If I was rating Maribel for her massage, I would give her a million stars. Her massage was the absolute best of my life, and she is amazing. I probably will go back for her to be honest -- but the spa itself is a disaster. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment time, which was made on the phone, and the staff called me a day before to confirm the day and time (11AM). When I arrived, there was two staff members at the front desk. One was helping the customer, and the other was doing something on her computer. I stood there awkwardly for 3-5 minutes before someone greeted me -- I would have expected a "we will be right with you". Whatever, moving on. When I was finally acknowledged, I was told that my appointment was at 1:30PM. After seeing all these comments beforehand I was obviously frustrated and concerned, but had evidence of the voicemail confirming my appointment as proof. Somehow I miraculously was able to have my 11AM appointment with the masseuse I scheduled it for after waiting for 10 minutes to figure it out in the back office. As others have mentioned, the spa is run down. The waiting room has a big sign that says "Please be advised that we do not carry liability insurance" which seems absolutely bizarre and probably illegal. The massage, as I mentioned, was amazing. I moved down to have a pedicure. It was fine, nothing special. The first color I picked was clumpy and gross. They put it back onto the wall which made no sense to me, and I picked out another color. Still a little thick but it worked. I ended up needing to put a topcoat on when I got home to smooth it out. Not super thrilled. Also during my pedicure, the person who I assume is the owner pulled another woman off her pedicure to handle some random business thing and was asking her for money for something. Just seemed like a bizarre transaction to do and would have been appropriate to wait until she had a break. I was on a tight timeline and would not have been happy if he had taken my person away to do random business (non-emergency) in the middle of the service I was paying for. Lastly I had my hair done. The woman was very nice, and she did a good job. Overall, not what I would expect to experience at a luxury spa. read more

I booked the quick fix package and I enjoyed it. The spa itself is a little old and outdated. my massage with Cindy was great. Carolina gave me one of the best pedicures I've ever gotten and my blowout with Jimmy was fabulous. When I called in I was told to come 30 min early and I'll be able to use spa amenity . I use to pass this spa all the time . So when I received a gift card for my birthday , I was excited. I always wanted to check them out. I arrived at 11:30. I was surprised on how dated the inside of the building was. Once checked in downstairs. I made my way upstairs to check in for my massage. I wasn't offered a robe or even to use amenity they advised me about prior to arriving. The lady upstairs didn't ask if this was my first time or anything. My appointment start on time. Maya was exceptionally professional and knowledgeable and sensitive to my needs by using a combination of therapies ease tension and soreness I didnt even realize I had. Richard also did tremendous work on my dad who is usually always tense and sore and was smiling with an expression of relief when his treatment was done. I generally don't write reviews here, but had to after my experience. My husband and I booked an all day exclusive spa retreat for our anniversary. Needless to say this spa is in a terrible state of disrepair. The plaster was falling off the ceiling in the wet spa area, the salt room had a broken TV sitting on the floor, and the facilities were not up to the cleanliness standards I remembered from when I was a regular customer years ago. We were on the schedule to start at 10 AM but were told a hour after we arrived that our first treatment wasn't until 11 am. So my husband and I waited in the salt room and were told that our providers would come get us at the time of the appointment. 20 minutes after our session was supposed to start I went to the receptionist who, abruptly retrieved our specialists and was visibly upset that they didn't come get us. The ladies looked bewildered like they had no idea that we were waiting in the salt room. The services were substandard from then on, with our final pedicures being done by people who voiced to both my husband and I that this was not something they typically do (nail services). Needless to say, a whole day & 2k wasted. Wish I could get that time & money back. read more

Experience was pretty disheartening. Wanted to treat my mom, who is recently widowed and always a caretaker, to a nice time with a massage. Some pros, a lot of cons: Pros: 1. Staff is kind, answer questions and some are better at service than others. 2. Massage therapists were very nice men who paid attention to our needs. Cons: 1. I made an appointment for two stress-reliever massages at 11:00am. Received a call and said they were all booked up and told that "probably when you were booking, other people took the spot and the system didn't update" even though on their website... every single time slot was open.... 2. Was moved to a different time and was given two Swedish massages instead. Gotta go on my bank now and make sure they charged me correctly, but doubtful. 3. On the phone I asked about amenities included and was reassured we'd be able to use steam & sauna. Well in other spas "sauna" means the hot tubs. Nope, not this place. An extra $80 charge to get in the tub. 4. We counted FIVE out of order signs - on the bathroom door, on the sauna, on the shower, on the tubs, on the water cooler. So, while we're trying to enjoy our bath, we're staring at an out of order sign. In my moms words "this place is pretty run down" and "why don't they just maintain it" 5. Even though we told them it was our first time here, were not given a tour, only shown the lockers. We had to walk around looking for the steam room and only found it at the end of our time there. Had to go to the front desk multiple times with questions. Not pleasant when you're trying to relax. 6. Weren't given sandals, only knew about them because we saw other people with them. Had to go to the front desk and ask. Why don't they give these items together with your robe??? 7. The ONE single working shower had no soap, at all. No shampoo, no conditioner, no body soap. Really nice... 8. People were eating their dinner inside of the locker room. It was a pretty icky feeling to try and get changed while theres someone's entire food next to you. Yuck. 9. WORST OF ALL: nobody picked up my mom on time for her massage. Someone took me first and the front desk had to approach my mother 30 minutes later to ask "no one has picked you up yet???" Then they proceeded to get her therapist. Not the experience anyone would expect, at all. So, all in all, wouldn't return. Please take my warning! read more

Customer service was low but services were pretty good overall. When I walked in I wasn't greeted. The employees, managers, staffing at the front desk didn't seem like they wanted to be at work. There is as a problem finding my reservations (someone purchased it for me as a gift) my massage technicians were really great(friendly, warm, very inviting) I probably would not come back due to the customer service. I had a gift card and decided to pull the trigger and get this redeemed. I read a lot of reviews and went with no expectations. I had 3 back-to-back services: Massage, facial and pedicure. The first sign of service was making the appointment. The representative was attentive, helpful courteous and very quick. She answered all my questions without rushing me. I then braced myself for a cancellation or scheduled services to be moved around. The only call that came was from another high-spirited rep confirming my appointment. I made it to my appointment on a Saturday. The gentleman at the front desk was attentive, friendly, quick and efficient. I brought a book assuming the 10 minutes between services I was told would be my wait time when I made the appointment was going to be a lot more. I never got to read more than a sentence or two. All my appointments ran the allotted time. All my services were done with great care. The massage was wonderful. I was pleasantly shocked and could not believe how much brighter my skin was. My pedicure was exactly what I wanted. Each of these professionals were attentive to my needs and continued to be inclusive during all procedures. They did not ignore me, asked questions and was not rushed. The facility was clean and with well stocked bathrooms and lovely changing area and the lockers worked just fine. I got the feeling that the establishment cares about their employees and there were plenty of them working. They are not short staffed. Spa is old and run down. Make sure to ask if they have hot water before you get hydrotherapy services. They did not on our recent visit. When we addressed it with management, they said they would 'look into it.' No refunds whatsoever. Overall a stressful experience after being promised $400 worth of relaxing experiences.
