury premium vinyl. Juan's team showed up on time, carefully moved all my furniture and belongings, and got right to work. They kept me abreast of the work and schedule along the way. They cleaned up every night and meticulous with their work. Along the way, they discovered some issues from previous installations--an uneven kitchen floor and a bedroom floor that didn't meet the walls properly. Instead of just covering it up, they took the time to fix the problems before installing the new flooring. The result is absolutely beautiful and feels like a huge upgrade from what was there before. Looking back I'm ok with what I paid because I had pity for Juan and the cheap labor workers he uses for his job. They will make it difficult to understand your bill while overcharging you as much as possible. My insurance agent said they are well known among the insurance community for doing just that. They will also just stop communicating. The workers are good (reason for two stars instead of one), but the project managers and company are very unprofessional and extremely underhanded. I had a large mold problem under an apartment building and at first they were great. Very nice, seemed trustworthy, started promptly with fast and efficient workers. The first problem was when they moved a resident's items out of and back into a small bedroom and living room. They did it before we agreed on a price, or the scope of the work, and then they charged me $9133 (that's not a typo)... and told me they were giving me a deal! They assured me all along that my insurance was great and they would pay for everything. I feel like such a fool for believing their line of BS. Once they did the lion share of the work (which I admit, was done well and quickly), and I paid them on time for the first several bills, they completely ghosted me and my insurance- even though the project wasn't done yet. Their bills say you will pay a penalty for late payment, pressuring you to pay before things can be assessed. This was one of the most stressful times of my life, and I didn't have time to go through the bill and question them, as I was working as hard as possible to do the remodel portion and get my residents back in, so I just paid it. I'm so sorry I did. If you actually look through the price list they make you sign in the beginning, it's bonkers! Need an electrician for an hour? They charge a MINIMUM of 8 hours! They have a person come in to monitor the moisture, takes about an hour- that personal also has an 8 hour minimum! $52 to detach a P-trap under a sink! (Takes less than 5 minutes). They charged me thousands of dollars to hook their drying machines up to the electrical panel! Many of their charges are DOUBLE what insurance allows (which is already generous- I know, because I have a construction background), and even their calculations of the space are lies- up to 25% more than insurance's calculations. They give you a bill that's difficult to asses, so that you have to go back through their price sheet for each type of work, and try to match it to what they actually did. When I brought all of this up in a detailed email they said, well, you already paid. After months of only answering emails after multiple attempts (from me or my. insurance), they sent me another bill for thousands of dollars. My insurance agent replied pointing out many things that were in the bill that they didn't even do. That was 50 days ago, and after multiple emails, they still haven't replied. Hiring PRC was once of the worst financial decisions I've ever made. I feel so taken advantage of and stupid. Save yourself, and go elsewhere.

We had a leak from our master bathtub into our kitchen downstairs through a can light. Plumber came…read moreout and fixed the issue very easily but recommended we reach out to a restoration company so they could inspect for water damage since we weren't sure if there had been any pooling in the ceiling or anything. He recommended Clear Coast Restoration. It was another week or so before we called them and they said they could come out the following Saturday. It had been a very slow dripping leak so we weren't too worried but they called back a couple days later asking if they could come later in the evening the next day to make sure there wasn't any major damage. Dillan (sp?) drove all the way from Rancho Cucamonga on a Monday night at 6pm to come and check this out! We live in Rancho Santa Margarita and despite the similar name, they are NO WHERE NEAR EACH OTHER! He was so kind and tested for moisture both upstairs and downstairs and even answered some questions I had about a creaky, warped floor. He had an ugly commute to our house and then drove all the way home for NO business! He was so kind and I felt so bad for having him drive all the way out here, only to find everything was totally dry! If we ever have a leak or restoration work that needs to be done, we know who we're calling. If they put this much effort into a possible job, I can only imagine the quality of their customer care when it's a real test of their craftsmanship. They also won our trust by excellent communication throughout the bidding process and the job itself, posting pictures regularly and taking phone calls promptly. They were not the cheapest but they are the best! They have applied three (or more) stages of mold remediation and have used the most thorough processes we could have wished for. They passed the air quality inspection with flying colors the first time.
