Breakfast at the 808 Center in Honolulu, Hawaii... Scrolling through my Yelp app, a Hot New Business appeared... Third Space Coffee had great reviews and a 5-star rating... I had to explore! I found free street parking on Sheridan Street. I caught the elevator to the third floor where the cute, bright space is shared with Cake M. The workers were so friendly and helpful! They asked how I found out about their business. I replied, "Yelp". It was challenging to select a beverage from the menu. Everything sounded good. I chose Cedar Hills because it seemed the healthiest with a pinch of cinnamon! The honey, vanilla, and brown sugar were just right - not too sweet, but smooth and creamy from the oat milk (slight upcharge for dairy substitute). I also had an Everything Bagel with cream cheese. It was super delicious because of the slightly crisp toasted edges. The chewy middle was satisfying! They said that the bagel was from Big Time Bagels, a local small business. Yum! If you want a cool place to visit, check out Third Space Coffee! Note: they also serve tea! I'll be back!

Third Space Coffee is a new coffee shop on the 3rd floor of the 808 Center - in the same space as Cake M. The cafe itself is very cute and cozy. They have a variety of coffee and tea drinks. We ordered an iced americano and one of their specialty drinks, the St. John's (a latte with brown sugar cardamom syrup - delicious and not too sweet!). They also had a variety of baked goods, will be back to try these. Definitely stop by if you're in the area! The owners are super nice.

Third Space Coffee offers a cozy space with delicious coffee inspired by the Pacific Northwest. The owners are so friendly and welcoming and the coffee is delicious! Hoping to try their tea selections next time. The St. John's had the perfect amount of sweetness and cardamom -- I would definitely get it again! Vibe: Located on the third floor of the 808 Center, the space is cozy, with indoor and outdoor seating. Perfect spot to grab a quick drink or sit with friends to chat over coffee. There's stairs or an elevator leading right to the storefront. Parking: There's street parking and parking at the 808 Center.

New PNW inspired coffee tea shop located at the 808 center! They share a space with Cake M so you can get a drink, a savory pastry, and a dessert all at once! They just soft opened today (6/27) with hours of 10 AM - 2 PM until they extend for their grand opening. A great place to lounge with your friends since they had indoor and outdoor tables or a quick pick me up back to the office. Very aesthetic and well-lit coffee shop if you need to get any work done. I got to try The Bluff, Mount Hood, Spam & Cheddar Gochujang Scone, Bagel w/ Pizza Cream Cheese, and their Haupia Chia Seed Pudding. I absolutely loved everything but my faves would have to be The Bluff and the scone! I haven't had a London Fog since I visited Seattle and they blew it out of the park with their rendition of it. And their pastries are HUGE! Easily shareable and with the amount of cream cheese they put on it, you can order a second bagel! Absolutely love their signage as it's inspired by their doggo Kuro who I luckily got to meet. I have high hopes and wish them nothing but success on their new journey :)

Sadly, it seemed more folks were there for the pastries though. First off, I'm surprised I found such a fabulous cup of coffee in what feels like the epicenter of tourist life on this island. While visiting another island nearly establishment had signage stating they served Kona and/or Hawaiian coffee, but nearly every establishment's coffee was absolutely awful. Seeing the location I fully expected them to phone in the coffee, but it's clear that coffee comes first here, even if many of the guests are trying to get pastries! You'll be shocked by the line, but just know the staff is efficient and it moves fast. They offer a variety of their own locally roasted beans here, with options for batch brew, espresso drinks and even pour overs (impressive considering the volume of customers). The coffees are well described and the baristas have the additional knowledge you may be seeking when you order, and all in all this went as quickly as I could have expected. Truly, the coffee was delightful, and the fact I was drinking a hot drink on an extremely hot day didn't even phase me. I wanted so badly to bring home a bag of each one, but given that everything is more expensive in Hawaii, these were all 4x the price of the specialty coffee I buy on the mainland and I just couldn't make it happen. What will happen is me telling everyone to visit this shop when they're in Hawaii because it is 100% worth it. Won't you consider opening one in Reno NV?

Food: 5/5 I was able to try several of their brunch items including their Ham & Cheese Croissant, their Turkey Pest Sandwich, and their Traditional Waffle. Almost all of them were a hit! I especially liked their Turkey Pesto. It paired beautifully with their salad. Their breakfast waffle was also light and fluffy and their fruit was fresh. Drinks: 5/5 I tried their many lattes, coffees, smoothies. Their açaí smoothie was not my favorite because it had a lot of unblended seeds. I did love their leans & green smoothie, it had so many fruits and greens in it, and it also tasted so good. Service: 5/5 This place had wonderful service. All of their servers were so kind and they explained their menu so well. The food and drinks came out pretty timely and everything was fresh to order. Ambiance: 5/5 This place is attached to the Outrigger Hotel so they share a cafe area with the pool. It was beautiful to be able to enjoy breakfast by the poolside. It was giving summer vibes outside. Inside their cafe was very tropical with plants everywhere. I would definitely come back here for the food, the drinks, the happy hour, the ambiance, and the service!

I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was a really reasonable price for the heart of Waikiki. On top of that, it was both big and satisfying. It's mainly made with eggs, potatoes, bell peppers, and cheese, so if you like eggs, you'll enjoy it. Some of my friends thought it had too many eggs and lacked actual meat of some sort, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The burritos are premade and warmed up after you order, so you can't really make any modifications. You can also order from the restaurant upstairs, but we were told the wait is around 30 minutes. I also tried the strawberry matcha, which was decent but nothing special. It's located on the first floor of a hotel and has plenty of seating, including options for larger groups.

Like, I've ordered coffee and food here before and they've just weiiiiirdly forgotten to make it...multiple times. Today I waited 25 minutes, just vibing with my friend while they finished their food and drink, before realizing I had to ask where MY drink was. They apologized and fixed it immediately, but it's becoming a 'thing.' I'm still going to come here, but I'm honestly looking for a new favorite spot where they don't forget to make my coffee, at a coffee shop. If you go here, bring a book, be prepared to wait, and definitely don't be shy about asking for your drink. It's a test of patience, but the coffee is good when you finally get it!

I looked forward to it every morning. I also tried the chia pudding, and wow... it was absolutely to die for. So fresh, flavorful, and the perfect breakfast. Before heading home, I grabbed a few bags of their 100% Kona coffee because I wasn't ready to give it up once my trip was over. The shop has a really nice, clean vibe and is connected to the Moana Surfrider, making it an easy stop whether you're staying there or just walking around Waikiki. It definitely gets busy, especially in the mornings, but the line moves fast and the staff is always friendly and efficient. This was easily one of my favorite coffee spots in Waikiki. That said, I actually enjoyed the coffee here. My go-to order is the Iced Local Latte, which has great flavor and is the drink that keeps me coming back. My only complaint is that I wish they added more ice since it tends to melt pretty quickly. Compared to the other popular coffee spots nearby, I'd personally rank this just behind Island Vintage. It's a close second and still a solid choice if you're looking for a quality latte. One thing I appreciate is how efficiently they handle the crowds. Even when there's a line, it usually moves pretty quickly. There's also plenty of indoor seating, making it an easy place to relax with a morning coffee before starting the day. Overall, while the prices are on the higher side, the coffee is consistently good, the service is efficient, and it's a comfortable spot to start your morning.
