Cute little coffee shop located in Liliha between Kuakini Medical Center and Liliha Bakery. If you're looking for a light meal with a cute ambience, this is the place for you. Lots of cutesy decor and items to purchase inside as well. Just note...parking is not the best especially if you go during popular eating hours. Best to go on off-peak hours if you don't want to worry about parking. There is a small parking lot (less than 10 stalls) to the side of their restaurant, but it's also shared with their neighboring craft store. If you're familiar with the area, maybe parking isn't too bad because you know the side streets or another area to park? But as someone not super familiar with the area, I was hesitant to go venturing for parking elsewhere. I'm not sure if I just got lucky or if parking is usually pretty easy, but there were two other cars waiting on the side in the parking lot to get stalls. I waited along the road right outside the parking lot for a few minutes and saw a car coming out, so I backed up and waited in the parking lot when those other cars went in. If you have a big vehicle, might be a little hard, though. As I mentioned, this is a small coffee shop type of establishment, so don't come here looking to bring a group of friends. There are only 4 tables that can accommodate two people per table. You can make reservations ahead of time, but they will accept walk-ins as well. Their menu consists of sandwiches, sushi cups, salads, powerbowls, and desserts. There's also a selection of drinks such coffees, teas, lemonades, and shakes. I got the Mrs. Crabbitz on Sourdough. Imitation crab salad with thinly sliced pieces of cucumber sandwiched between two pieces of sourdough bread. What's not to like? So simplistic, but enjoyable. I also got the Magic Unicorn lemonade. Lemonades are not my usual go-to drink by any means, but the beautiful colors of this drink were so captivating that I couldn't miss this IG-worthy moment. Plus, how can you deny the cute unicorn straw topper that they add? When the worker gave me the drink, she made sure to remind me not to forget to mix it up before drinking it. However, because of the unicorn topper, I couldn't get my straw down far enough to mix it with the (what I think) cotton candy blue sugar on the bottom. I had to remove the lid and dunk my straw in to get it all mixed up. Kind of ruined the bottom of the unicorn *sad face* So be sure to get your pictures taken before enjoying this drink. It wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be since I heard cotton candy and thought it would be unenjoyably sweet. Just your typical lemonade, though...nothing too special taste wise. Not sure if I'd be back, but it's definitely a place I'd recommend people to at least try if you want a nice little lunch place with a friend. read more

While the cafe was cute, the food and coffee were lackluster. I ordered the kaleidoscope bagel and the iced vanilla mac mocha. In my opinion, the decor of the bagel had less of an awe factor than what I'd seen in previous reviews, and considering it is simply a plain bagel with plain cream cheese and fruit - the taste was less important to me than the aesthetic. It tasted simple and sweet as one might expect. The coffee however was abundant in sweetness. It was so overwhelming I decided to give a different drink a try. I returned to the counter and ordered a latte (the flavor I cannot remember) but again, it was made too sweet. I ended up throwing them both out. I would recommend this place to someone looking for a sweet treat - not breakfast. Unless you like a sugar dense breakfast, than this place is for you! The staff were as sweet as the coffee they make however, and we appreciated their hospitality. read more

Tiny little shop located at the corner of the intersection. There's street parking or a large parking lot on the side. Entrance is off of liliha street, don't drive to fast or you'll miss it. They have a nice sitting area outside and couple of seats/tables inside. Staff is very friendly and the prices for their salads and sandwhichs are reasonable and not to expensive. They have a bunch of drinks to choose from. The crab sandwhich is tasty and quite filling. The salad is really good. The unicorn lemonade was a little bit on the sweeter side, but good. Overall nice little place to grab a quick bite to eat and just sit outside and relax even though there's alot of roadway noise. There's also a bunch of trinkets and gifts that they sell in the shop. If you're in the area for a light/quick bite or a refreshment, this is a really good place. read more

Visited them again since I want to try their Golden Moon Milk, very unique drink you don't find at other place. Is almond milk, maca, tumeric, honey and cinnamon. They are not stingy when putting all the ingredients to the drink. Is a very spiced drinks, if you don't like spice, you might not like it. But I love it except is too sweet, need to ask for less honey. I also get to try their Kalo scone today! (Yay, since I came Saturday noon, they don't have much baked goods left). Their scone is not the tough type, but more soft overall, the drizzling on top is not super sweet so it balance so well. And eat it when is hot since they toasted for you! One more pro is after they put the scone in a small white pastry bag, they also put in a brown paper bag, double securing the goodies. Highly recommend the shop and I think owner is the cashier today. Very friendly plus he offers me stamp card. I never got offer stamp card from previous visit. This small hole in the wall restaurant is located near Creations by You. It looks like a small mom and pop restaurant. They sell a variety of Cafe style drinks and food ranging from sandwiches, smoothies and desserts. I decided to order their their signature mochi waffle which is shaped like a Totoro which is only available on Tuesdays. This $4 dessert comes with one sauce of your choice. The sauces you can choose is maple, strawberry, chocolate, and caramel. The mochi waffle is crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. I chose to get the caramel sauce and it complimented the small waffle perfectly. I also decided to get their peach tea which was about $5 for 20 oz. It was pretty good. read more

I walk by Conversations most mornings and some evenings, but could never figure out what they had because they weren't open at those times. I finally had the opprtunity and got a yummy mocha milkshake last Saturday...I took a menu too. Wednesday I was able to go pick up lunch. I got the spicy tuna sandwich and a Korean tofu salad with Thai Green Dragon Limeade. The sandwich: tuna salad on soft Hawaiian sweet bread rolls...little pillows of comforting lusciousness with a delightful dash of chili pepper spiciness . The salad: generous base of watercress on romaine with tofu, taegu and tomatoes with dressing on the side. The dressing could use more ko ju jaeng, but I'm a chili fanatic. The limeade: very refreshing, not too sweet, tastes like it has a hint of basil and there is a light sprinkling of freshly ground black pepper on top - an unusual and delicious combination! Service is very nice, serving sizes are generous, the shop is cute with lots of little treats and doodads to buy, including "Our Daily Bread" in case you missed picking one up at church at the beginning of the month. What a great little cafe on the corner of Liliha and Kuakini Street. With a little seating area fronting the cafe, you walk in and you really begin to feel a 'breath of fresh air from the hustle and bustle from the outside world. Tables to sit at, flowers to adore (and purchase), and the smell of amazing coffee. My daughter and I ordered the mocha latte, and some lychee energy bars. Passed this cute spot otw to work. I had to check it out. They have specialty drinks, coffees, teas, sandwiches, and salads. The cafe is cute. It has some nice floral decorations and cherry blossoms. I came around 0800 am. There is a large sized parking lot right next to the cafe. I know I wanted to try the monster claw. Unfortunately, they were out of strawberries. So I ordered the kaleidoscope bagel instead. Still no strawberries but it came with beautiful decorations and colorful cream cheese on a plain bagel that wasn't toasted. It was pretty and one of their popular items. I find it strange that early in the AM they ran out of strawberries. I also ordered the LILIKOI iced tea. It came in a large plastic cup. The tea tasted nothing like LILIKOI. It just tasted like plain tea. That was disappointing. I also wanted to pick up lunch so I ordered the turkey sandwich. I don't eat raw tomatoes or bacon so I requested without but they left the tomatoes on the sandwich. The sandwich had a good amount of turkey on it and it was on multigrain bread, lettuce, Mayo. It was tasty. I would like to go back and try their monster claw when they have strawberries. Staff was friendly. Ohh I also tried their cream cheese brownie. It was delish! I entered by mistake, as I was looking for flower pots next door. When I went there, I thought I had made another mistake because I walked into a store full of beads and crafty items, so I left there and went back to Conversations because they had food. Well, I ordered the turkey and bacon croissant to go and it comes with chips. Bacon is my favorite, so the sandwich was delicious along with the Hawaiian brand kettle chips (Sweet and spicy). I loved it. While my lunch was being prepared, I told him about greens and corn bread....not Jiffy! I hope he makes it, but I did leave my phone number just in case. This adorable gem of a coffee and gift shop is in Kalihi up Liliha Street. And after hunting down street parking I was happy to see this shop has a little parking lot right next to it. Coffee, tea, açaí bowls, sandwiches, and a surprising assortment of snacks. There's also a ton of faith-friendly gifts for sale, including many items by local artists. One table inside, a few tables out front. I only had the basic açaí bowl, but loved it, and will definitely be back to try more of the menu, especially now that I know where to park! read more

I really don't want this place to get popular for selfish reasons. It's a super small secret find in Liliha and want it to stay that way. They have the yummiest smoothies and they also carry the authentic "chamui" in different sizes. This place also features art and crafts from local artist. Believe it or not I even picked myself up a hanging macrame plant holder. I would give it 5 starts but it's the limited and sometimes unpredictable hours it's open that could be better. Have not yet tried the sandwiches but friends who have tried it have raves about them. read more

I wanna say it's a great little shop with the biggest ALOHA I met the owner kawika n he was awesome n very well polite. I had a strong ice coffee n they made it to my likes. It was very good. I am only in the liliha area when I have a Dr appointment and been seeing this on IG I had to check it out. This Cafe is just my style and I like that it's a Christian faith based business. I think they just recently opened but they seems a little crowded when I went as they were setting up goodies and trinkets to sell all around the cafe. The food looks delicious with appetizing sandwiches and they poke sashimi cups. They sell some unique teas and mixed drinks. This time I was feeling a chicken sandwich and got a salad with mandarin oranges. They were both yummy. I think the this chicken salad had cranberries and just enough mayonnaise which was good. I think the pit it on sweet bread rolls which made it tastier. The salad was OK. The staff was friendly and service was fast. They have parking in this little lot right next door which was convenient. Hopefully can go back and try more items! read more

I've only had food my mom bought from here to eat at home--but I've heard it's a very cute cafe with great service, a family business with a grandma or something, so this review doesn't take into account the atmosphere which I didn't experience myself--but the food was great too. I tried the mister unagi salad which had tuna and taegu among other toppings. I don't really like taegu and my mom thought it was just unagi (I guess she didn't read) but I am a fan of tuna salads with actual salad--like tuna and lettuce is an underrated combination. I also had a pretty lemonade, but I particularly enjoyed the totoro mochi waffle. It's crispy on the outside and chewy but not oily like other moffles I've had, and also had a great, sweet, sort of vanilla taste--other ones I've tried have been kind of bland. It comes with sugar eyes and a little umbrella, and I ate mine with some ice cream. Definitely one of the better mochi waffles I've had. I tried conversations last week and it was such a nice relaxing place to visit! They had a big parking lot right next to their store front so that was great. Me and mom got their chocolate peanut butter banana shake and it was sooo good, just what I needed. Since it's a smaller cafe they only had one blender I believe so it took a bit longer but it was definitely worth the wait. Cute little coffee shop with lots of decor inside tucked away on Liliha St.. When we went around 3pm there was ample of parking available. Açaí bowl was yummy and tasted fresh. The staff was friendly. They were out of sourdough and wheat bread, which in hindsight the croissant was best for the BLT. Although, was a lite meal and was still hungry afterwards as the BLT was my first meal of the day. Would return and try something different from the menu, pricing is reasonable. They have little things that you can also purchase from the cafe such as stuffed toys and keychains. If I'm correct, they also sell small potted plants.
