This was my first time at Contour. After reading many reviews, I decided to book with Maribel. There is a reason she gets so many positive reviews! She is amazing. I had an 80 minute hot stone massage; I left feeling absolutely heavenly and refreshed. She is so kind and friendly, and wonderful at what she does. I can't wait to book with her again. She also told me she does facials, so I will likely schedule a massage and facial with her on my next visit. She said that you don't even have to leave the room, which seems so nice. I spent some time in the steam room, sauna, and salt room after my services with Maribel. The spa is very relaxing, though maybe slightly outdated for persons my age. I usually like clean and sleek feels in a locker room. Contours could use a face lift, but it is still very clean and does the job. Overall, I did like my time at contour and would come back again. I'm just wondering what all can be done with the tubs. I know they do some services there, but not sure if I was allowed to use it to relax in. A multi person hot tub definitely would have hit the spot. Yes they charge you upon arrival. Yes they charge gratuity up front. I'm not sure why this shocks everyone since it's all over the place. It's on the website and they tell you as soon as you sign in. No, I have never experienced this at other spas; yes, I usually pay and give gratuity at the end; but this spa is set up differently than other spas and would probably be easy to walk out without paying if they didn't do it like this. I will not be returning. The check in process was very confusing. I could see them eating on the back. With a mouth full of food the lady comes out and directs us to the bathrooms. I opened every door including the laundry door thinking it was the locker room. Still couldn't find the locker room. When I checked in it smelled like food-not like a spa. Turns out they are selling tacos next to the checkin desk. I was not in a good place by the time I got to the massage room. I spent almost $500 for my husband and I to get massages. Not worth it at all. I paid for a hot stone massage and she didn't use the stones very much at all. Very unhappy. read more

I received a gift certificate from my husband to get a 1hr and 20 min deep tissue massage. Upon arriving at the spa which looked very old to me they need upgrading, I was told I needed to pay a gratuity of 32. I do not like this. I didn't even receive the service and forced to pay an amount that should be optional. I would like to pay after the service is received. My appt was 1 and the massage therapist came to get me at 1:10. She started the massage at 1:15 and said she was finished at 2. When I got up and noticed the time she said she wasn't 'told' it was an 1hr and 20min session. So had me return to the massage bed. By this time I was already over it. She was very talkative (maybe some ppl like that). The place is definitely over priced and will not be returning. read more

I think that this place needs a lot of renovations... still love this place... love that they have the salt room, sauna, steam room, and you have complete access to everything before and after your massage but a few renovations is definitely a must. I really don't like to go out of my way to post something negative unless I feel like it's enough to want to share with others. The positives- the staff were very friendly. That's just about it. My "massage" felt like I had paid someone to take an hours to rub body lotion all over me. It was the most unsatisfying massage. Aside from that, I really could not believe the condition of this property. I should've known soon as I pulled up. I bet it hasn't been cleaned or maintained since it's opened. All the money this place has made has never gone back into it. Not only that the lockers you use to put your valuables in have a numerical roll code that the staff members know and they leave it on the code, so you run the risk of not only being robbed by them but by others hearing them tell you the code! Had a 50 min massage today with Maya and it was a must i left her a review! Maya was not only friendly, welcoming, and passionate about what she does but she was also very accommodating since i could not lay directly on my face.
