My favorite drinks here are the Vanilla Macnut Latte and the Matcha Latte because the ratio is just right. They're flavorful and never watered down. Even the color looks perfect! This time, I tried their food for the first time and ordered the Turkey Melt sandwich. Oh my gosh, it was so good! It had this sweet sauce paired with crispy apples inside the sandwich, and all the flavors came together perfectly. The salad on the side also had a delicious dressing that tasted almost like a smoky meat sauce, but with a slight tanginess to it. Yum!!! We also ordered a burrito, and wow...their burritos are HUGE! They're packed and loaded with everything you could want inside. We got steak with roasted potatoes and some other veggies. The café itself has such a relaxing atmosphere. The high ceilings make the space feel open and inviting, and they even have a second floor seating area. There are beautiful plant decorations, nice artwork, and an overall cozy vibe that makes it a great place to hang out. The staff here are always so, so, so kind and helpful. A special shoutout to Tommy, who was very friendly and took the time to explain the menu items to us. If you're dining in, they give you a table number and bring the food right to your table. The place is cute and gives off the community space vibes with plenty of seating, indoors and some outdoors. I'm sure the coffee is good, however the turkey panini was expensive and not good. The bread was not what you use for a panini/pressed sandwich. It was like a whole wheat sandwich bread. The turkey wasn't the best, too mch of the fig jam, which overpowered everything, it just didn't work. I sadly only ate a few bites before I threw in the towel. The Morning Brew is such a beautiful cafe.. wow. I would go here everyday. I love the open and cozy vibe with the concrete floors and the plant life around here. They also have a second floor too! I ordered the smoked salmon bagel and I can confidently say that was the best bagel I have ever ate. It was a bit on the pricier side as it was 2 bagels for $18, but it was amazing. It was a nicely crisp bagel to add texture to the softness of the cream cheese and salmon. It's been years.......and we are still coming back! Is it a good thing to say the food tastes the same? I think so!! Especially when I loved it the first time and every time since. The people working are ALWAYS polite and helpful. Now....this is unique for me, I find that new businesses and old businesses with smaller customer pools (regulars) tend to be the most friendly, except here. They are always so nice, even when they are slammed with people and there is a line out the door! The ambiance is exactly the same (weird bird noises over the speaker the other day was a bit different...but I didn't hate it, although it did have me looking around to see if there was a bird cage...there was not). I came here to do some work and it was not too bad of a spot. They have a wide selection of drinks and food items you can order. I ordered an iced Thai latte and a berry cheesecake type of thing from their case. My coffee was ok, it was very milky and not as strong as I would like it to be. Morning Brew is a located at Salt Kakaako. Parking is free for the first hour, then you'll need to pay. There's also metered street parking. You can count on waiting in line outside the cafe until the line inside allows more room to enter. Luckily the line moves pretty quickly. The high ceiling, hanging light fixtures, and splashes of greenery are nice touches. The menu offers a wide variety of gourmet food and specialty coffee options. The music is hip, the service is good, the workers are young. They're aiming for the trendy, elevated cafe experience. For the most part, I like it, but the food could be better. The toppings made all the difference when judging the open-faced items. The smoked salmon bagel was a disappointment. The flavor was bland compared to others I've had. I love cucumbers, but there's a time and a place... aside from aesthetics, it did nothing for this dish. At a $17 price point, toppings like sprouts or tomatoes should be automatic, or at least a complimentary option. Let's just say, major fail here. The avocado and egg toast was really good. Here you have avocado, egg, arugula, tomato, radish, goat cheese, and balsamic glaze. Lots of elements, lots of flavor bursts (especially with an over easy egg)... and $5 less than the salmon. I would order it again. The vanilla macnut latte was smooth and flavorful. I would definitely order it again. I like that there's an upstairs seating area, but it's very small so it does feel a little cramped. Morning Brew is a great place to relax with a cup of coffee, kill time, or get some work done. I recently grabbed breakfast and coffee here while waiting for my car which was in the shop nearby. It's located in SALT Kaka'ako and the neighborhood is very walkable, so it was easy to get to. The space is very open, bright, and has lots of seating spread out across 2 floors, as well as outside. The Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had a sleepy morning, so the the staff kindly explained things for me more than once when I misunderstood, and I really appreciated their positive attitude and patience. I ordered a breakfast burrito and an iced honey cinnamon latte. The breakfast burrito was packed full of veggies, fluffy egg, smoky spiced potatoes and black beans, cilantro-filled guacamole (which I love), and a tangy sour cream salsa on the side. The burrito is vegetarian and at $12, is perfectly good without add-ons, but you can add meat for an extra $3. The latte was on the sweeter side, a bit heavy on the honey, but was nice and creamy. If you are going to work or spend more than a couple hours here, I recommend sitting downstairs where there are more available outlets compared to upstairs. I also grabbed a breakfast burrito, and I tried a large iced Cinnamon Honey latte with oat milk. The coffee was good as usual. I liked the breakfast burrito, but I think it was a bit bland and missing some salt, but luckily they have salt and pepper packets. I also noticed that the black beans and onions weren't cooked the best. I noticed the onions seemed almost raw. I think it would taste best if it was cooked a bit more down. Im so glad i found this spot . Amazing food and ambience. Indoor seating , outdoor seating, upstairs seating . The decor was amazing. It made me feel very comfortable and at home for a busy spot . Decor was updated . Mix of college kids, townies, laid back people . It's like a upgraded nicer homier Starbucks . The staff was nice and clean looking. I had the avocado toast w over easy egg , arugula tomatoes and balsamic vinegar. They had some cheese on the side that made this dish pop !! I have to say the best avocado toast I ever had . Tryna be mindful of what I eat so I opted to get just a regular iced green tea . Idk why it tasted amazing like it had a hint of mint in it . We were looking for a place to sit and hang out for a bit and needed some table space to take care of some work. We decided on Morning Brew as I wanted to try something new. We walked in and was greeted by a bright and lively coffee shop bustling with people. There are two levels with a number of tables available and more seating upstairs. They had really delicious looking line-up of fresh baked goods and a fairly wide and varied menu of beverages and food. From sandwiches and toasts, to bowls and sweet treats, they have a great selection of breakfast and brunch items. As for their coffee, it's all locally roasted and also had a pretty wide selection. From single brew pour overs to beverage specials like a cold brew float, there's something for everyone. As for me, I went with an iced German mocha which apparently combines espresso, chocolate, and other flavors to create a taste similar to German chocolate cake. It was perfect and I enjoyed sipping on it while hanging out in the shop. All in all, Morning Brew is cute and modern and makes for a great space to hangout and catch up with friends. I think it would also be a good spot for breakfast/brunch. Located at the Salt in kaka'ako, this coffee shop boasts local flavors in a friendly, trendy, but not too pretentious coffeehouse way. He loves it because of their 100% kona drip. Always takes forever (what drip doesn't), but comes out the perfect temperature. I got their matcha latte, which is sweetened with local honey, a lovely touch. We also tried a fabulous garlic mushroom sandwich today, with a side salad--super umami and filling in my opinion for a midday snack for two! Their prices are comparable to other high end coffee shops, but we do love the ample seated space and accessibility. First hour of parking in the mall structure is free as well! read more

Stopped by with my coworker one morning after court, and it was our first time here. Surprisingly, it was not crowded but had a good amount of people there. Ordered the avocado toast and their blueberry lemonade with agave. The toast was nice and perfect for a light breakfast. The drink was a little too sweet but I don't drink that many agave included drinks so maybe that's how it was supposed to taste. The vibe was nice and chill. It's a popular spot in Salt. There is indoor and outdoor seating. All the tables on the first floor were taken, so we enjoyed our meal upstairs. Menu items include bagels, sandwiches, bowls, and of course coffee and tea. It didn't take me long to decide on the Smoked Salmon Bagel. It comes complete with capers, red onions, cucumbers, and dill cream cheese. No regrets here. I ate every last bite and am looking forward to having it again the next time I'm there. For my drink, I opted for an iced Thai latte. Not on the menu but if they serve it hot, they can surely serve it on ice. Also drank every last drop as the coffee was smooth and when it comes to milk, I don't play. Whole milk makes it a lot better. Our drinks were ready at the counter to the left and our food was delivered to our table. In true coffee shop form, patrons enjoy food and drink with friends, studying alone, business meetings, and virtual meetings. I don't think Salt would be what it was without coffee joints like these.
